Great experience, all went as expected. Managed 20% more the well known instant online buy site. Car collected on time. Motorway dealt with the payment within seconds of collection. Very pleased with the motorway communication.

It was an excellent experience and one I would have no hesitation in doing again.

First the positive: the process of placing the ad, taking photos and the communictaion etc is very good. BUT, the whole system is a complete rip off and nothing short of a scam. 1) They give you an initial valuation (in my case £7700) but this apparaently is based upon it being in pristine condition. My car is 7 years old and no car that is 7 years old is EVER in pristine condition. Hence, they knocked £500 off for a couple of very minor scraches, which were nothing beyond what you'd expect for a car that age. 2) At auction the best offer was then £6400. This would suggest that their initial valuation was clearly too high. 3) Then comes the dealer! They arrive and do a full check, drive etc. They initially say that there is more superficial damage than I stated. I asked him to point out where and after pointing to the scratches I'd already photographed, pointed to just one other scratch that you cannot see unless you have a magnifiying glass! They then state that the timing belt will probably need replacing. I said that it had recently been servived and MOTd and this had not come up or ever been mentioned. He said that they normally need replacing anyway between 60 and 80000 miles, to which I pointed out that their offer was based upon a car with 79000 miles! Finally offered me £4500 and I told them where to go.

First time I’ve used Motorway. Wasn’t sure what to expect. Decent valuation, much better than WeBuyAnyCar or direct trade in, sold at valuation on first auction, contact made by purchaser to arrange collection, great communication on day of collection to keep me updated on arrival time, very professional inspection, immediate payment and V5 change. Couldn’t have been smoother and extremely happy with service. Motorway provided lots of help and support if required (it wasn’t but good to know it was there).

Process was simple & explained in depth, including options when vehicle did not sell. Pickup & payment were straightforward & completely hassle free. Much better price than a similar company that may well purchase any vehicle offered.

Selling process straightforward with Motorway. (Be honest about condition to stop the possibility of a reduction in offer later). No problem for us. Car sold for the mutually accepted valuation. Hilton Garage Derby arranged collection at an agreeable time and date and arrived on time. Inspection went without a hitch as did the transfer of the money to clear finance etc. Thanks must go to Zany, the collection driver who was very friendly and efficient in his duties and sorted the finances before taking the vehicle away. Time taken around 30 minutes.

Everything is so easy from start to finish even taking pictures of my car was so very easy the price I was charged was so small I was paid straight away before my car was taken away

My first time using motorway and I have got to say it was so easy and very quick. Once my car went up a buyer called and wanted to collect the following day. Collection was no hassle and money transferred instantly

Fantastic service & car sold within hours !!! I'm not usually given to using the internet for large sale items and tbh it was a bit confusing (on my part), Zoe at Motorway made the whole process so much easier to understand, took plenty of time and patience and we managed to get our car listed and sold within a few hours for exactly what we wanted for it. i would certainly recommend Zoe to anyone else out there struggling with technology to get the job done. Loaded the app, followed the instructions, car went to auction same day. At 15:30 the following day I was advised of highest bidder which I was pleased to accept. Just had my car collected by the buyer two days after it sold. Payment direct to account. No issues.

This has been a long winded process for me. I had taken my own photo's and not used their app, I have emailed so many different people so many different photos. But, we got there in the end thanks to Smiso, its taken us over an hour to sort everything out.

The process needs changing as you go through the questionaire it asks have you taken your own photos, I clicked yes and uploaded them, but then I was asked to download an app and take them through that and there was no way of moving on.

Finally Car goes to aution tomorrow now thanks to SMISO!!
