I’d been looking to upgrade my Alesis e drum kit to something more realistic for quite a while, and after researching online, the Millenium MPS 1000 consistently received positive reviews, and YouTube reviews were also very favourable.
The entire experience with Thomann was exceptional from ease of navigating the website, finding the produce I was after at a fantastic price, through to delivery.
As for the bundle package, it met every expectation and more, from excellent build quality, realistic feel and sound.

I attempted to order a drum kit through Thomann and it was not a pleasant experience. The delivery date was constantly being moved around. Their responses were swift but cryptic and ambiguous. I was told that the drums would "arrive in a few days." Then a few days would pass and nothing. I finally asked them for specifics, and they said they had no idea when the drums would ship. They finally sent me an email saying it would be months.
A complete waste of time. Better to shop for your instruments elsewhere.

Poor. Lack of communication and transparency along with poor customer service. Pretty frightening to have made this purchase. Kept in the dark. Delivery of guitar put me back into the light. Way,way too long a delivery after such a pricey purchase. Won’t be coming back for more…

As a UK customer, considering their warehouse is in the EU, they do a great job in dispatching and having orders delivered in a timely fashion, usually in under a week.

The assortment is huge. Prices are good even if the occational product can be found slightly cheaper elsewhere. Checkout is straighforward and shipping is good. The goods is on its’ way in a day or so, and it is always reliable, and tracking works like a charm. So far, they would be just below the highest score, but here comes the best part, the customer service. Their support is knowledgeable, respectful and prompt. I’ve had two product complaints, which have been handled meticulously. I even had a non catalogue request they could help me with. Great homepage, too, with wishlist options.

I had a very disappointing experience with Thomann.
I ordered and paid for a Yamaha YDP-145 (around €1,000), but received a completely different product (Thomann DP-32), which is worth around €500. This is a clear delivery error on their side, meaning the contract was never properly fulfilled.
When I contacted customer service, I was shocked by the response I received. Instead of acknowledging the mistake or trying to find a solution, they simply dismissed the issue.
At no point was there any willingness to investigate, take responsibility, or offer a fair resolution. The tone was rigid and unhelpful, which is extremely disappointing for a company of this size.
I expected much better customer care and accountability.
Be cautious when ordering - if something goes wrong, you may be left without any support.

Excellent service:
I highly recommend shopping at this store—they processed my order very quickly and without any issues, and were very accommodating when I accidentally ordered the wrong product.

UPDATE — 20/04/2026:
THOMANN ARE IGNORING MY EMAILS ATTEMPTING TO COORDINATE THE RETURN OF MIS-SOLD GOODS FOR WHICH THOMANN HAS MADE ME AN INVOLUNTARY BAILEE. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, DO NO OFFER YOUR CUSTOM TO THOMANN. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
I purchased a Gretsch electric guitar along with a Fender amp from Thomann in the hopes of bringing some joy into my life after experiencing a period of homelessness and dark thoughts.
Unfortunately, I never got to open the guitar or amp and I am now in the process of sending both items back after Thomann mis-sold me an opened box product as new (the guitar amp) without disclosing this to me at the point of purchase. I promptly reported the issue and they claimed it was opened "for inspection"; regardless, the damage was done as my trust in Thomann was repaid with deceit. I extended an olive branch and requested that a replacement amp be sent out which could then be swapped for the opened box item during delivery by a courier; a reasonable request, but Thomann flat out refused to accomodate this.
Thomann have also tried to shift the burden of responsibility onto me for returning the mis-sold amp by requesting I print/write out returns forms and handwrite codes on the boxes — I refuse to do the admin work to rectify the return of goods not as described which were sold to me.
By treating me like this, Thomann's actions have plunged me back into a psychological abyss. I will never forgive this, and Thomann will not receive my custom ever again.
Thomann's CEO and his assistant have ignored my numerous emails. I find this very telling insofar as how common this practice of selling opened items as new must be at Thomann's warehouses.
Thomann does not have the integrity to publish this review on their own website, so I'll be sure to post it here and across the web in the hope of warning others from doing business with this crooked company.
Any attempts by Thomann to suppress my review and/or deny me a full refund will be met with a Letter Before Action. I take my consumer rights very seriously and will never shy away from confronting entities that believe they're above the laws and regulations of the UK.

I purchased a Cobalt 5s from Thomann online, it came as stated in the advert.
I could not for the life of me get a "peep out of it", so I sent Modal Electronics (the makers) an email asking for help. I did NOT get a reply to my HELP message.
I contacted Thomann and got HELP every step of the way. This help was amazing - I am returning it back to them and they get 5 STARS fore THEIR HELP in helping me return it.

I am extremely disappointed with how this case is being handled.
My order was marked as delivered, but I never received the package.
DHL has officially confirmed that the delivery protocol was not followed: the courier did not obtain my signature and instead registered it himself. This effectively invalidates the proof of delivery.
Despite this, Thomann continues to rely on an invalid “delivered” status and refuses to provide any solution (replacement or refund) until their internal investigation is completed, which may take up to 60 working days.
I have fully cooperated and followed all suggested steps. I checked with all neighbors, including through our building’s residents group, and no one has received the package.
At this point, there is no valid evidence that the package was delivered, and yet I am being asked to wait weeks without a solution. This is not acceptable. The responsibility for delivery clearly lies with the seller until the goods are actually received by the customer.
This is also the second time I experience a delivery issue with Thomann, which significantly undermines my trust in the company.
I expect a proper resolution without further delay.
I will update this review once the issue is properly resolved.
UPDATE:
The company is asking me to wait up to 60 working days for an “investigation” while I have neither the product nor my money. This is unacceptable.
The courier has already admitted that the signature was not properly obtained. Therefore, the delivery confirmation is invalid. The package was not delivered to me.
I have reported this case to the police. This situation is the result of failures in the delivery process, and it is the seller’s responsibility to resolve it — not mine.
Expecting a customer to wait two months under these circumstances is unreasonable. I expect an immediate refund.

They are really good and have a lot of options to choose from. At least for entry levels. I am really satisfied with them as a company and really appreciate how fast they were to solve an issue I had with my Bass. I'd give them 5 stars without any issue if it wasn´t because they ship their items with the absolute worst delivery company there is in Europe, DHL. They are super slow and inaccurate.

Their site is really intuitive and their prices are really competitive.
I am from Greece and I needed support for my order and the customer support (from the people responsible for Greece and Cyprus) were amazing. The best customer support I ever got. Knew their domain, super nice and always to the point with their answer!

I purchased a Neural DSP Quad Cortex in September 2024. After about a year of flawless use, the unit developed a serious fault — extremely low input levels across all inputs, with loss of dynamics and sound quality.
The unit was sent for repair through Thomann. The process took approximately three months. According to the service report, the I/O board was replaced — but the fault was never confirmed before the repair, and the result was never verified afterwards. When I received the unit back, the problem was completely unchanged.
I have provided Thomann with detailed documentation: video of the fault, controlled measurements from all three inputs, and a comparison against another unit under identical conditions showing a 20–25 dB difference. The manufacturer (Neural DSP) has reviewed the case and was unable to confirm whether the unit is within specification. The email thread between myself, Thomann and Neural DSP contains 55 emails — they have not been accommodating at all.
Despite all of this, Thomann refused to offer a refund or replacement. They repeatedly insisted on another repair cycle — without answering whether a confirmed fault would actually lead to a resolution. They also tried to shift responsibility to the manufacturer's warranty, even though my claim is directed at Thomann as the seller.
I have been without a functioning unit since November 2025 — nearly five months. As a long-time customer who has never previously had an issue, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. I expected far better from Thomann.

2026-04-14: Thomann has now invited me to contact their review team, and I have done so. I hope this leads to a fair resolution. Will update this post :)
--
2026-04-20: The case has been escalated to Thomann's Nordic Team Leader. However, the response indicates that Thomann intends to process this as a standard warranty service request — meaning I need to return the unit again via PostNord and wait for inspection, with no commitment to a specific timeline or outcome. The previous repair cycle took approximately three months. I have no reason to expect this will be faster. My complaints to ECC Norway and the chargeback process through my card provider remain active and will continue in parallel.

I never received my item which DHL claimed they delivered to me, but in fact, delivered to a wrong address which refused it. Thomann refuses to refund me £77.90 despite DHL's photo showing wrong delivery location and DHL's admssion to me that they delivered to a wrong place. DHL never got back to me afterwards.
Because DHL's system claims that it was delivered to my address, Thomann will ignore all my evidence gathered and refuses to give me my refund or replacement, saying they must "investigate."
I did two weeks of investigation for Thomann and chased down what happened with evidence, but neither Thomann nor their chosen courier DHL is showing accountability nor empathy.
£77.90 is a drop in a bucket for these two companies. But for a student on a budget who saved up for weeks to buy a reed cutter for my saxophone practice, it is a fortune.
What an unempathetic, unprofessional company.

I ordered a Cordier Reed cutter for my saxophone and paid their shipping fee. DHL claimed to have delivered to my address signed for it by a nonexistent "sam"

I’m very disappointed with my recent return experience at Thomann. It’s been over two weeks since I sent the item back and I still haven’t received my refund. According to the tracking information, the return has been stuck at customs for eight days now with no progress. The whole process feels far too slow compared to other retailers. I expected a smoother and faster resolution from a company of Thomann’s size and reputation
