A Very Poor Experience
Paid for Sunday delivery, item placed on backorder without notice
Extremely poor service. I placed an order for three items that were all listed as in stock, and the full payment—including a premium charge for Sunday delivery—was taken immediately. Naturally, paying for Sunday delivery means the items are needed urgently.
Only after taking my money did they reveal that one of the items is actually on backorder. Charging full price upfront while failing to deliver the promised stock on time is completely unacceptable and misleading.
I expect a full refund for the backordered item and the Sunday delivery charge immediately. Very disappointed with this experience.

Having reviewed the order, I can see that two units of the item in question were ordered. At the time the order was placed, one unit was available in stock, which resulted in the product displaying as available online. Unfortunately, only one of the two units ordered was available to fulfil, which meant the second unit was subsequently placed on backorder. We appreciate that this was not clear and understand why this has been frustrating.
We're actively investigating ways to improve the stock availability information displayed on our website so customers have a clearer understanding of available quantities when placing orders.
In relation to the payment, we do not fully debit customers until items are dispatched from our warehouse. As such, the amount relating to the out-of-stock item should only have been showing as a pending authorisation rather than a completed charge. We can confirm that this authorisation has now been cancelled on our system as requested, and the funds should return to your available balance shortly, subject to your bank's processing times.
We sincerely apologise for the confusion and inconvenience this has caused. I will also be in touch with you directly to discuss this matter further and ensure any outstanding concerns are addressed.

I got the Perfect lens, really fast service
The condition of the lens I ordered was even better than expected , very well packed , I ordered 4pm on Saturday and it was delivered next day on a Sunday for very little extra cost, I’m delighted all round.

Pleased with my purchase and the service
I found a used lens at about half the price of a new one. Ordering was straightforward, it arrived quickly and was well packaged.
I’ve now used the lens on an overseas trip and I’m very pleased with it. It works as well as a new lens. The zoom range has made my camera a lot more versatile and stopped me reaching for my iPhone.
