Absolutely appalling

Absolutely appalling. Avoid at ALL costs.

No toilet for a month. Shower tray leak. Appalling finish. Threats from installer to “sign off” so he could get paid. No rectification for months (with a leak!). £500 “compensation” after 5 months of hell. Go straight to pre-action letter & then your credit card company/s 75 bank complaint. They are a bunch of cowboys with a broken system

The “customer services” reps on here giving standard responses can go away.

Just don’t use them

Bathroom refit

Bathroom refit. Fine instore design. Appalling problems with delays, wrong products delivered & damaged. Fitter over a week late starting because Wickes had sent wrong items to previous job. Wickes had delivered wrong appliance to me so fitter returned it for refund & I bought replacement from a business rival (Wickes might want to note Screwfix are better). Toilet & lid damaged. Missing Allen key screw for shower bar. Customer Co-Ordinator couldn’t arrange new toilet delivery on his system & proposed a delayed delivery of 21 Dec (he said he’d try to source it from a depot). His tone was not helpful. I was made to feel unreasonable in suggesting they should courier new items at their own expense. I asked who complaints would be made to & he said him in the first instance.

I very much urge people not to use this company for a refit. Very, very poor customer service. I am in my 70s and have found it appalling. Even B&Q aren’t this bad

If a Wickes person is reading this, my order number is included. You could salvage a little of my respect by contacting me with your apologies and a refund gesture for my inconvenience & disruption

I see the Wickes person has replied on here. I have provided my order number- what else do you need?
