Awful service

Awful service. Had to wait at the airport for an hour and 50 minutes after landing with a one year old kicking off. Staff were extremely rude and kept putting the phone down on us, 4 times to be exact. They kept saying ‘12 minutes’ every single time. When they turned up they were rude, no apologies, no explanation just pure ignorance. HIGHLY would not recommend this ‘meet and greet’ more like ‘stand and wait’. Business should not be able to operate

TOTAL COWBOYS DO NOT USE

I have no words for the disgusting service received from Fly Away parking ( also known as IPark )
On arrival I was kept waiting 40 mins after giving the advance phone call on the way. There was nowhere to leave the car safely on level 4 orange carpark as instructed and was told to go to level 5. There were no spaces there either so drive around 4 & 5 again until somebody left and a space was available. Either way other meet and greet there has always been parking bays and someone meeting me.
I phoned 5 times and finally someone came. I was then told that the carpark ticket had to be paid & it was now £10 not £7.
Firstly when I booked it did not mention this not being included until after I had paid all the other bookings I make sure there is no additional charge.

I refused to pay the extra £3 as I had been waiting for them to turn up.

No receipt was given, no collection slip, no check of car or mileage.

I returned 6/7 Oct
Flight arrived 11.45pm, no passport control queue, bags were out immediately and I called for my booked car drop off which was 12.30am

Firstly why do they not know the collection time and need to ask me ?it’s on the booking, and why do they not text you about a delay so you are aware in advance.

I was then told 1 hour

This was not good enough but the excuse of we are busy, there are roadworks blah blah was given.

I waited until 2.07am
I phoned numerous times and was told it’s on its way, oh another 30 minutes just lies. Phone was put down on me, and unacceptable attitude.

We were waiting with other disgruntled customers and that’s when we realised these cowboys trade u see different names using the same mobile number.

I had called again and told my car had left but thought id ask the driver of another car being dropped off.

He said he would help find the keys.
WHAT??
He was already in another car in front of my eyes so where was my car if it hadn’t left.

It is not appropriate or safe to leave women alone in a carpark at 2am

When my car finally arrived with the sane driver as the previous car I was furious
I had another 3 hour drive to do too

ANY 5-STAR REVIEWS ARE LIES — AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I booked Fly Away Parking at Gatwick South Terminal and it was a disaster from start to finish. First red flag: I never received a confirmation email after paying. Thankfully, I had taken a screenshot of the booking reference, or I’d have had no proof of the reservation.

When we arrived to drop the car off, it wasn’t the professional setup you’d expect — no branded signage, no uniformed staff, just one sketchy guy standing next to a bollard, clearly confused and unprepared. To make it worse, we were told we had to pay for the parking ticket ourselves, which we’ve NEVER had to do with other meet-and-greet services.

On return, we followed their instructions and called as soon as we landed. We told them we’d be 20 minutes, but it ended up being 40. When we got to the pickup point, the same sketchy guy was standing there again — but he had no idea where our car was and told us to call the driver. The driver claimed he had just left to get the car and would be 15 minutes — even though we were already 40 minutes later than expected, so that made no sense.

Fifteen minutes passed. Nothing.
We called again — now he says he’s stuck in traffic and doesn’t know how long he’ll be. The excuses kept changing. An hour and a half passed, still no sign of our car. Then, out of nowhere, we get a no caller ID call — it was the original guy by the bollard, now saying the DRIVER had been lying to us and he actually had the car keys the whole time!

Another hour passed. We ended up waiting TWO AND A HALF HOURS in total, with a sick 3-year-old child, before we finally got our car back. And to top it all off, we had to pay AGAIN to exit the car park.

What made the whole situation even worse is that we were not the only ones experiencing this nightmare. There were two other groups around us, both using different companies for parking, yet they had the same phone number we were calling, which means they are all clearly operating under different names but are the same company! They were also waiting for hours like we were.

The man who finally returned our car admitted they’ve been having ongoing problems for weeks with cars being delayed for hours.

This company is a joke and completely unprofessional. DO NOT USE FLY AWAY PARKING. If I could give zero stars, I would.

AVOID Fly Away Parking Gatwick at all costs

I had one of the worst customer experiences of my life with Fly Away Parking Gatwick.

On my return to Gatwick South Terminal (24th Sept), I followed their instructions and called as soon as I landed. I was told 35 mins for my car to be delivered. Over an hour later, my car still hadn’t arrived. Despite my confirmation email clearly showing South Terminal, they left my car at the North Terminal and falsely blamed me.

At 30 weeks pregnant and suffering from sciatica, I was forced to walk between terminals and car parks with luggage. Even then, I was repeatedly given the wrong location – first Level 6, then Level 5 – only to eventually find my car myself at 00:29 on Level 4, by using the Tesla app to sound the horn.

The service was not only incompetent but also untrustworthy:
• I was forced to pay a £15.50 car park charge due to their mistake.
• They failed to return my Tesla key, leaving it on the tyre and walking off. After going back to see if we could see the key it was on floor.
• My Tesla records show the car was driven 23 miles without permission during my trip.
• The car was returned dirty, smelling of food, and with reduced battery.
• Phone calls were ignored or cut off, and when I asked for the complaints email, they promised to send it but never did.

This company caused me stress, pain, and financial loss on what was supposed to be my baby moon trip. I will never use them again and urge others to avoid at all costs.

lazy unprofessional vile company

They are the most lazy rudest people and so unprofessional they dont even say hello when they answer the phone. Every car they take a minimum of 1 hour to return the car it clearly says allow 25-35 minutes for the return of your car. This is not the case at all. I arranged for my car to be delivered at 11.30pm and I was left waiting until gone 1.45m. Another person who they just dropped back had a smashed windscreen in which we watched him park and left before the woman even got to her car to check it and another man had a dent in their car and had had also been waiting for over an hour this was on a different day. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU DONT MIND WAITING FOR A LONG TIME DOR A DAMAGED TO CAR TO BE RETURNED BY RUDE STAFF WHO HAVE NO CARE FOR YOU BELONGINGS. THEY SHOULD BE STRUCK OFF AND NOT ALLOWED TO TRADE. ALSO KNOWN AS IPARK. ALL REVIEWS ARE FAKE

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Hidden charges, and shocking customer service. I am currently standing waiting for my car that should be here but there is no sign of it. I did as they said and called 30 minutes before I needed to pick up, now heading towards 1 hour if waiting after a long day of travelling. AVOID

Meet and Greet? More like Meet and Wait

Drop off - OK - had to wait a few minutes after asking for drop off with just over 30 minutes notice.
Pick up - dreadful. Had to explain which terminal and controller couldn't find booking initially. Booked for arrival at 00:30 and I was there within 5 minutes. I gave them 30 minutes notice and they arrived nearly 1 hour after my phone call. I had a 3 hour drive and it was finally given back to me at about 1am. REALLY unimpressed.

Rude and terrible communication

Both times I’ve come to collect my car it’s been a shambles. Terrible communication- they leave you waiting for ages, don’t reply to texts. I called after half an hour or being told to wait- he said it wasn’t on the way and I couldn’t collect me car today?! I’m now waiting again, hoping it actually turns up this time. It’s been an hour since I rang and text already. Man on the phone is so rude also.

I am writing to express my…

I am writing to express my disappointment with the condition of my car when I returned to collect it after booking parking for one week.
When I picked up my vehicle, I found it extremely dirty inside. It was clear that several people had been sitting in both the front and back seats. The seats and floor were covered in mud, which made the car very unpleasant to use.
I had placed a protective cover on my back seat for my dog, but when I returned, it had been removed and left dirty from muddy shoes. Additionally, I noticed that a pack of cigarettes I had left in the car was missing, along with a deodorant.
This experience was unacceptable and far below the standard I expected when leaving my car in car park.

They stole from my car!!

My car was parked for two weeks at Gatwick short stay car park. Despite me calling them from abroad, I was reassured my car had been moved to a secure location. It was not. On the morning of my return, the car was moved to just outside the airport. A few hours later it was returned to the short stay car park.
Due to the fact the car was returned early, I incurred a £20 parking fee. Most disturbing was that the operators had stolen a purse with change which I keep in the glove compartment for parking. There was approx £25 worth of change. When I called to complain they blocked my number. I tried to call the main number, to find out that it no longer connects.
Be aware, these operators are thieves and unreliable. Pay that little extra and go with a trust worth operator.

Wait and wait

I recently had a frustrating experience with this car service at Gatwick. Upon arrival, I called ahead to confirm my estimated time of arrival, but was still forced to wait 30 minutes for someone to meet me. Given the tight connection to my flight, this was incredibly stressful. To make matters worse, after a long and tiring journey, I then had to wait a further 60 minutes to collect my vehicle. The whole experience felt like a test of patience, with wait times far exceeding what I was expecting. Unless you're fond of waiting around, I'd strongly advise considering alternative services. Definitely not worth the hassle, especially considering it was billed as a meet and greet

Awful service

Terrible service and a long wait for your car to be returned.

When we arrived at the airport communication was poor and the driver didn’t know our details or have any paperwork, this left us nervous dropping off our car to effectively a random bloke and just his word he worked for Fly Away.

On our return we called as soon as we landed but had to wait an hour for the car to arrive and it was filthy and covered in mud.

The driver when questioned about his lateness and the condition of the vehicle simply shrugged. A rubbish service, we will NOT use them again.

Shocking attitude and phone manor

We phoned half an hour before like we was asked too we then waited another 30 minutes at car park six level 5 with two children aged 6 and 7 who had just taken a 2 hour drive we all needed to use the toilet so i called and was told 7-8 minutes then after that i called again and was told they was coming there was traffic when i explained id paid for a service they was not providing with that he just hung up the phone on me …… on arrival back to the uk i rang at baggage claim like was suggested only to be told it would take 40 minutes for the car to be there again met with an aggressive and rude phone manor … with two children late at night was not great when i got in my car the petrol was all down to the last 10 miles have no idea where they took the car to park but certainly shouldn't of used all my petrol had over 50 miles in the car ….. overall a terrible service and experience will not be using again or recommending to anyone else.

Terrible experience DONT USE

As said I contacted them ON THE PLANE when I just landed and was allowed to use phones to say we have landed and that we are at NORTH terminal. I arrived at the suggested spot for north terminal after a waiting over an hour. I call to firstly be told they have sent the wrong car to then be called they are waiting at the south terminal and you would need to go there. If I don’t I would have to wait another 45 minutes. Even though I told them prior and it was on my application I will be landing in North Terminal not South. I had to pay more fees as they were waiting much much longer in the car park area. Even the driver said I should complain. I also get in the car to find empty cigarette packaging on the floor and my car smelling of smoke. I’ve never experienced such a terrible experience before. DON’T USE! I’ve filed a complaint demanding my money pack at first being offered 20% after refusing they’ve stop responding to me.

Absolutely horrendous service

Absolutely horrendous service! Avoid at all costs. Despite calling them one hour in advance, my car arrived two hours late. And to top it off, they have the audacity to blame me for not calling 30 minutes beforehand, even though I have evidence that I did. Unbelievable!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Not only do there ignore calls they take HOURS AND HOURS TO pick up your car and return it. I was a few minutes late they said they needed £20 extra or they won’t give us our car after we landed. We landed at 12am they didn’t return our call until 2:30 a.m., now we have £100 fine now from the NCP when our car was supposed to be in their hands whilst we was on holiday in Greece, I strongly advise not to use this company they are unbelievably bad and so rude they don’t care about their customers especially when you’re tired from a long flight and it’s the middle of the night and you just want to go home not wait around the airport for 2 1/2 hours.. never again I wish I knew how bad they were or I would never use them so now we have a big parking fine when they were supposed to be keeping our car safe and secure disgusting Company I’m so angry at this company.. please please please don’t use them

The car was filthy when returned, to be then asked for a tip

Where do i start.. so we paid for the service where we was asked to drop the car off in a car park, but then asked to pay for the ticket. a bit strange i thought as we had already paid for parking. any way we returned yesterday to pick the car up and again asked to meat in the carpark. when the car arrived we where ferry upset due to the state it was returned in. i don't know where it was parked but the complete car was sticky. covered in leaves and debris. when then said to the delivery driver about the state of the car. he replied not my problem i just pick up and drop off. if you want to make a complanate then contact the office. to make this worse he then asked for a tip. he followed us around for ten minuets as we was loading the car and sorting the ticket. i looked at him again and asked if i can help him. he then replied again. where is my tip.hummmm. we found a hand car wash a few miles down the road. even they did not know what was all over the car. it tock them 40 minuets to clean. we phoned customer services today to cancel are upcoming bookings with them to then be told we must email a different team ?? they where not intrusted.

i will never use this company again.... happy to share photos and video
