I ordered purple sprouting broccoli to harvest in early spring. The crop failed so, without consultation, they sent calabrese, which would crop autumn, plus a £5 discount off my next order. The calabrese plants were very poor , with only one or 2 leaves, and those were wilted. I had to request a refund, which was granted immediately, so I gave 2 stars.

First time buyer of plants online. OK, I have to confess when I opened the box I was a bit worried. The hanging baskets had been securely packaged so the plants looked cramped; I was afraid they would die. I put them in place and by the next morning they looked great. They are thriving. Really good quality plants. Will definitely be buying from Thompson and Morgan again.

Ordered a hedge/garden trimmer, arrived and went to fit hedge strimmer blade. Grass trimmer was fitted and goes on and off easily. Read instructions tried to fit Hedge strimmer blade but the hole that fits over the drive pin would not fit. Gave up after several attempts as did not want to break item and contacted T&M by e mail. (Premium phone line and kept on hold!) Have now had several e mails telling me to read the instructions properly and that there is nothing wrong. Refusing to refund P&P as not faulty in their view. Have bought from them many times before, never again.

I couldn’t get a special offer code to work on my order. Without any trouble, the discount was honoured when I contacted customer service even though the offer had finished the previous day. The lady was so professional and patient and dealt with the order straightaway. Thankyou. I wouldn’t buy my plants anywhere else as I’ve had excellent service (and plants) from this company for several years now.

Not received any plants yet. First ones were damaged by Evri and now they keep being pushed back. One now not coming till March. Very disappointing. Will never order anything again 😡

Fine for bulbs, although the postage is expensive. "garden ready/postiplugs" totally hopeless, not a single one grew out of three or four deliveries and they aren't cheap for teensy only just pencil thick seedlings/cuttings. 3 litre pots also fine, just avoid those that are tiny and posted through the letterbox, most are dead on arrival.

Great seeds and good quality vegetable plants

Unfortunately the honeysuckles I received were badly damaged. I understand these things can happe so I filled in the contact form on the website.
Had someone from Thompson & Morgan bothered contacting me to sort out my problem I would not have been giving such a bad review.
So basically, I wasted my money and got ignored by customer services.

The plants this year is one of the best one thing l complained about packing with green netting on marigolds and you said l could have a voucher or more plants l heard nothing more l am now a member of gardening club the money off offers very good thanks

I ordered two small hanging baskets- one was delightful (reds/purples/pink and the other one I think was Gardeners Choice (kind of lucky dip?) . Anyway it was pretty bedraggled on arrival and I couldn’t really identify it! Anyway it’s now rallied a bit and I think it’s an orange begonia! Well they weren’t expensive so it’s the luck of the draw I guess! Sue B

Ordering the plants that I required was easy and the service that I received from Thompson and Morgan was excellent. However, perhaps a change of courier is needed as I was supposed to receive the plants on the Thursday but I did not receive them until the following Monday evening (even though I telephoned the courier's office twice to find out what had happened to them). I thought that they would probably be dead because of the extreme heat. I am pleased to say that we planted them out and some of them are now flowering. I will use Thompson and Morgan again when I need more plants for my garden.
