We went back here a month or so after recieving the very best service possible from the most amazing young lady host. (potentially the one on their web-site)

This time we took guests havign raved about how 'engaged' the host & staff were.

BAD MISTAKE: 4th Stpember 2024 - 23:21 the bill was dated/timed.

This time the three or four 'front of house staff'' (who were outside where we sat) were only consumed by themselves. All of them smoking, two (perhaps off duty I dont know) were sitting at separate tables.

Intermittant service by one female and one disinterested male staff member (who were also intermittanly smoking/vaping).

Last time I ordered Sphaghetti - Lovely - This time it was my own fault for ordering ''Chicken and chips'' which was terrible (I should havbe known) the chicken had been flattened and hence dry as a bone - the chips were the usual and predictable ''frozen fries'' that (sadly) we have come to expect at may places. I ordered them so was not really surprised by them, but was dissapointed in the 'flat dry chicken'.

My guests food was ''OK'' - but it was noted that ''The staff are not at all engaged are they?'' - it seemed a chore to take our order and bring the food - as it was interrupting their ''staff'' conversations.

Nope, we decided not to visit there again.

Sorry. But the owners need to know - therefore take this review as a favour.

STRANGELY: I checked their VAT number ''378 705 947 - and according to HMRC that number is not registered. I will advise HMRC - it may be a mistake after all.

Hopeless.

Job all booked - I expeced a bill of £200 or there abouts.

Guy arrived (Central London) - he wanted me to tell him where to park ''as I have driven around trying to find a space'' - I pointed to where I usually park where there are always spaces.

Guy asked me to pay his parkign ticket if he got one - i said No there are spaces over there. What if his van got towed away? would he expect me to pay that as well?

He didnt go where i advised - as I would have seen him. I rang his boss and asked where he was and was told he left the job.

What a hopeless company - as part of British Gas - I would say ''find another company'' who can get their vehicles parked - as every other contractor seems to manage.

I had some woman call my company - she said 'I am from UKSL and I need to speak to someone about an unpaid bill''

I said, i had no idea who or what UKSL is but I could help ''I can only speak to someone in accounts'' she replied.

I repeated, I said I can help - but I have never heard of you and my company does not owe anyone anything (we pay everything within 4 business hours).

''Are you in accounts?'' she demanded - I said to you earlier I can help - what is the issue? - ''and who are you? whats your name?'' she retorted.

Never mind what my name is I already said I can help now whats the problem?

''I will not speak to you unless you give me your name and job title'' - she continued ''I can only speak to someone in authority''.

OK I replied, I have had enough of this nonsesence - you dont call me up and expect me to comply with YOUR RULES for continuing the call, before advising me what the issue is - I cannot help you further goodbye. I put the phone down.

I still have no idea who these people are but I dont dance to THEIR tune just because they sound very officious on the phone.

Ps: update just now - I had a call from a ''ROBOT'' telling me how important this call was and to press 1 to speak to someone - I pressed 1 but gave up waiting as I didnt like their on-hold tune. Plus I have way better things to do =- such as I am watching paint dry.

Absolutely hopeless - I feel any positive reviews were probably written by themselves.

Firstly what I needed was not shown on their web-site, i emailed them and they then amended their web-site. I paid £190.99 and apart from an auto-email payment reply I never heard a thing. (even though The date for my booked 'installation' was here and passed!)

I phoned to ask where the item was and when it was to be fitted (even though I booked for today) and all I got was some abuse form the aggressive person on the other end of the phone - berating me for not ordering correctly.

I got a lecture about how the wiring works (I could not care less) and about how I should have ordered something else as well from them! (How would I know or care?)

I eventually asked ''Do you wan to come and fit this or not?'' - and the completely ignorant and non-customer oriented person on the phone (who must be the person in charge) blurted out ''We will refund it'' and slammed down the phone.

My advice is to use someone who wants your business - not these clowns.

PS: 30 mins later - they just emailed me with this comment ''We have tried asking you a simple question ..... and you are not being clear''

No wonder Amazon does so well - I ordered the item from elsewhere in any case now.

Huh!
