Scam!! Hidden in the fine print is that along with your mop, you will get a “free” 7 day subscription to something then immediately you are charged $39.47 USD and you’ll keep getting billed if you don’t call and unsubscribe.

Wishing had seen these reviews before I ordered. Ordered a mop and paid my £14.99. Didn't receive the mop but they did take a £49.99 subscription fee 9 days later. I never subscribed as a member, just placed an order and at no point ticked the box to subscribe. Disgusting company and obviously very good with their online chat. I asked them to send proof of me ticking the box but they said they could not. Instagram should be protecting us from parasites like this and refusing to let them advertise on their platform

Scammed. My friend has one of the mops she bought from somewhere else with the bucket...however I didn't need the bucket therefore just bought the mop from these responding to an advert on Instagram.
The money was taken from my card but I received no confirmation and my mop never arrived. Luckily I paid on my credit card.
Avoid this company at all costs. I really feel like Instagram should stop allowing them to advertise on their platform!

Absolute scam! I bought some underwear online for $29.99USD in October 23. I have only just noticed that I have been billed for $62.47AUD every month since for some supposed dodgy subscription that was not made clear when I purchased items for a total of $29.99USD - thinking it was once-only!

Why can’t banks send us an alert when automatic payments are set up on our accounts?

Surely that safety feature could be built in to the banking system and would not be too hard?

Like everyone else it seems. I became a member or subscriber without requesting.
No information given just random charges, unable to contact and no reply to my emails requesting cancellation and refunds.
Do not go anywhere near this company.

Scammers the thieves billed me USA dollars no confirmation and afterwards were going to bill me without me knowing USA $50 month unless I opt out but they don't return emails I have had to cancel my card thanks to these parasites
Any colourful video type promo's don't touch This is the second time I have been ripped off

Purchased a bag and they’ve charged me $80 AUD two weeks later. I didn’t get an order confirmation email with my original purchase. Cancelled my card so they won’t charge me further and have reported them for fraud.

How can I cancel this company so as to stop taking money out off my account

I purchased an item from this firm on 1/3/24 and did not receive an email to confirm my order or to give me a tracking number or estimated delivery date. Then now they have requested almost £40 from my bank which I did not authorise a subscription to thus company. Unable to contact company. BEWARE

I write this in the hope to save others from the hidden membership fee that is apparently in their Terms and Conditions. Apparently when you place an order with Baskettop.com, you should receive a confirming email that informs you of your log in details and you are advised to select whether you want to opt in or out from the membership. I never received this initial email, but I did receive an order confirmation with my log in details listed on it, but nowhere on the order confirmation does it mention anything to do with membership and its monthly fee. No invoice is sent either. As I was not aware of the monthly membership fee I was surprised to see subsequent debits from my account. On enquiry, the response has been emphatic - you did not opt out of the membership. Another important point is that the company advertised the shoes on Facebook stating they are Wellington based. As I live in NZ, this was ideal. However this is not the case. According to their Order Confirmation their telephone number is UK based and they deduct from your account in USD. Make wise choices, all the very best.

I ordered the makeup through this company. They took the payment out in USD $ instead of the dollar amount stated. Then they took another payment out of my account for double the original amount, which I never authorised. I still have not received the product I ordered.
I would strongly suggest that no one order anything through this company. They are quite clearly scammers. 0 stars for this company.

This company is a scam. Please read all the reviews on here, not their site, before you purchase anything. I wish I had. You think you are paying in Aud but you are paying in US. You only find out once the money has come out of your account.i have closed my account and raised a dispute with the bank after reading these reviews.i don’t expect to see what I purchased. FB has a lot to answer for. Buyer beware

Purchased make up online from Baskettop.com - mushroom head air cushion cc cream - appeared as AUD, charged USD, and now find based in Nicosia, Cyprus. The one-off payment went thru then 2 days later they attempted a further $ amount double the initial figure, then a week later another. Bank declined both.
My order status today says ‘completed & delivered’ = Not! Scam. AVOID! This was my review a few days after purchasing.
Follow up: The makeup arrived, and I love it! HOWEVER,
There have been 4 more attempts to take money off my now closed credit card - this is all within less than one month! And each appears as declined notification.
The parcel arrived with basket top as sender - a port Melbourne address but no business name. All very SUSS!

This company is a big scam. Please stay away from them if you don't want your credit card to get charged for no reason. I bought a magic mop which was priced ar $14.99. I was charged US dollars and I payed $21CAD. It didn't end there. After a week or so my card was charged for additional $55.00 which I didn't know what was for. I called the credit card company and I was told that I have been enrolled in a some kind of a membership I wasn't aware for. I was also told that this is going to be a recurring charge of $55.00 every month. I then emailed baskettop and they claimed that the charge is legit and it's my fault I didn't see it. Big big scam, and I feel really disappointed I fell for it. I now have to cancel my existing card so I don't continue getting charged.

I ordered a nano coat scratch master spray on the 20 Feb 24. I was given a link to track the package and noticed straight away that the status was delivered. The cost was $19.99 Aud but they charged me in USD. I sent an email quering what I saw and they said the delivery was on its way. The ink I was given to track the package no longer accepts my login, I have since received a further charge of $60.43 which I never agreed to. This company is clearly made up of fraudsters.

While looking through my credit card statement, I noted the name Basketop.com Nicosia CYP with a charge of Aus$30.44 late January 2024. I have had previous these charges from this company, as well as other charges from companies I have never heard of. My bank fixed every thing up by getting a refund for me and blocking them. I had to change my credit card for a new one.
I can only say, don't even look at these companies.

I contacted my bank, had blocked my card but they kept trying to take money out. Dodgy as hell company... Scammers... P.S Garlic crusher has arrived.....Stay away from these guys. very articulate emails from them justifying what they've done...

If I could give no star I would. Was charged in American dollars but did not state on the Ad. The instructions are almost non existent and not even sure if it is goindg to work. will never trade with them again.
