Maybe I’m naive to the world we live in nowadays or maybe I expected too much but I paid £95 on Saturday after a year of constant back and forth with NHS about a cyst on my face. I receive an email back today which told me to try book into Alexandra Hospital and terminology used stated “it looks funny” I just expected so much more than to be told what I already knew. I could have just booked an appointment privately and saved my self the £100 but we live and learn. The secretary I spoke to was understanding and explained but extremely dissatisfied and feels like wasted a lot of money to be told absolutely nothing new.

Five stars from us
I wanted to bypass the ridiculously long nhs waiting list for my husband.
It was a seamless process, informed at every stage and quick turnaround.
We thought the report was very clear . We could have decided to get the GP to generate the prescription but we chose to pay for the medication to be dispensed by the pharmacy attached to the website; it was delivered within two or three days. We both think it was good value and wouldn't hesitate to use it again. Thank you

Awful looks like AI is doing your consultation. I have a daughter with really bad eczma and multiple GP visits so thought give this guy a shot but he literally prescribed me the same cream as gp which i mentioned in my consultation notes!!! And also charged me 75£ and 45£ for what i got from gp free absolutly disgusting

Wrong diagnosis
I posted a picture of a rash I experienced on my face. A day later they told me it was acne and gave me treatments for acne. My dad insisted on calling a doctor and turns out I have shingles, and throwing things on for acne did absolutely nothing. Now I am experiencing a lot of pain and I am not sure if we started with antiviral in time. I just wasted 60 euros on a diagnosis which was wrong.
Fantastic service
Would definitely recommend this service! I had a minor issue with the details I provided which was resolved promptly after contacting. I got a detailed report within three days (skin has improved massively). Very helpful overall.
An outstanding doctor

A quick and convenient method of…
A quick and convenient method of consultation that appears to be aimed primarily at new patients. It produced a satisfactory result at considerable less cost than a face-to-face consultation. The resulting report followed a generic pattern, adjusted to the patient's particular condition. The initial questionnaire should include an unambiguous question whether one is a new or returning client (the latter with a new or follow-up condition) and reference made to this in the report.

Speedy efficient response with clear instructions as to treatment. This is the second time we have used this service. Happy on both occasions
Highly recommended modern approach to dispensing medical advice.
I have previously had a small lesion removed by Dr Ashworth. It speaks for itself that I reverted to him about some concerns I had about some other lesions. I paid for the on line service by submitting some photographs. He replied (on a Sunday!) with a comprehensive report. All this within a matter of days. It is a shame that the NHS is mired in systemic problems that prevent anything remotely approaching this kind of service which clinicians like Dr Ashworth are clearly able to provide. Needless to say, I would recommend Dr Ashworth and am an advocate of his “see him in person” or “send a photo and we’ll tell you what to do” approach. Quick and efficient dispensing of medical advice from which others could learn.
