My Mum had held a funeral plan she purchased 30 years ago. When she sadly passed we had an appointment to siscuss what was in the plan, whilst there we were asked if we wanted a finger print done and if we wanted a lock pf hair. We agreed to both and ordered 6 finger prints to be taken and 6 loxks of hair for family members. The plan had her death announcement to go into the local paper. Not beong familiar woth this situation we assumed that they would do the necessary. The funwral date was set all paperwork filed and i visited Mum on 2 seperate occasions. It was never mentioned about her death announcement till we realised it hadnt gone into the paper the week bedore the funeral, only to be told you didnt tell us whqt you wanted putting in. Samples were not taken of a finger print till the day before the funeral and then only 2 fingwr prints taken . It is an upsetting time when you loose a loved parent and the plan my Mum bought she believed would make life easier for us at that time. I was so angry at the time as these were things i hadnt asked for initially but had been offered and then not given. This is a rime to remwmber and celebrate a loved one no to be mithering trying to get things promised done.I am very upset about it not beong put in the paper this is onw of my Mums wishes that was not fullfilled and it breaks my heart as people who knew her didnt find out till afterwards.
Saltash Branch. At such a traumatic time as arranging a funeral, the people in Saltash, in particular Michala, could not have been more caring, guiding me through the processes. Nothing was any trouble.
On the day of the funeral, my funeral director, Charlotte again such care and respect of my late husband, me and my family and friends. On the drive to the crematorium we were accompanied by an escort of cars, our chauffeurse made sure that everyone stayed together.
The celebrant, Emma, conducted the service so beautifully, it all went so smoothly.
I asked that I should be on my own for the last few minutes. Charlotte and the other ushers gently guided other family members and friends away from the chapel, guarding me too. That enabled me to say my final goodbyes in privacy and peace.
A heartfelt thank you from myself and my family.

Hugely disappointed with the totality.
I am a 70 year old man who decided to make plans for my eventual demise.
I set up a plan and apparently deeply contained within the paperwork were the usuary costs.
Coop claim instalments plans cost them money, yet they have my money for years and have the ability to invest it thus earn more money than the minimal costs of pressing a few buttons to set it up.
If I don’t approve I can end the policy, I will lose my £443 fees plus an extra charge of £125.
This company is NOT there for its members unless it’s to bleed them dry!
Claire was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and guided us through the process with great patience. She was very easy to talk to and made the whole experience a pleasant one.
I would recommend the service to anyone thinking of taking out a funeral plan.

It was fun as well as efficient - no reason why the experience should be grisly despite the objective of the meeting.

We called having already decided on the funeral option we required, however, the Co-op representative was very helpful and informative and talked us through the different options to ensure that we had made the right choice for us. The whole process was made very easy.
The only negative is that while we requested our documents to be sent through the post rather than via email, I would still have expected an email confirmation of our purchase having paid the full amount up front. The first contact received was an email requesting an online review.
Rang to arrange an appointment to organise a funeral plan. They were supposed to call back within 48 hours. But did not. They rang back 7 days after my call. However when we went to the appointment the staff were brilliant very friendly and helpful. Kayleigh who organised our plan was great. She went through everything explaining all the different choices. Everything was so easy and we received our plans within 4 days. Brilliant service thanks.
Not my first time organising a funeral plan , but a first for myself. Lynn, our assigned agent, was most helpful & turned what could have been a dour experience into a pleasant one. In her professional & friendly manner, she explained the available plans in a timely manner and helped me determine which was most appropriate. And a nice coffee too. I much appreciated everyone's help

It was just the lady who dealt with me, made my experience if i was going co-op for a packet of rich tea biscuits.it was a shame I didn't take some with me when I went for my funeral plan, as the Lov'ly Lady who done my plan offered me a hot drink straight away.I felt Very comfortable the whole time I was dealing with my plan.

Catherine at Middleton was really helpful from the very start, and helped us sort everything out with no fuss or hassle. All staff were professional, courteous and friendly. They went out of their way to go the extra mile and give a personal service which we really appreciated, and really helped make everything as smooth as possible at difficult time.

Everything was so easy to do and the customer service was second to none.
I have bought a plan that suits my needs and requirements at a very reasonable price. This gives me peace of mind knowing that nobody has to be left to deal with all the necessary arrangements following my death.
