Don’t respond to enquiries

I purchased an item which does not look like the photo on the website. When I have went to return it the website now informs me that it would be for a credit note. I would not have purchased this if I was aware of this policy at the time. I have tried to contact the company twice to query this via the contact section on the account login. I contacted on the 24th Aug and again on the 29th and have had no response from the boutique.
Poor service.
