I spent 27 and half years as delivery…

I spent 27 and half years as delivery driver for this company and even moved with them when they relocated from Wandsworth to current location.Throughout this time they have never shown any respect or empathy around anything, even when we have lost family members or been ill ourselves.I consider I gave them honest and hard work during that time and feel all to no avail. They were just the same to a lot of loyal customers as well and weren't honest enough to pay any bonuses that were outstanding. They were all just out for their own personal gains and rewards.I am so glad I am away from there now. What a waste of years.

There is no consistancy with this company

They alway mess up order either giving us too much stuff (that was never ordered) to where we have to throw away or insufficient amount ( missing items from order),they also never give a delivery sheet to say what was delivered. They never stick to the order, they slap shit in there and call it a day. And the prodcuts suck ass

WASTE OF TIME

Another day, another waste of my time. I paid by card, the driver arrived early, I was not there and asked my staff for cash. Complete waste of time trying to chase to get my money back. They completely unable to take a card payment even with a website, they send deliveries out when they do not have customer service lines. I will buy pastries from RANSON, nice people and they mess with their customeres.

A Toxic Workplace: Lack of Management and Mismanagement

Working for a company that lacks proper management can be one of the most frustrating and demotivating experiences. When unqualified individuals are placed in management positions, it often creates chaos, inefficiency, and a toxic work environment. This is especially true in organizations where micromanagement becomes the default approach to compensate for leadership's lack of direction or skill.

At this company, there's a clear absence of competent leadership. Instead of empowering employees and fostering growth, the management seems to consist of individuals who lack the necessary skills or understanding to lead effectively. Decisions are made without proper thought or strategy, creating confusion and low morale among the team.

To make matters worse, micromanagement is rampant. Employees are constantly scrutinized and controlled, leaving little room for creativity or independent problem-solving. This environment stifles innovation and leaves workers feeling undervalued and disrespected. Instead of being trusted to do their jobs, employees are treated as though they need constant supervision, which only adds to the overall sense of dissatisfaction.

The result? High turnover, low engagement, and a workplace that feels more like a chore than a place of opportunity. Until this company takes a hard look at its leadership structure and approach, it will continue to be a place that struggles to retain talent and deliver results.
