Just be careful when buying any coins that they dont come with a subscription.

Absolute scam of a company. Bought one coin fine. Then they tried to take £32 from my bank without any prior warning or email to say I had been signed up for a subscription which I never would have agreed to. Its pathetic in this day and age the length companies go to to get money from people. Other than bad press I don't know what they are gaining from this. If you google the company even the AI review can gather that they are sly. I wish I had googled first.

I bought ONE coin from them, not realising that a single one off purchase would cause me so much hassle. It turns out, that if you purchase ONE item, you're automatically signed up for a whole collection, wether you want it or not. When I emailed them numerous times, they just sent the exact same response every time. They clearly don't read their emails. I have now had to pay for postage to return a large items I never even wanted, and no matter how many times I contact them, telling them not to, they just keep sending me stuff. Absolute joke. I won't be returning any more items sent to me. I'll just bin them.

Hello there everyone I have bought a fue things from them and I like to say that it was bloody fantastic. I have stopped bying from them at the moment because I have not long lost my dad and mum so I have not got myself together with my depression and anxiety. So hopefully I'll be able to start again.

Purchased a one off coin for £3.50, my account details where then used to set up a regular payment of £28.98 for coins that I never ordered and certainly didn't look value for money. I then had to arrange for the coins to be returned and for the money to be refunded, I also had to opt out of the subscription that I didn't know I had signed up to.
I would never trust this company again.

I have been receiving various coins over the years with never a problem. Unfortunately I received an envelope recently and the coin was missing. I contacted "Customer services" I received a reply to say it would be reviewed within 2 days or so and true to their word a couple of days later have asked if I'd like a replacement or a refund. No quibble. Just a brilliant service.

1 star as I can't put any less, noticed a charge of £22.99 leave my account today, went onto the westminister site and noticed i've been signed up to not one but 2 subscriptions I had no idea about after ordering what I though was one off orders. Terrible business practice! Received no product relating to the £22.99 charge and I only originally ordered a pin bade and a coin!they should have a pop up appear as you order asking if you want to continue with a subscription or not, not to be hidden in the blurb and smallprint if that's the case. Sneaky practices. Will not be utilising ever again.

They are still up to their old tricks of hidden subscriptions. I have seen this mentioned before and they apologies but the horrible practice continues.
I only noticed that they were trying to take funds from my account that a subscription was set up. I never received any additional coins and they are trying to collect money for goods that i never received. BEWARE. Now threating me with debt collection.

Staff are amazing , many thanks to Mark and Gail for their help and support .

Really awful experience with this site. Brought a 50p to which it was not made clear a subscription would be started. Then sent letters about debt on my account. Sent multiple emails asking for support which some I waited ages for a response too despite still receiving threats of debt collection etc.
Would never recommend this website to anyone.

When ordering I only ordered for one item. The next month a different one came which hadn’t ordered and wasn’t expecting. It was nice so decided to keep it but didn’t want anything further. I phoned to cancel any future items. The gentleman I spoke to couldn’t be more helpful. He explained what had happened and ensured it was cancel. So very helpful and I learnt a lot so thank him

Unfortunately 0 is not a valid score.
Where do i start.
Send you coins you don't ask for, or subscribe to, then threaten you with action.
They take your money, then say there's a delay. Tell me first and let me decide if I want to wait, and keep my money.
Claimed i owed them £1.99. I kept asking for what, and just get a response saying orders.
So, I give up waiting for common sense from them, and pay it.
Months later, I ordered 2 coins. Charged my card, then message me saying I cannot order ang more. I emailed them, and they said my account locked. I ask what for. They say for an outstanding amount of £1.99 i paid months ago. No apllogy. They then say my account is open.
I ordered the coins from Royal Mint and they came within 3 days.

The two members of the team i spoke to actually listened to me, and supported me in making a decision that was best for me. They spoke clearly, openly and gave me the time to consider my options. Thankyou

Very awesome collectors items and I’m sorry I paid because I’m having problems with my card but when my card is connected, I’ll pay whatever I owe

I got my order which i paid for in full it offered an additional item for free all i had to do was pay the postage. it never arrived with order so i investigated from what i can make out from their unhelpful robot was that i had signed up for a further collection i feel they are conning people into buying further stuff they do not want, i think i have cancelled the subscription but says i might still receive the item. they conned me into paying a postage fee for something i dont want. i am a pensioner and find this scary. OK i am updating this review as i had a delivery this morning with a set of 4 coins free which is what i thought i was getting so i apologise all i can say in my defence is that the stupid AI robot was able to answer my question in the first place it would have not needed my rant. once again sorry👍

Product Number NGV4 - ‘A Tribute to HRH Queen Elizabeth II And HRH Prince Philip Silver Proof £5 Trio’
In enquiring about this item by telephone, I queried the use of the title ‘HRH’ in relation to HM The Late Queen in the online description for the item. The Customer Service Adviser, Donna, told me that this was a printing error, and that the ‘Certificate Of Authenticity’ which accompanied the coin set, should I purchase it, would have the correct title ’HM’ The Queen. It did not! Therefore, the coin set was sold to me with misleading advice from Customer Services.
Furthermore, the coins were not UK issues, but were from the Channel Islands. This was not stated in the item description. I pointed this out, by email, to another member of the Customer Service team, Sarah, who insisted, by return email, that the item description on the website did state that the coins were from the Channel Islands, and despite my having attached a ‘screenshot’ of the item description with no mention of the Channel Islands.
And, after potentially spending close to £300 on this item, it arrived totally devoid of any protection on the inside, to the extent that the three coins in their capsules had popped from their recesses, and were rattling around inside the display box, something which has happened with other purchases on many occasions in the past.
As of today, 5th July, the item description still carries a blatant breach of etiquette in that Her Late Majesty is still referred to as ‘HRH’ - a title which she ceased to use in 1952 and, even though I pointed out this breach of etiquette some time ago, ‘The Westminster Collection’ seems to be unfazed by it. Also, there is still no suggestion on the website that the coins are Channel Islands issues.
There have been other occasions in the past when I have been misled by Customer Service Advisers, one such occasion resulted in a written apology from yet another member of the Customer Service team, Jerome, and the offer of a £10 credit against my account.
I had been a loyal customer of ‘The Westminster Collection’ since 2013.
I would expect, and had failed to get, total honesty from Customer Service Advisers. I have since closed my account. I can get what I need from other sources, with more forthright, and honest, Customer Service advice!
