Absolutely atrocious service, having to wait for hours for a simple bank statement, incomplete information from bank agents causing me to have to visit 3 branches, 3 different visits, and call center falls just to print basic documents. The National Bank of Egypt deactivated my card and withheld my funds without any formal notice or legal justification, despite full compliance on my part. I was repeatedly referred between branches, customer service, and Easy Cash with no accountability or resolution. This is a clear violation of customer rights and an unacceptable banking practice. By far the worst experience with a bank. Taking a year to reset password and they simply can’t manage such a simple task. I had to fly to Cairo to fix it but even then, they could not. They are so good at blaming customer and other departments.
If you ask, why I am still banking with them? I am existing but I have to fly again to Cairo.
By the way, they have a lousy Mobile Banking App.
They call center agents are friendly but clueless about solving problems.

There seems to be no proper system in place to address issues or ensure that clients feel valued.
I expected better from such a prominent organization, but unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for the bank to improve its services, prioritize customer care, and uphold the standards expected from a financial institution.

I have been dealing with this bank since 2007. It may have some negatives, such as long waiting times and many security tests, but to be honest, it is the safest in Egypt. The money in this bank is 100% safe.

This is the worst bank I've dealt with .....we are foreigners in Egypt..and we use an international card ..my friend's credit card got stuck in on of their ATM machines.....and we called customer service twice for help they collected the data and told to contact our bank to get confirmation....which was silly but we did get the confirmation anyways..... and went to collect our card to one of their branches... They made us wait for a long time and..and in the end they refused to help us in getting back the card .....what do you mean contact our bank? Isn't it your ATM? Is a staff of our bank supposed to come here and deal with it? And the card got stuck because of your crappy machines....how hard is it to just get it..... probably not harder than getting a new card from our country and having it shipped to Egypt..... disappointing service
The worst customer service ever
The worst customer service ever. Each employee is giving different information with different way, they don't know how to deal the customer, how to respect them. You have to be free no work no appointments for few days to finish one deal , to do any deal you should visit all counters, no one can finish every customer alone . It is the big mistake or adisaster that you will be having account or any deal in this bank. You will lose your time and your respect to finish your work there. But in this all I want to appreciate one employee his name is Ebrahim Abdelaziz who handled tha case and give respect that is the professional way to give customer service.
