I did a lot of research before approaching BFP for pension advice and they certainly live up to their 5 star rating. Very helpful, thoughtful and they listen carefully and provide good support and advice by sharing their views and insights without any pressure. I would certainly recommend them as someone who should be considered and in particular David Parker who has been extremely helpful and patient in helping me on my journey.

There is always a detailed breakdown of my investments in addition to a healthy discussion about the previous year and the years ahead.

Having been a customer for some years now I have always had a fantastic service from BFP. Always courteous and quick to reply, knowledgeable with very good advice. My pension has recently been transferred to a different administration and they have kept me fully up to date with the progress from start to completion. I had approached a number of companies prior to contacting Burfield to get pension advice. I rejected them all as I felt the service wasn’t personalised to my requirements and I doubted whether I would get value for money. I was introduced to Burfield by a friend. I called them to explain how I felt about poor experience with other companies and found that they were entirely understanding of my point of view and willing to help me see what value they could add to my pension requirements before asking me for any fees. My main challenge was how to manage the funds from two legacy defined contribution schemes alongside a current scheme. I had several meetings with David Parker about my retirement aims and how best to meet them. David was approachable and friendly. He patiently listened to me. He presented the range of options available to me including some I hadn’t considered. One of the options I hadn’t considered turned out to be the best option for me. Everything was documented in detail and explained when I wasn’t clear. I was given all the time and space I needed to make my decision on what I wanted to do. David then detailed the whole transaction process to me and the team at Burfield kept me updated on progress with the transaction. I am delighted with the process of dealing with Burfield, and the outcome. I became comfortable with the fees charged and at the end of the process I was happy that they represented value for money when I look at the outcome achieved. I am delighted that Burfield were suggested to me as a company who can provide expert and friendly advice and pension purchasing services. David was a great person to deal with and should I need further pension guidance in the future I will be using Burfield .

Great online correspondence and yearly call is excellent

Having an On going relationship with the same advisor makes things much easier as they understand the needs and requirements I have. In between reviews the company is always quick to respond to messages on the portal and I like the news updates which I receive on email which I find useful and informative.

Ashley is always very helpful and explains everything clearly. They are a friendly company with good communication and excellent customer service.

As per all review meetings with Burfield, again the service received from Ashley was excellent. Friendly and helpful goes without saying. Ashley's knowledge is second to none, clearly he spent a considerable amount of time researching mine and my wife's requirements in retirement. Not only aware of the market and sector benchmarks and trends, but he knows his customer. This was demonstrated in that he answered all my pre-meeting questions, in his own presentation. Further, I had an issue with tax, and this also was explained and resolved. The office was clean and tidy, a very pleasant environment.
