Excellent product and price

Excellent product and price. Customer services excellent as the carrier decided to play football with a set of glasses and one was broken on arrival. Swift response from customer services and I had my set in a couple of days. Many thanks and I'll use your business again!

Ask Horsham 15-4-25. Seabass Alforno. Tiniest fillet of fish hidden under a pile of spinach. The pot of "white wine sauce" looked a gloopy mess and tasted like dish water. Not nice at all...

Customer service not good

Customer service not good. Beware 5 star reviews. Most will be be because they ordered something and received it. BUT...It's when things go wrong that a company stands or fails. This company has, in my case, failed. AND reading the the 1 star reviews shows up the failings for when things go wrong. One name in particular it seems is Laurence who appears to be part of the family. I received an item that had a faulty open sight (internal part leaning to one side so impossible to use accurately). Instead of perhaps trying to find a good one from their stock to change over I was told that product was "made to a price" so they were "all different", whatever that means And that as it could be zeroed it would still work!! Not sure how they think a bent sight would be any good... They also did not bother to reply to another query regarding the gun, instead sending a belligerent reply saying that they had tested it and it was fine...(It isn't!). I've now asked for a refund and they have gone quiet. Beware and read the 1 star comments and see a picture resolving!!!

Good morning David, I understand that you've not been happy with our responses in this case, for any reading this review the rifle in question is an SMK XS501 CO2 rifle. These are Chinese made rifle and are around the £150 mark. We have found over our many years of dealing with SMK, and Chinese made rifles in general, that their quality and finish is always subject to chance and is not always what you would expect when spending your money on a rifle that you'd been looking forward to. Our very first response to you after your initial email was:
"Sorry to hear you are disappointed with the quality of the XS501. These are all quality controlled from our supplier and ourselves, and for the value of the rifle, they would consider the issues you have mentioned to be acceptable. If you are not happy to keep it, we would come and collect it from you on our next delivery route. If we believed that a replacement would be suitable, we would have offered this, however, you will find it of similar finish.

Please let me know if you would like us to collect and process a refund. Apologies again."

As you can see from our previous reviews, and their only being 10 negative reviews in the last 2 years, we do everything to maintain very high standards of customer service.

Very poor service from Accident Management Company

HAving worked in the Accident clams industry for over 20 years I do know how it works. What I can say about Kindertons is that aI had a clear no falult accident with tp changing lanes and colliding with my vehicle. Diagrams, pics, and areas of damage to both vehicles clearly bear out circumstances. Kindertons couldnt even be bothered to get in touch with TP insurer. IMO it is because the Value of the Credit Hire would have been low. Very poor form

Hidden Non-Normal numbers are chargeable!!

IDmobile have a "hidden" list of numbers that you can be charged for contacting regardless of whether you have inclusive plan. I was charged for texts and phone call to a number beginning 078939. When I queried this charge I was told it was a Business number!!?? I'm sure we all use our phones to contact businesses and private numbers but if we have an Inclusive plan doent expect to be charged UNLESS it is made clear on the ID Website that we will be. BUT NO MENTION OF THIS FOR 078939, ARE THERE OTHERS?? BEWARE...

***So, because of the reply from ID I thought I'd better update:

To be sure the number you are about to call will be included in your plan and you won't be charged at 40p per minute you must go to the their website and click on a couple of links to arrive at a list of 98 "Special" 07 numbers that ID for some reason class as non-normal and will charge you 40p per minute!!

I've never had this with any other supplier and will move because of it.

Avoid Servicing by CWARD if you have a dive watch!!

While Cward watches on the whole are of good quality I would avoid their watch repair/servicing services if you have bought one of their many Dive watches. Just had my 600m rated Trident serviced with them only to find that they CAN ONLY PRESSURE TEST TO 30M STATIC WATER!!. 30M rating for those that don't know is only good for hand washing and light rain. It specifically excludes using the watch for swimming/diving or pool!!
I find it incredible that a company that designs and produces and sells dive watches and that offers a repair/servicing service for those same watches hasn't got the facilities to test to their original specification...AND that they DON'T tell customers that fact...

Also when I queried this with their Customer Services team I was told it was "industry standard to test to 30 meters". THAT IS NOT TRUE

So, if you want your dive watch looked after properly DONT USE CWARD!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Repair Service and non existant "quality Control"

Very dissapointed with C ward. I have bought many of their products over the years and still own a couple. Its their Repair service and so called Quality control that has upset a long running customer (me!) this time

Paid just over £300 for a "repair" to a C60 Chronograph (automatic) as the chrono was stopping half way round. A fair price. But after 6 weeks I have just received it back and is not working at all now!! As soon as I unpacked I saw that the hand on the 6 dial was not centred correctly. A few seconds later I found that it had taken 4 pushes to get the chrono running...and then it stopped... It now wont restart or reset.

My real gripe is that this all isn't necessary IF they had Really put it through a Final Inspection these faults would have been seen immediately. I wonder how long I will have to wait This time before I get it back? :0(

They outsource claims to a very dubious company

This company outsources their claims to a company called Trinity Claims. Trinity Claims has broken appointments and wont even admit that mine is a storm damage claim despite winds of 69mph. Worse thing is that they have provided no justification for their actions. I Wont be renewing with Policy Expert purely because of this company and the way they have treated me so far. Next stop Insurance Ombudsman...

Claim History:
Storm Damage to Dormer caused rainwater ingress 1-11-22. Trinity made 2 appointments to visit and cancelled them both. Finally turned up over a month after I put claim in, and then I suspect, only because I had involved another claims assessor to operate on my behalf. Received a Cash Settlement offer from them which they chased for me to accept 3 times in 7 days, the last one threatening to Close the Claim if I did not accept. All this despite not supplying me with any works of damage, so I hadn't a clue whether the figure was reasonable or not. I refused at that time saying I had no information from them to decide if it was a suitable figure and on that basis they withdrew the offer. 7 weeks later they now offer Half of what they offered before PLUS they say that Dormer not covered for storm damage as "adverse weather Highlighted maintenance issues". Met office confirmed the there were wind gusts of 69.1 mph!!! Yet Trinity say "Wasn't storm damage"!!! Unbelievable... (and I have NEVER claimed on home insurance in over 40 years...) No to renewal with Policy expert while they deal with this sort of company

Trinity Claims have delegated authority to handle all claims submitted under our policies and they ensure that all claims are handled fairly and in line with the policy terms and conditions.

After speaking with Trinity, they advised that you lodged a claim for storm damage on 18th November. Trinity arranged for a surveyor to attend your property on 28th November but unfortunately, they were unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. We do apologise for the inconvenience this caused you.

A network surveyor was then booked to attend your property, however, you had arranged for a loss adjuster to get involved in the claim. When a loss adjuster is involved, Trinity need to instruct an employed regional surveyor, therefore they had to cancel the appointment with the network surveyor.

Trinity has received the quotes from the loss adjuster and provided you with a settlement that you have disputed.

We understand you have now raised a formal complaint. Please be assured that Trinity will carry out a thorough review of your case and provide a full response to all of the points you’ve raised.

I have taken a look at your claim and can see that the initial appointment that was made with the surveyor had to be cancelled due to a family emergency. Unfortunatley, this was out of our control and completely unforseen. The appointment was then rearranged with a different surveyor however, as you had instructed a Loss Assessor to be involved with your claim, we could not fulfil this appointment and needed our in-house surveyor to attend.

I can also see that we have discussed our limit of liability with your appointed representative and following this, a complaint has been raised and it is with our team being reviewed.
