Plants were crushed, only one as bloomed

I’ve bought a few plants from T&M last couple of years & also seeds - this year has been a disappointment- agapanthus that didn’t flower- dahlias were delivered in bad condition but tbf they sent replacements asap which are good plants only just starting to bud & flower - some fuschias that have died except one that is barely flowering & a hanging basket that was delayed twice so I cancelled & again I was refunded in good time - the customer service is prompt in replying & sorting problems but I’ve had a few issues with plants - never mind worse things at sea 😎

Superbly packaged as always 3 dahlia plants approx 1 ft / 30 cms high.

The order was dispatched really quickly. The packaging was excellent and the product arrived quickly in perfect condition.

My strawberry plant was dumped in the porch early in the morning and left there all day as the delivery man did not ring the bell. And of course, the plant didn’t not look too good in this boiling weather.

To be honest, I'd give 0 stars if I could.
I've placed 3 orders recently. The first arrived with the plants and compost loose in the box. Several of the plants were already dead and more could not be revived. The order was replaced with exactly the same result.
The second order was for a significant number of perennial plants for a new border. It was over a week before I got an acknowledgement and an apology that 3 of the plants were not available. This generated a partial refund. The remaining plants were despatched but then destroyed in transit. I then had to chase them for replacement plants. I just got another email to say that most of the plants were now unavailable and no mention of a refund. My new border will now get only 5 different plants instead of the load that I'd ordered.
My final order was for 2 planters and 4 plants. When the box arrived I was pleased to see that the courier had been very careful, the box was in good condition and the please keep this way up instructions had been followed. On opening the box I discovered that it would have been even better if the plants inside had been packed the right way up instead of on their sides. There was a lot of loose compost, 2 plants looked okay but one of the clematis had broken in half and the other was horribly bent. The plants looked tiny, straggly and just generally awful considering that the online price was £9.99 each.
I will never order from them again. Their service and customer service are absolutely atrocious.

As usual my plants from Thompson Morgan were careful packed and quickly delivered after ordering. They've failed to let me down yet.

I ordered purple sprouting broccoli to harvest in early spring. The crop failed so, without consultation, they sent calabrese, which would crop autumn, plus a £5 discount off my next order. The calabrese plants were very poor , with only one or 2 leaves, and those were wilted. I had to request a refund, which was granted immediately, so I gave 2 stars.

First time buyer of plants online. OK, I have to confess when I opened the box I was a bit worried. The hanging baskets had been securely packaged so the plants looked cramped; I was afraid they would die. I put them in place and by the next morning they looked great. They are thriving. Really good quality plants. Will definitely be buying from Thompson and Morgan again.

Ordered a hedge/garden trimmer, arrived and went to fit hedge strimmer blade. Grass trimmer was fitted and goes on and off easily. Read instructions tried to fit Hedge strimmer blade but the hole that fits over the drive pin would not fit. Gave up after several attempts as did not want to break item and contacted T&M by e mail. (Premium phone line and kept on hold!) Have now had several e mails telling me to read the instructions properly and that there is nothing wrong. Refusing to refund P&P as not faulty in their view. Have bought from them many times before, never again.

I couldn’t get a special offer code to work on my order. Without any trouble, the discount was honoured when I contacted customer service even though the offer had finished the previous day. The lady was so professional and patient and dealt with the order straightaway. Thankyou. I wouldn’t buy my plants anywhere else as I’ve had excellent service (and plants) from this company for several years now.

Not received any plants yet. First ones were damaged by Evri and now they keep being pushed back. One now not coming till March. Very disappointing. Will never order anything again 😡

Fine for bulbs, although the postage is expensive. "garden ready/postiplugs" totally hopeless, not a single one grew out of three or four deliveries and they aren't cheap for teensy only just pencil thick seedlings/cuttings. 3 litre pots also fine, just avoid those that are tiny and posted through the letterbox, most are dead on arrival.
