First mortgage were excellent from start to finish. Would recommend them as a service, particularly for first time buyers. Kevin was excellent at the start, clearly outlining the mortgage process, offered great advice and was so quick to respond to requests throughout! Helen was also excellent, she responded to all our requests quickly and was so helpful at explaining things in detail (important for first time buyers who do not fully understand all the processes). Both of them were so friendly and they made the whole process a whole lot stressful. Would really recommend first mortgage and we appreciate all your help! The fact that all this advice does not come at a cost to the customer is unbelievable. 5 stars for this company and to Kevin and Helen.

Another very positive experience with First Mortgage in Musselburgh. Lyndsey makes the process so easy, is so knowledgeable and so easy to work with. Rebecca is also very quick to come back with anything they require to keep the process moving. Would always recommend!

I cannot recommend first mortgage enough. My experience was first class from start to finish. Scott and Anna in the Corstorphine branch kept me informed at all stages, did the heavy lifting and made the process far simpler than I was expecting. Scott is very patient and checked my understanding throughout the journey. There is a reason that First mortgage's reputation is so good, they care about helping and getting you into your new home.

From booking the initial appointment to discuss our options, meeting with Morgan to go through our decision in principle and application and now receiving our mortgage offer. Everyone at first mortgages Kirkcaldy have been so helpful and professional especially Morgan and Kia who have kept us right every step of the way. As first home buyers we were clueless about where to start but the girls were and still are absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much to you both, you’re truly both a credit to the business!

Me and my partner are first time buyers and decided to go to first mortgage for some advice. We met with Charlie Peck who sat us down and settled our nerves by explaining everything we could possibly need to know. He helped us through the full process without any issues at all, helped by Fran Graham who was also great. When they were unavailable due to annual leave, Mark Burdis stepped in and helped us out too. Every member of staff we dealt with were great and we couldn’t thank them all enough for getting us into our new home.
