First time going through this so all new, but easy to deal with and wait for the sale,was disappointed with price of the car in the end, but maybe l was being too greedy as my car had never given me any problems. The dealer that brought my car was very pleasant,professional and happy with the car,paid straight away after he checked over, and also did the V5C for me, so l have no complaints with how it went.

Impossible to deal with - all AI nonsense. I ended up selling via a different route. Not Motorways fault. But they were a nightmare to deal with. They wanted their fee despite not selling via them. You can only communicate with via a bot which just goes round in circles and is so frustrating. So my review is based on me changing my mind with Motorway and them not listening to me about that and wanting money for nothing. If you change your mind, they are impossible to deal with.

Easy to deal with, excellent 🐕‍🦺, would use again

This is a difficult review as I think Motorway were very good. The thing what I had not thought about was that you don’t know who you are selling to and definitely have no control over this. Needless to say we had a really bad time with our buyers and that is the reason I will never use Motorway again.

This was the third time I've sold a car with Motorway and I've had an extremely pleasant experience every time. Didn't have to take the car off the drive. Took the photos, completed the questions, next day car was sold, left it where it was until it was collected.Perfect.

Really easy to upload photos and documents. Offered a good price from Motorway and collection and payment were quickly arranged. Money was instantly put in my account once car was checked over, no quibble on price from the buyer.

The transaction ran smoothly, and I sold my car at a price better than we buy any car. However, the price from the 1st auction did not hit my reserve price so I did not accept. I called the customer service to request for relist, the guy said my car depreciate very fast because of the high oil price blah blah blah, and asked me to relist at a lower price. But eventually the result of the 2nd auction was way better than the 1st’s.

received my valuation for the car it was higher than expected, I proceed to sell but the best auction price was below the valuation, I was happy with the auction price as I didn't think my car was worth the valuation and I checked online also. I accepted the auction. Selling was painless I took picture of my car and upload online, the dealer contacted me for a collection date, the money was in my account shortly after the car appraisal. I received the exact auction price minus the motorway fee.

got my car to more traders ,so was impressed with the speed of sale , the only reason for the 4 stars was the photograph prosess was anoying .but otherwise good job

The set up with the photos and initial communication was perfect. The car got sold and disappointing reached £1k less than the expected price but that’s not motorways fault it’s who is at the auction that day. But then to upload my documents the app wasn’t working and it took 3 phone calls and a lot of patience to get the documents to Motorway as they don’t accept them by email. If I hadn’t pestered them to help because of their glitch in the app the sale would have fell through. To be honest if I wasn’t set up so well at home with scanner and printer with knowledge it wouldn’t have happened, horrible experience.

I was sent e mails giving incorrect information stating my v5 was both invalid and out of date which is not possible and that I was trying to sell a different car I was then asking for information I had already uploaded to be uploaded again

Simple process but valuations are a little misleading. Make sure everything is noted to ensure accurate valuation

Quick and easy process.
Communication from the buyer was a little spotty but all nice and easy in the end.
Don’t get close to what they originally valued the car at but ultimately I accepted the offer given.

once registered on the app (as everything needs these days) I had to take quite a number of photos, but the app provides faint guide lines to assist this, once this and the other details entered, it then gets listed and auctioned. While the taking the photos was a faff, the process was smooth and it gave me a better auction list price than WBAC was offerring. Following the auction, I was informed it had sold for more than the list.
The buying garage contacted me, came and took all the photos again (I guess to confirm the item is as described) and did a short test drive. Payment was then authorised and appeared quickly minus a small admin fee (again this was much less then WBAC). The then came to collect a day later. Dropped 1* as the collection people just arrived got in and drove off, without saying anything (rather rude) and they also didnt take the V5, so I am now having to post this to the garage. - Although this -1* was the garages fault not Motorway.

Once all relevant information and images uploaded the car was sold within 2 days and paid for within 5. All went well

Was a very straight forward process and obtained a very good price
