Have just purchased another cap the linen Brooklyn, fantastic quality and service as always. A perfect cap for the summer, incredibly smart and can be worn as part of your casual wardrobe but equally looks great with more formal wear. The staff in the shops are really knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble for them. They genuinely want you find the best cap possible and not what is a quick sale

I recently bought Laird Hatters' signature hat for the races at Newmarket, and I couldn't be happier. The quality is excellent, the fit is perfect, and I received so many compliments throughout the day. Great product and a fantastic experience - highly recommended!

I was passing through Oxford a few weeks ago, and thought "i wonder if they have any nice hats". Well, not only do they have LOVELY hats, they have some of the most lovely and enthusiastic staff ... and their hats are made in this country, which is increasingly something I look for. The hat I bought - which will be the first, not the last - is of great quality, and fits my rather over-sized head very well. They did say they make to order, and small-batch designs. I was ... bowlered over!

I now have six Laird hats, all Baker boy/Newsboy style. The sizing, range of materials and workmanship are consistently excellent and reliable. Both sleek and looser styles look good. I would highly recommend Laird, particularly as you are supporting a high quality British business.

Excellent advice and service at your Cambridge store. Having lost my original hat I popped it only to find a polite staff member who took the time to show and help choose my replacement.
This will be my go to shop for future purchases!

The instore experience was great. The gentlemen working in the store were knowledgeable, professional, and, most importantly, honest about a hat I liked that they said did not look good on me. I appreciate that the salesmen steered me to a hat that does look great on me, unlike the one I initially chose.

I ordered the wrong hat, the matter was dealt with very quickly and I reordered the correct hat which has now arrived. Great hats well packaged and lovely to wear.

The experience of buying a flat cap from Lairds was everything anyone would want it to be: the man in the shop (never got his name) showed excellent knowledge of what he had in stock and apparently endless patience. My impression is that he wants each customer to be satisfied with their choice - there was never a scintilla of pressure: an amazing experience in today’s world. I’m happy with what I bought.

I’ve purchased three excellent caps, all made in England. My summer cap is the Sicilian tactical. The quality is superb and it is very comfortable, shielding my face from the sun. Laird also provides first class service with super quick delivery. I’d like to thank them for keeping their production in England. It’s very important. In particular I’d like to thank them for taking on Christy’s, the venerable Oxfordshire hat maker.

I spotted this hat while visiting Oxford, and had the kind of buyer's remorse that makes you sorry you didn't buy it when you had the chance. But I tracked it down again back in the states, and was able to buy it after all.

I bought a bucket list item of a genuine Panama hat. (Goodwood) . The hat size is perfect after advice in the shop in Cambridge which gave a excellent experience in store. I've since bought a Shelvy cap I was that impressed. Highly recommended.

I purchased a baker boy cap from Mark. He knew immediately sizes I needed and I purchased. Later on he realized he had charged me incorrectly for the wrong hat (to much) and told me I was due a refund of $15 lb. Went over the next day and bought another cap.
