I was charged $60.10 when l did not subscribe to anything. BASKETTOP are scammers and should not be allowed to advertise on face book.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! You buy a product from them and then they sign you up for a subscription that they don’t tell you about but it’s apparently in their T&Cs?!

I ordered a garlic crusher. It was advertised at $9.99NZ dollars. came out of my bank a/c at $24US Dollars. Also a US charge for $66Us dollars for a subscription I didn't want or need. No communication, no emails, nothing. I contacted my bank, had blocked my card but they kept trying to take money out. Dodgy as hell company... Scammers... P.S Garlic crusher has arrived.....Stay away from these guys. very articulate emails from them justifying what they've done...

Do not buy from these guys it's a scam.i ordered a car polish that I never received I got charged 39 Aus dollars .on top of that they slugged me with a subscription 69 Aus dollars without my concent .they should be removed from google.thry should cancel my subscription immediately.constantine.AUS

This is a scam company. They will charge you for their product and never send it. Furthermore, they will sign you up to a hidden monthly subscription. My advice is that, if you have purchased any product, call your bank immediately and block the card from which you made the purchase.

I purchased 2x garlic crushers, they still have not arrived. They were not advertised in US dollars which I was charged for. My bad I guess. Then I get charged for a membership I never agreed to, nor have I received any email communication about this. They refuse to refund the membership fee but have now agreed to cancel it. That is big of them.

14/2/2024- update, just heard from bank, they will be reversing these transactions. I feel very lucky, I won’t be in hurry to shop online again.

They just took money out of our account and we don’t even know who they are. Somehow got my wife’s card number!

I saw a pair of slip on shoes advertised on the facebook platform advertised in NZD but charged in USD and charged a subscription fee. None of this is supported by any documentation or emails. A month later the shoes arrive but the wrong size. Also the subscription is now a monthly fee of $65.00 for a pair of slipon worth $29.00. So a total charge of $180.00 for a pair of slipons. No place to complain or cancel subscription. So have to cancel the credit card. Facebook should take some responsibilty I feel.

I bought an item on 11 December 2023 from Facebook Market Place. It was advertised in Australian dollars, but charged to my account in US dollars. Waited for the tracking number, but none came, checked the email address of the company, fake email. Finally, an item arrived a few days before Xmas. When checking my bank account on 11 January, I found another amount (USD39.47) withdrawn on the 10th of January unauthorized. The card has now been cancelled. Scam company. Thieves

Looks like I have been scammed too. After seeing their add for a car polish in leading website's for over 12 months I decided to purchase this morning. I was promised a receipt and shipping details would be sent immediately. Naturally nothing arrived however the money was taken from my bank. Bank person tells me nothing they can do, I need to take close watch to see they don't drain account. My question is, How can a company keep defrauding people over a long period and still be allowed to keep advertising on major web sites?

If I could give baskettop.com no stars I would. I brought a product which I never received. They also have a sneaky subscription plan that gets put into place when you purchase something. I found out about it by mistake and cancelled the subscription before the end of the 7 day 'free trial period' (after 2 days, to be exact). They still took the 'subscription' amount out of my account a week later. When I complained and asked for it to be refunded they said I hadn't cancelled in time, which is utter bull. Don't trust them and DON'T buy from them. It's just a con!

Scammers. They sign you to a subscription when you buy a product and take money without you knowing. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Looks like I was suckered by these scammers just like everyone else here. Bought a simple car scratch sponge kit from a FB ad and didn't do any research on the vendor before buying with CC. Now 3 transactions later I finally notice all the highway robbery on my CC statement. They tell you that you accepted T&C's for a subscription service when you made the initial purchase but that is nonesense. Total scammers ... steer clear at all costs.

A total ripoff. Had to cancel my credit card after a second transaction was taken out without authorisation. I expect I won't get my product either.

Ordered creme of the internet , no creme received, two payments taken out!! Spoke to someone on their chat line . Feed me a load of bull about membership and 18 days free trail. It had only been not quite 7 days since ordering and I received no email about membership. Canceled card !
Would never deal with these people again and I will tell my friends and family not too.
