5 months and counting for a refund on a cancelled show

I have been trying to get a refund for 5 months from Ticketmaster Italia on the Aerosmith show that was supposed to happen in June in Milan.
The customer service form/email is useless as they do not respond to you and there is no phone number disclosed anywhere "in order to better keep track of request".
Overall, a hugely disappointing experience.
EDIT: For Christine if you read this and are located in the US, I have read that people have received their refund after filing a complaint with the BBB. Hopefully it will be helpful.
UPDATE: Ticketmaster finally responded to the emails letting me know the reinbursement will only be "analysed" after the 31st of August (original deadline submission being 10th of July). It's absurd to wait 9 months for a reinbursement, since the submission deadline should have nothing to do with processing requests (especially since I submitted mine in January). Again, another very disappointing interaction that lead to no conclusion.
UPDATE 2: It's the end of July and still no refund has been issued. I have even tried contacting them through the Oniline Dispute Resolution mechanism for EU consumers but of course they did not even bother replying there. I seriously advise everyone to get in contact with their national contact point from ECC and get legal advice from them on how to move forward. Best course of option seems the European Order for Payment/ Europen Small Claims Court as they clearly do not care one bit about customers or their rights. The audacity to note that Trustpilot is not their official contact point and tell people to use the form, when they don't respond there, is unbelievable. I also advise everyone to ask their ECC contact point about interest percentage and claim after so many months of refusing to reimburse customers.

I have not received any information…No info Foo Fighters Refund

I have not received any information about a refund from Ticketmaster Italia regarding the refund for the Foo Fighters Milan. There is NOTHING to assist. NOTHING. My original method of payment has since changed. Has anyone any tip on how to get assistance to ensure I receive my refund.

Frustrating

Impossible to talk to. Replies non-existent. All I want is confirmation that the refund which I hope will eventually be issued for our Foo Fighters tickets is not issued to the card we paid with 3 years ago as that card no longer exists....

0/10 worst customer service ever

0/10 worst customer service ever, took days for a response and weren't willing to help me at all. I am from Canada and we forgot our music festival tickets and they weren't willing to do anything at all to help. I will make sure every single person I know knows to never use their service. Also dumb they don't have a number uou can call they answered me 2 days into the music festival

I would like to add that I reached out multiple times in the help center and did not get a reply until after the concerts had started. This review was after and I just wanted to make people aware of my experience.

Useless……Ticketmaster Italy

I have actually received my refund!!!!!!
It’s only taken them over 9 months.
I hope others are also getting theirs.

I’be raised a complaint through website for ukecc about this incompetent company. They provide consumer .
and legal advice to UK residents who are having issues with services or companies in the EU

Thanks ‘Ticketmaster Italy’ for confirming once again that you are processing my refund which has been the response since February, so absolutely no change at all. Also, your customer contact process, which is filling out a form, is totally ineffective. Your response via Trustpilot is the only reaction I have had from your organisation, so perhaps you should try managing customer expectations here!!

Exactly the same experience as others trying to get a refund for the cancelled Aerosmith gig in Milan.
We went to Milan last weekend anyway just to visit and I wanted to go to their offices to complain in person, however, I don’t speak Italian and suspect they’d just fob me off or ignore me just like the they have done with the dozens of emails I have sent.
I could have done with the refund to soften the blow of my wife’s shopping!!!

Yes your customer services have replied to me but you still have not issued a refund and you keep changing the dates and saying you are extremely busy, I know people who have already had refunds from the Foo Fighters concert that was cancelled when Taylor Hawkins died!!! You are keeping peoples money and that’s not fair!

Where is my refund? No reply to my messages at all ..

Update 22.08.2022:

Of course I did not get a penny back and of course ticketmaster did not reply to my latest attempt to contact them a month ago via "the correct contact form" aka their customer "service" channel.
I suppose I will never get my money back and I suppose that all of the customer voices here that claim they did are actually paid by ticketmaster. It's a shame!

Update 25.07.2022:

A month ago trustpilot reached out to me to tell me they are gone send my refund back. So far NOTHING happened. I did not get any further mails, nor my refund back. Im waiting now for half a year! This is ridiculous and also very concerning!

@ticketmaster: please stop explaining that trustpilot is not "one of your official Customer Service channels" when on the other hand you simply do not react to any requests sent to the official fan.support(at)ticketmaster.it, as unfortunately many customers experience and share.

Original Post:

Unfortunately, I had the same experience as many here. The Aerosmith concert was cancelled, I filled out the form to request a refund and after a while I received an e-mail from a "Cristina Bruschini" informing me that there was a problem with my refund and that I should reply with my IBAN and BIC code. This I did.
After several weeks of not hearing back or getting a refund, I contacted them again using the same e-mail address. I contacted also via the form on the ticketmaster.it page. And I contacted very often!

To this day I have not heard back and have not yet received a refund.

I would not buy tickets here again! This sounds like a scam to me.

Edit 23.06.2022:

ticketmaster reached out to me, explaining that trustpilot is not their official service channel and that I would have been answered faster if I would have used their customer care center.
They forgot to mention the 13 emails I wrote to the Customer Care team with no reaction at all within the 4 month between their first contact telling me that they have trouble paying back my refund and their response to me reaching out via trustpilot.

Their response so far is that they are planning to send my refund within the next weeks.

I will update my post in case I actually will receive my refund finally.

Where is my refund?

I requested a refund for a cancelled gig. They asked for my bank details and confirmed they had them on 22/2/2022. I received another email on 21/03/2022 saying the same. Still waiting for my refund a month later. Cannot contact them except by form. Absolute scam. Even worse than Ticketmaster UK, if that's possible.

Terrible customer service

I initially contacted Ticketmaster Italia when I heard that the Aeorosmith concert, in Milan, in June, had been cancelled. I heard the news on the radio and have so far, never received an email from TMI to say this has been cancelled. I sent an email at the beginning of February to say that I would like a refund (as I had not been informed of the cancellation officially). Initially I was told that my ticket number did not match the email that I had been sent my tickets to. Which was odd - so I sent the email showing the email with the tickets on. Then I received another email on 28th Feb from Cristina Bruschini saying there was a problem issuing my refund and could I send my IBAN and swift code number, which I did by return of email.

Despite sending several emails chasing this up and asking what has happened, I have heard nothing now for almost a month.

You advise, on here, to go through the correct channels on TMI to find out what is happening, but when I haven't had any further correspondence, then what alternative is there to try and get an answer? You have no complaints procedure and quite clearly your company is totally incompetent. You seem happy to take customers money for the concerts, but not give it back to them. This is illegal.

My request number is 12132687 and I would request an urgent response to my enquiry.

No refund, useless excuses

I was going to see Lumineers in Verona (12.7.2021). When the event was cancelled I was offered a refund coming in few weeks. After 7 months I still didnt get it. I sent multiple requests with no reasonable feedback or explanation except for lousy excuse of having high volume of enquiries. I can see some others here got help - appreciate it in advance.

I am unable to change the name on my…

I am unable to change the name on my concert tickets per the instructions on your website. It's impossible for me to even email customer service using your website, as when I select the option to change names on a ticket, the response I receive is "name changes are not able to be processed at this time due to COVID." What does COVID have to do with changing names on my two tickets? I need them changed precisely for the purpose of COVID tracking (this event is not subject to the Battali law). It's absurd.

No concession

We bought 5 tickets for Royal Blood in March 2022 in Milan. We are travelling from Germany especially for this and would therefore like to have the tickets 14 days earlier.
Ticketmaster is not willing to send the tickets earlier than 5 days before, so they might arrive too late.
Also a conversion to e-tickets is apparently not possible.

Ticketmaster no longer responds to enquiries.

We are so happy but the service is just disappointing and maybe that's why we can't see Royal Blood.

Dreadful service and communication

Dreadful service and communication . I am still waiting for a refund for tickets I bought to see Greenday in Milan in 2020. I requested a refund on 28/05/2020 and still waiting for a refund . They now are saying I can’t get a refund as it’s been rescheduled even though a refund option was given at the time ! Never ever again !

Ticketmaster acts as intermediate between the event organizer, and customers using our website to purchase tickets. Our role is to support the event organizer in selling the tickets, and manage customers queries.

Ticketmaster is not authorised to process refund unless instructed to do so by the event organizer.

The event organizer communicates the guidelines to us, and we are required to pass them on to customers.

Won’t use while covid is still around

I was due to see the Lumineers in Verona this July (2021) but the event was cancelled on 1st April. I am still to receive my refund and communication has been poor. I have no idea when I will get my money back. While covid is still around I will not be purchasing tickets through Ticketmaster Italy. Very poor service.
