Uncaring customer service

Placed an order incorrectly, as I added the EXPRESSDEL code for free express delivery. Only to check out and realised that the order was still selected as standard delivery.
Contacted customer service to amend/cancel to place the correct order and was told it is not possible.
I was told to refuse delivery and it would be sent back, however the delivery driver by the company dropped the package outside my door.
Contacted customer service for a free returns label given this case, and was told it is declined and I should have refused delivery… although advised that I did not have that opportunity due to their delivery driver.
Overall, very negative and upsetting experience with Debenhams. I really exp ted more from such a company as this.

Avoid avoid avoid

Avoid avoid avoid!

Lots of scammers on there. I loss a lab diamond bracelet worth £600 on there. Sold for a person who stated it was counterfeit, upon reviewing her image I realised she posted a photo of a different bracelet to the one I sold her. Vinted allowed her to return to me and although I have stated and spoken to Vinted about this for over 2 months, nothing was done. All documents requested to show authenticity was sent. The person scammed me and I lost £600. I have never ordered there again and never will. I would say avoid as there are too many scammers on there. I prefer Farfetch or Vestiaire. (P.s. Vinted offered me £50 to make up for the £600 which I lost like that means anything.. this demonstrates their error and that they did know they were wrong).

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would! I would definitely not be purchasing from this retailer anymore.
I placed an order, and used my £5 points on this order. Unfortunately, I requested to return the order as I realised the wrong item was ordered. The order was not opened, box in original condition, and sent this back via postage shortly after. I received a refund of the item but not the points. Their points system is not the best, not only is it hard to attain enough points to use a reward, but points was not returned to my rewards earns when the item was returned. Their website stated full refund to be sent excluding 3.99 delivery. But this was not true. I received a refund and not the £5 that I used with my points. Their customer service is also the worse I’ve seen. Not customer care empathy or courtesy. It was like being penalised for returning the item which was not even opened or used.

To clarify, your refund was processed in line with our stated returns and loyalty policy. The £5 used on your order was a loyalty reward redeemed using points, and refunds are issued for the amount paid after any rewards or discounts have been applied. Loyalty rewards are considered redeemed at the point of use and aren’t automatically reinstated following a return, which is standard across most loyalty programmes.

Our website states that refunds are issued excluding delivery charges, which was applied correctly in this case.

We understand that returns can be frustrating, and we always aim to handle them fairly and consistently for all customers. While we’re sorry this outcome wasn’t what you had hoped for, we did process your return in accordance with our policies.

If I can give zero stars I would.
This is not a platform I will continue to use. Customer service is the worst I’ve ever seen. No protector for sellers especially for luxury items, multiple scammers on there, damaged returns sent and you have lost your money, counterfeit items returned- money lost. The worst experience I have received and wish I never used this platform at all.

My advise- do not sell anything on there of high value- as you most likely will be at a loss. Customer service doesn’t help, or care.

Terrible experience

Terrible service received. I am both appalled and disappointed. If I was able to give zero stars, I would.
I ordered some vitamins (from the uk) and had such a bad reaction. After contacting they suggested to return the order for a refund. After realising that it costs minimum £45 to return to the US, I requested a return label and was declined. It has been almost a month now going back and forth via emails , being passed on from one assistant to another only to be told they can’t sent the label after very well explaining that I am unable to return. I also explained that I am happy for this to be deducted from my refund about and I’m happy to receive store credit, I just need to have a label to return these back to you. Because if my health I will have to source the vitamins I need elsewhere as the customer service is very long, not understanding and not kind. There is no empathy there- sadly. P.s. I spent over £100 on these vitamins which I can’t consume.
