Review of Vietnam Airlines
I am supposed to be flying to Vietnam next Saturday. I logged in to the Vietnam airlines website today to see when I could check in for my flight, only to find that part of my flight had been cancelled with no notification, offer of a refund or offer of an alternative. I have now had to book a very expensive alternative flight so that I don't miss my tour. Thank goodness I checked this early, or I would have missed my holiday!

Same experience as many others - I was not notified before my £24.99 annual subscription ran out and was renewed for £269, the money was just taken. When I contacted the call centre, the line was so poor that we couldn't understand each other. The man on the end asked me to spell out every.single.word of my name, email address and address because he couldn't understand me. No one has time for this! They are clearly trying to make it as hard as possible to unsubscribe.

Delays seem to be the standard on this airline, I'm yet to be delayed by less than 1.5 hours. Currently waiting for my 8.30pm flight, now due to arrive at 10.15!
Review of St John Ambulance (England) - Training courses
The course itself was fantastic and the trainer was very enthusiastic. My only issue was with the bookings. I was initially refused a refund for not being able to attend as I had covid symptoms (before the end of restrictions), and actively told I could still attend as long as I tested negative by the person on the phone. However, their booking info specified that anyone with Covid symptoms should not attend - when I called and spoke to a different person I did recieve the refund.

Review of Hens with Pens
I recently booked with Hens with Pens for a Hen party in Bath. All the hens had an amazing time! The booking process was really easy, Hens with Pens were very accommodating for mixed gender groups and booked a venue for us since we didn't have a big enough house. Our model Simon called the week before to introduce himself and double check arrangements. When two of our party dropped out due to Covid HWP were accommodating about offering them to join the class via Zoom if they wanted. Our model Simon led the class and did an amazing job at making sure everyone felt comfortable and relaxed, while also making the session fun with lots of games and activities. All hens had an amazing time and the little extras like games and fancy dress really made the experience. Would definitely recommend!

Review of Virgin Media
Awful. I am still waiting to be connected since they have decided to use Yodel as a delivery partner. Yodel have failed to deliver the equipment and cannot locate it, and Virgin Media can do nothing to help. They offer a set delivery day - not a window - so that is the day I expect my equipment to arrive. Now I am left with no internet connection when I work from home.

I am expecting a parcel for my virgin media Internet package today. Half six in the evening NYE, I still haven't been sent a delivery window and yet the tracking system still says it will be delivered today - it hasn't even left the depot! Customer service say it will take 24 hours to respond to my query, so I can't even find out when the parcel can be expected.
UPDATE: Waited in for another entire day. At 19.43, I got a message saying my parcel was out for delivery and would arrive between 16.00 and 18.00. Then literally two minutes later, a message saying it had been delivered. It hasn't been, and nobody called (I need to sign for it). No idea where it is now.
UPDATE 2: Virgin media decided to send me out another router, due to arrive yesterday. Once again, no word from Yodel all day, then suddenly a message at around 4pm saying that I missed the delivery and was left a calling card. No one stopped by, and there was no calling card. This is now getting beyond parody.

Review of O2 Recycle
I came to O2 recycle after a negative experience with Music Magpie, who pretended that my phone was damaged and offered me a very low price (please read my review of them too!). I'm so glad that I declined their offer! O2 offered a great price for my phone, and processed the payment within days. What I found useful about this service is that they clearly lay out prices in advance, and also specify exactly how much that price could be knocked down if your phone is faulty. This ensures that there are no nasty shocks after your device is sent off! I would strongly recommend using a reputable organisation like O2 to recycle your phone. Even if their offer is one or two pounds lower, you can be certain that your order is handled carefully and that you will not be scammed by cowboy traders.

Recently sent a LGK8 to music magpie and was offered £17.00. The phone was working well and I used it a few days before I sent it. A few days later, music magpie emailed to tell me that the SIM port was faulty, and reduced my offer to £1.70. I rang to in to query this, since the phone was working before, and they said my only option was to accept or decline the offer. Declined, and guess what? I have just received my phone back in full working order, as I sent it. I put my Tesco Mobile SIM back in, sent a text and made a phone call. I called customer services again and they still refused to reconsider the offer or apologise for their error. Neither staff members even deviated from their script to listen to my problem, nor were they able to suggest any solutions. Do not send your phone here. They will hook you in with a good price and then knock it down.
Update- sent to O2 Recycle, great service, fair price, no damage found (surprise, surprise!).
