Initial conversation on the phone with…

Initial conversation on the phone with head office was very positive and polite and helpful and explained what happens with all the information that we require from directions to clothing changes and the process for the time we are there . Head office also explained it’s a £50 refundable deposit when you turn up with pictures being £50 each and the more you buy the better the bundle deal which sounds great 👍🏼 and bundles will be offered.
The stylist greeted myself and my daughter all went well with the hair & makeup and we’re all friendly and helpful although there were other children male & female up to the ages of 16 roaming around the changing room area which I thought could have been separated.The clothes we brought with us weren’t hung up on a rail and just left in our bags and no-one offered to go through our selections of clothes apart from myself handing the clothes over to the makeup& hair artist for each picture shoot.
We thought the stylist would go through everything we brought do get an idea of my daughters personality and style.
My daughter had four changes which looked nice and changes of hair style with each look
all seemed good so far.
We left for an hour so the photos could be developed then arrived back to go through the images. The lady going through the photos , we felt was quite cold and abrupt and business not what we were expecting.
We sat down looking at a screen full of amateur photos which were raw and not edited which was very disappointing, I could have taken better photos with my Iphone16.
Then the price was mentioned that the minimum order was 10 images at £500 no less or an option to pay higher from £1500-£5000.
Our jaws dropped with how much they were asking for these photos. Each bundle offered you different support opportunities.
We saw 5 photos we liked out of 84.
The back drops clashed with the clothes and the poses didn’t look right with the outfits and body positioning was laughable for my daughters age. There was one outfit that looked good being outdoors and sporty,other wise It didn’t seem high end photography.
We came away leaving with no image, disheartened and deflated after travelling and looking forward to taking a few photos home to keep.
As a customer a polite suggestion
Offer:
£50 for one image
£150 for three
£300 for five images
So customers have affordable options.
2,Advertise your bundles on your website and head office lets us customers choose if we want to pay £500 to start with.
3,Make the experience a bit more personal with your own cubicle and clothes rail and help with styling the outfits.
4,Not mixed genders together.
5,One image allowed to be taken home Instead of the £50 refund.
6, Hold the images for 7 days until clients make a decision at home what they want to order put images on a paper to take home show family and friends.Don't delete the images after we’ve left until a decision is made.
A clearer explanation would have been helpful from head office and other price options could have completely changed this experience for us.

We’re sorry to hear that other aspects of your visit did not meet your expectations, and we’d like to take the opportunity to clarify a few important points.

At UK Models, we aim to be as transparent as possible. Our pricing structure, including the deposit and package options, is outlined in our terms and conditions and in the information sent prior to your appointment. We do not operate as a pay-per-photo or makeover-style studio, and therefore we do not offer single-image purchases. Our minimum package starts from 10 images, as this is the level we believe is required to provide a meaningful portfolio for aspiring models, along with the additional support options included within our packages.

During the viewing session, all images are shown in their raw (unedited) format. This is standard practice within the industry, as final selected images are professionally retouched after purchase.

We’re sorry to hear that you felt the viewing experience was not as warm as expected — this is certainly not the impression we aim to give, and your feedback will be taken on board.

In terms of the studio environment, we do advise clients to attend with a maximum of one or two guests to ensure a comfortable and organised experience. We also appreciate your feedback regarding changing areas and styling support, and we will review this internally.

With regards to taking images away or holding them after the session, unfortunately this is not something we offer, and this is clearly outlined prior to attendance. All decisions are made on the day as part of our process.

We do appreciate your suggestions and feedback, and we’re sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations on this occasion.

Always great communication with…yes always..

Always great communication with Anchorage Chambers. Very supportive and friendly team.
I have dealt with Murtaz and he has been very helpful indeed very knowledgeable and very patient and kind.
