The whole staff was personable. We felt like our dining room waiter, Alden, adopted us. He knew our preferences and prepared the table for us. I left things in the vault. The staff tracked us to o... See more

Great service and a clean ship.
Our vacation aboard the Victory II…
Our vacation aboard the Victory II completely exceeded our expectations. Every aspect of the journey was impressive, beginning with the exceptional staff members who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. The evening entertainment featured a fantastic, engaging live band, and the diverse selection of shore excursions added immense value to our trip. Thank you to the entire team for delivering a truly outstanding and memorable vacation.

great in every way except
great in every way except: I had $60 credit remaining in my on board account, so on last morning on ship I went to the Pursers Office to redeem for Victory logo items. I was told that it was too late as I had to use the credits up "yesterday". I said I wasn't aware of this, and was told that it was announced previously, which I did not hear. Left very bad taste in my mouth! Too bad to partially ruin a great cruise. I suggest a review of your announcement procedures, as many are unable to be heard. John Montani
Every staff member was outstanding
Every staff member was outstanding, including two tour bus drivers we had (Patrick and Rex). Onboard ship activities were plentiful. Sad I missed the Edmund Fitzgerald lecture; our Milwaukee excursion returned when the lecture was more than half over (Mickie was fabulous in all her various roles).
Relative negatives: excursion tours were sometimes dull to boring.
I especially enjoyed Cleveland (Rock annd Roll Hall of Fame) and Detroit. Detroit: many great options for this city. Three of us put together our own Cranbrook Experience, touring three houses. This took most of the day, and I don’t know how a half day Victory tour could have covered this.
Bathroom shower was tiny and the non-slip bumps hurt my feet.
We’ve already booked a Victory cruise for next year.
Cabin
Cabins were to cramped. Watch TV only from bed. The bed was to high. No seating area. Happy Hour was not good. Lakeorian
talk during. Not condusive to meeting fellow travelers. The shower waaay to small for a big man.
The entertainment got to be boring Same 0 Same 0.

We enjoyed every minute we were on board and on the included and premier excursions. We did find it a little difficult finding what was happening as all was on the cellphone, but we managed. The food was excellent, the cabins were comfortable and the passengers and crew were extremely friendly.
We loved everything about our cruise
We loved everything about our cruise, the staff, the food and drink, the house band, the excursions and the size of the ship.
Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Friendly & helpful.
Liked smaller vessel. Friendly helpful staff. 2 dining options. Excursions were great, very informative. Lovely massage! Nice to have MD on board.
Wonderful cruise!
Wonderful cruise!! Loved the smaller size ship and its fantastic crew. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Food was amazing, well served by Tyron and Sarah, the wine steward. The Victory 1 band was so talented, singing so many different music genres. The Highlight was our cruise director, Nicole’s singing, especially her Broadway night songs. The ports were great, with very informative and engaging guides. Looking forward to sailing with Victory again.

Liked the entertainment and all the stops throughout
Enjoyed it all
The vessel was in good condition and regardless of where one would be on the boat the surroundings were pleasant. The staff were helpful, friendly and attentive at all times. The waitstaff in the Coastal Dining area were particularly good, memorizing our names and preferences and proactively helping the one member of our group that had food allergies. The stops on the Great Lakes tour were well-selected and the side trips offered different options that we enjoyed. The only downside was that when the cruise had run its course it was time to get off the boat. I would have appreciated another week or two!
Best Cruise Ever
This was my first experience on a smaller ship. I cannot say one thing was better than the other. Everything was fantastic-the food, entertainment, shore excursions, the crew. I would highly recommend this to those who want to feel like royalty. That is how I felt.
Super job and well done
Staff was outstanding specially, Suliman,Sid, Preston, Joseph, Marvin, Maria, Sarah, Sabrena and The Captain
Staff was outstanding specially, Sid, Preston, Suleiman,Joseph, Marvin, Maria, Sarah, Sabrena and The Captain. The Chef selection of food was great. We enjoyed both the included tours and the ones we paid premium. After our tours at night we look forward to the entertainment unfortunately we did not enjoy the entertainment. I enjoyed it one night the cabaret but that was just a show and people wanted to dance including us. The musicians are good but I think it was the kind of music they selecting did not go with the crowd. People wanted to dance more. They started at 8:45pm or a little after and were done by 9:45pm or 10:00pm after that there was no more music some people including ourselves we wanted to stay longer and listen to music and perhaps dance. We will recommend you to our family and friends, but I will let them know about your entertainment and hopefully when they book you will have a better entertainment.

Loved the Vessel and the crew were wonderful. the music was especially special. I would eliminate that very long day inToronto and omit Escanaba which was a waste of good time.
Everything planned was so enjoyable
Everything planned was so enjoyable. Excursions, lake lorien, musicians etc. The food was very good and Mark is a wonderful waiter. We have told everybody about it.
Mismanagement
I lost my balance on the last step of the gangplank and fell getting a bump on my head. I declined medical attention. There were no employees in that area that usually help me get down. I had to take a ferry to Mackinaw to get to the Grand Hotel. There were no Victory employees by the ferry, at Mackinaw to get me a taxi to get to the Grand Hotel or at the Grand Hotel itself . I discovered I was NOT given a ticket to get entry to the luncheon. I finally got in at some delay. Again no Victory employees to be found. I was helped by people employed by Mackinaw island
Needless to say I was quite upset.
OK for small people!
OK for small people!
Bathroom was too small. Shower was incredibly tiny. Food was okay but not great in most instances.
The itinerary
The itinerary, crew (particularly entertainment), food & service. Outstanding & I’ve been on a gazillion cruises.
