The Customer Service via telephone support was excellent which was just as well as the app and technology was.very temperamental.
I received a price a bit better than I expected for my car

It was an ordeal and I wouldn’t sell like this again. Dealers cannot buy from photos which resulted in me getting almost £1000 less than my winning bid

We had the most wonderful service from Motorway. They were professional, helpful, quick to respond and excellent at providing information and help on the selling process. They guided us through the listing and kept us informed at every stage. And to top it all, they achieved the price they had suggested as a guide price (which was £1300 more than we were offered by another online sales company!). We would recommend them without hesitation!

I was sceptical about using Motorway. Not all reviews are favourable. But from the point where a very attractive guide price was offered, everything went very well. Communication and on line advice was great, basically a handholding process from start to finish. The only delay was with DVLA, waiting for the new V5 after I removed my private plate. The best tip I got was to be completely honest when setting up your vehicle profile to avoid any discussion about the price when it comes to pick up time (again, full support available on demand.) I had no such problems, and the auction price (£250 over guide price) was paid without question on the spot.
So, overall, great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend using (if, of course, the "price is right")

Easy to advertise your car. You do the work of photographing and description etc. Worth selling on here for more ££s than a part exchange. Be careful about being “ knocked down” in price by the buyer. You expect a bit, but if description correct then judge wisely.
All in all though, satisfied with the result.

App does not function correctly (Android app).
Uploaded photos not acknowledged even though confirmed by phone that photos were on system. Everytime I re-opened the app it wanted all photos done even though already submitted and accepted.
It should be made clear on website that if you are trying to sell in the two weeks before or after the end date of a PCP agreement it will be very difficult to organise with the finance company as I discovered that VWFS take a minimum of 10 working days to issue confirmation of agreement paid. I expect there are other finance companies with similar policies.
On a positive note, the staff I spoke to at Motorway tried their best and did, in the end, manage to resolve the issues.

Decent valuation, easy process to list the car, quick and easy handover process. Very happy.

Awful, the dealer turns up 5 hours late. Then offers lower than agreed with a made up major fault, now because they say it has a massive oil leak, that magically never drips on the drive I can not resell till I pay to prove otherwise, customer service do not care they only believe the dealer, are these dealers vetted?

As close to a legal scam as I’ve ever seen. You’re given a guide price and then placed into an auction where the outcome of that auction isn’t binding on any party. Been through numerous auctions where the buyer, who bid and won, just pulls out before any further viewing or contact is made.
On top of this, motorway continue to ask for the same paperwork over and over again. I started the process well over a month ago and have just had yet another ‘sale’ cancel before collection.
Avoid avoid avoid.

Worked well for me. Experience very slick from advertising the car to arranging collection and payment. Happy with price received too.
