Great customer service
Sarah was great from the moment we dropped the car off, friendly and welcoming. There was a delay due to the part required arriving damaged but Sarah made sure to let us know as soon as possible, providing options that would suit us best. Great service from MG Southend all round.

Having made a previous visit when I couldn't find what I was looking for I was contacted by Richard Pemberton. He suggested that I should come up and view some of the stock they had. I made a return visit on Friday and was greeted by Ben Hughes who showed me around one of the type of vehicles that I am interested in, I found him to be very knowledgeable and explained the features of the car. I look forward to a return visit in the very near future, thanks to both of you for your assistance. I shall be returning 🙂

Great customer service - marcel rogers
Great customer service from Marcel Rogers at Basildon. My daughter had an intermittent scraping noise from a wheel and couldn’t get it looked by service for a week (which is not so good) but Marcel in sales sorted it out for her within an hour. Brilliant

Nearly 12 months without my car
Here I am again, writing a poor review for Vauxhall Toomey Basildon
My previous reviews seemed to of been removed.
Customer service as Toomey Vauxhall Basildon repairs … appalling, along with the manager who seem to ignore my emails, they have had my car for 10 months (bar 2 weeks in January when I paid my bill) they have it back as the part “fixed” wasn’t correct so had to order another. Here I am 7 months down the line still without my car. Finance is due to end in sept 2026 and no confirmation of proof they are chasing the part as they have told me a number of times. WHY the delay!!! You know I want to hand the car back to Stellantis I paid my bill and I can’t hand it back until road worthy. It is out of my hands. I need a call today

Outstanding experience
My car had been booked in at hyundai Basildon. Drivers side mirror, motor needed to be replace as not operating mirror.
I was greeted by Sofia friendly warm smile.
What a asset this young lady is to the hyundai company.
She is very knowledgeable,approachable and extremely helpful.
Sofia came with me to the hire car as l have never driven an electric car, after explaining all and staying with me till l felt comfortable with the car.
Overall experience with my visit was outstanding.

Diagnostics and repairs were done and my car was ready for pickup a lot quicker than I expected, Jaimie and Olivia (Toomey customer service staff) were absolutely great all through the experience; empathetic, supportive and regularly reached out to provide updates. I wish all motor garages operated in this fashion, because this was definitely a 5-star experience.

First time visitor....
First time I have taken my car here for a service, and both the car and I were very well treated! Sofia was very helpful when checking the car in, and when she checked it back out she went through all the points with me. Nice waiting area, and I really liked the screen showing progress for each vehicle. Free refreshments (even if the multiple recycling bins were a bit confusing, lol) was very welcome. Air con too, so perfect when waiting on a hot day....
