I was able to complete my 2025/26 tax return and found this very easy to use, especially as I had to sort out some CGT items. The support was good and pointed me to the relevant guides.

No complaints on producing my tax return to the HMRC. Just one small criticism. As I am of a certain age I found it a little stressful not to have available the online chat support line. All support is now by email.

It's easy to understand

This Software works well I am happy with the resulting successful submission of my UK tax return. I found the Software easy to navigate and easy to use. A product that adds value and is well done.

It does the job (I think...) but omg the truly dreadful user interface will drive you crazy. These people are tax geeks and need to employ a designer/user experience expert.

I thought I had completed it but for some reason it wasn't submitted. I had no reminders from GoSimple. They have been increasing their prices as well so maybe it is time for a change.

It took a moment to get to grips with the system again, but once there it was fine.

Easy to use. Provide webminars frequently. Responsive CS.

I am fairly adept at submitting my SA100 tax return online to HMRC but can no longer do this as I am in Spain and subject to double taxation rules. The options are to fill in a SA100 and SA109 and post them or use HMRC approval 3rd Party software. I chose GoSimple. I can’t say that my first submission was simple, I found it a huge learning curve. But GoSimple support was always there to respond swiftly and patiently hold my hand during the process. I must have asked for support over a dozen times and yet was never made to feel a nuisance. Having achieved this successfully in 2026 future years should be a lot easier unless HMRC change the requirements.

Easy to use with helpful support. Delighted to have found GoSimple Tax. Many features to recommend, including remembering previous years entries, helpful pop up tips, and calculating tax liability every time an entry is made. Would thoroughly recommend!

Simple and Straightforward.
Only got stuck on “Submit “ Return. Managed to file the return after couple of attempts.

Rather than feeling like you’re filling in a complex HMRC form, it guides you through each section in plain English and helps you understand things like pension contributions, Gift Aid, and savings interest. It made the whole process much quicker and gave me confidence that I hadn’t missed anything important.

Website buggy, wanted to charge me again for a service already paid for. Will not use again
