Uncaring customer service
Placed an order incorrectly, as I added the EXPRESSDEL code for free express delivery. Only to check out and realised that the order was still selected as standard delivery.
Contacted customer service to amend/cancel to place the correct order and was told it is not possible.
I was told to refuse delivery and it would be sent back, however the delivery driver by the company dropped the package outside my door.
Contacted customer service for a free returns label given this case, and was told it is declined and I should have refused delivery… although advised that I did not have that opportunity due to their delivery driver.
Overall, very negative and upsetting experience with Debenhams. I really exp ted more from such a company as this.
