Everyday I get at least 2 sales call from virgin media. This is harassment leave me alone!
Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service. Put me in a contract I did not agree too when I told they i wanted to cancel there services and then sent me a bill for early exit fees for a contract they put me in without my consent. Left them in Sept 25 and still chasing them to clear my balance even after being sent an email confirming I had been mischarged and my balance was clear and I am now being chased by debt collectors because they cannot follow through with anything correctly would not recommend at all.

The 1.3 trust pilot score does not surprise at all. Found out they were charging me for a service I hadn't asked for and they weren't supplying. Offered 36 pound compensation. Following month i see my account hasn't been credited and im told it must have been a “glitch”. Will be taking it to the ombudsman but doubt it will go anywhere. They will lose a customer though.
Virgin Media Over charge and Do not left you.........
I left virgin meida give 30 days' notice. They collect more money for Two month when i called, they said you have not finshed process of cancellation. Charged More 40GBP .......They report to the credit agencies for this 40 GBP, which I am not aware of. Now my Fiancial instiution want make me aware that this is on my Cradit file......No Sloution and they need just money, no customer services, no communication, and they do not want to listen......

They are absolutely crap with virgin app.
Very slow and unreliable service .Virgin became one of most unreliable Internet provider since they merged with O2. Unfortunately my contract it's until mid next year and I can't wait till leave this company. Not recommending and very careful when you signing a contract as they don't offer exit fee.
If you want to leave the company for any reason. They won't just charge you with exit fee, they wood ask you to pay in full for remaining time off contract.

The people that put the line in were amazing but it isn't working very well at all. Pay for 1g minimum states 500Mbps average is 79mbps Not impressed at all!
Left VM earlier this month
Left VM earlier this month, returned there modem.
Now getting snotty email saying they have not received there kit and trying to charge me for the modem. What you get for using Yodel as your courier.
The reason for leaving endless price rises, appalling customer services (3 days on whats app last time I tried to leave, having my request ignored).
Now getting 900mb for £23 Vodafone, compaired 125mb for £40 odd with VM.
Goodbye VM, never again.

What made my experience is that you could understand everything that the virgin advisor was saying so it was easy to understand what you had to do when setting up broadband and your account with virgin

Avoid cheap headline deals!
Decent broadband, but customer service is absolutely woeful. You get what you pay for – cheap deals lure you in, but when installation issues, dropouts, or technical problems arise, support is basically non-existent. Would 100% not recommend. Do not use.

Another 20 minute hold (gave up) waiting for bereavement team to answer-a bit less jolly music would be nice by the way. 9/3 advised them second time that friend had died and as her banking blocked gave my bank details to set up further DDs and email me the outstanding to pay…nothing done..so just paid the bill online instead. Rubbish service. Change if could.
Stole my landline number I had for 60 years
When my husband died aged 92 I requested VM downgrade package and remove the sports. They said as the account was in his name I had to submit a bereavement form. I did so and was told it would take up to a week to go through. After 6 days i had recieved an email saying all my services would be disconnected tomorrow. BB, TV, Landline all disappeared the next day. The landline number i had for 60 years was gone. Fortunately i had a simple mobile i used for emergencies and called and set up new account. I was shocked to be told the landline would have to be a new number and the old one lost. Just like that, after 60 years gone, with no chance to halt the process. They basically left a 94yo lady with no landline, tv or internet for 8 days. I phoned numerous times to complain but just got fobbed off with lies every time. If i had the money i would sue them. I have many friends of similar age who only use landline. Some of these are lost forever thanks to VM.

Installed a few days ago and my Internet just keeps dropping out. I've had to come off the WiFi to leave this review!! I left sky for this as well, and I can't watch tv, go on the ps, nothing.
AVOID
AVOID - Appalling company. DO NOT USE. Mis sold to my elderly parents. Sold broadband, landline and2 mobile monthly’s. Couldn’t then provide landline leaving them extremely vulnerable , engineer cut though TV cable downed tools and left. Told my parents their contract with current provider was expired, it wasn’t and large cancellation charge. Had to get an external engineer to fix tv cable. Took over 2 months to get refund and too many phone calls where customer services just lie. Now with the ombudsman.AVOID

Booked weeks ago, no contact with Virgin Media other than them asking how it is going, despite not having been installed at the that time???
The install was brilliant..Sam and Luke from the local (Derbyshire) team were on it.
First question where would you like the router....
Arrived on time and proceeded to get it done in a very efficient and timely manner. Fitted and checked very quickly despite having a block paving driveway....you wouldn't have known they been there afterwards...well done lads.
Full fibre is so much better than cable.
Everytime someone on our street has a problem with their landline Internet, it gets fixed for them and ruins someone else's on the street....
