The whole process was easy from start to finish, i guess the final price of your sale is going to be a bartering process but this is to be expected with second hand car dealers.
I was satisfied with the outcome payment was hassle free.

The app is rubbish, doesn’t update, had to call loads of times which defeats the object of the app, made changes, didn’t reflect on the account.
Company who buys car is very unlikely to give you the bid price either, on inspection, surprise surprise always lots more wrong when they stick in the diagnostic. Usual underhand stuff when you’re not in the trade yourself.

I had a very good experience from start to finish when selling my car through Motorway. They kept me informed and were on top of the process the whole way through.

I wrote a complaint to Motorway about tyre kickers coming after the sale of my car, and they tried to knock off a third of the price of my car. Here is my email to them. "Hi,
Yesterday, the dealer came for my car. The inspector was tyre-kicking, even though everything is in the photos and it has passed its recent MOT. The manager of Imperial Auto Trade said my tyres need changing, there is a dent, and my steering wheel column needs relining. The dent is in the photo. The tyres are in the photos and on the MOT. The steering issue is bogus, and I know. Even my neighbours thought they were scamming. They offered me £2450 even though it sold for £3200. After about an hour of wasting my time, they offered £3000. I feel robbed and abused. I hate tyre kickers, and holding in my pure rage was hard and exhausting, not the least depressing. I accepted the offer as I'm broke and needed to pay off the car loan; however, due to losing £200, I had to borrow the extra from my young daughter's piggy bank.
This was meant to be an online auction, sold as seen in the photos. Passed it's MOT recently, so it drives fine, and any issue would be in the MOT papers. I did ask them to leave when they offered £2450, but they wouldn't.
This has traumatised me, so please do something about this.

Easy to use system, straight forward instructions

Avoid this company if you are selling your car.
The company who came to inspect my car literally and openly tried to scam me so I would accept a lower price and motorway did nothing about it.

All smooth and easy to manage with some help from my neighbour and turned out £600 more than was offered in PX.

This is the second time I have 'sold' my truck via Motorway, on both occasions collection by the buyer was deferred by more than a week. When the driver arrives to collect the vehicle a very detailed 'inspection' is undertaken and a reduced offer ~£1000 is made in the knowledge that the truck is now 1 month older and hence the book valuation has dropped. When I contacted Motorway for help I'm simply told 'you don't have to accept the offer you can relist' but now the truck is 1 month older.
This behaviour on the part of buyers is systematic, cynical exploitation and the support from Motorway is non-existent. The professional buyers know they have you over a barrel and Motorway facilitate their behaviour. I won't use Motorway again and will advice others of this practice.

It was really easy to sell my car with Motorway. Very simple well explained instructions and good communication throughout the sale process. I received a decent price for my car. Definitely 5 stars!

Seller bidder top bid, came and had a look at my car and knocked 1,000 off of the original offer. Nothing wrong with my car at all. Had to take the offer unfortunately as im in a hard place.
