Cicar/Cabrera Medina provide an excellent service in our experience. Very relaxed but also efficient.
Cars are well presented.

Pick up was really easy and the quality of the car was excellent. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars was drop of was tricky as there was a lack of parking spaces to leave the car in at the drop off point.

Good selection of vehicles and I got a great price in the sale. Vehicle was in great condition and I had no issues with it during the hire period. Prompt service at pick up and return, I will use Cigar again on my next visit

Easy to book, no pressure selling. No deposit. Delivered to hotel at requested time. Issue that developed on first vehicle was dealt with very quickly and efficiently by Silvia in Los Gigantes office. Will use in future. No hesitation in recommending.

Terribly disappointing, we waited in line for an hour and a half only to find out they cancelled the reservation without any prior notice. Ridiculous service, the service ‘man’ was rude. Will never use again.

If the devil himself had a car rental it would be Cicar, if you want to start your vacation with waiting for three hours to get the wrong car, the wrong transmission and angry employees who yells at you for not doing their job you have found it.

Everything was perfect and easy. And i realy loved our car Cupra.

Great prices (we booked 2 month before arrival) and new cars. We had peugeot 3008 from 2025. Good tip. If you wanna visit Gran Canaria always take a automat! We payed before in the app then we only pick up the keys and show drivers license. Nice and smooth!

The first car we got had a noise when braking, which got worse as we drove away. The staff in the parking garage in Las Palmas were, as always, very service-minded and changed for us. The car was dirty and smelled strongly of smoke and was not a good experience. We honestly couldn't bear to change cars again and chose to keep it for another week. In general, the cars are very often not clean. Windshield washer fluid is very rarely filled, so you have to do that yourself. We have rented over 150 cars, but have rarely felt like valued loyal customers. So we are there for the price, which is reasonable, but also rapidly increasing.

CICAR make car hire a very simple and stress free process. Above all they trust the customer, no deposits, if you bring the car back full of fuel, you just tell them and the deposit is returned in seconds, no excessive waiting times to pick up the car and then been charged a surcharge for picking it up late, no expensive add on scams.
All round very easy to deal with, we have used the others in Tenerife Airport and they are not in the same league.

Very quick & easy to collect pre-booked car from the airport. Car was in excellent condition and had full comprehensive insurance included. Car was also easy to return to the airport

Cicar is not only the best car rental company in Tenerife but in the world. I've travelled a lot and they are not only the best priced but the least hassle and most flexible from everything to extra driver and no hidden extra insurance costs etc.. everything is transparent and upfront. If you ever hire from cicar, the only thing you'll ever think after that is why do all of the other ones suck.
