I cannot tell you how much I would advise NEVER to use Snellers.
Lettings: I bought from them 9 years ago. Rented my property out straight away as I had to move abroad.
It is clear they are driven by commission to have call outs. Had a leak issue in 2022 and have now spent over 3200 sterling in call outs with no resolution and just caused unspeakable damage. In total 5400 pounds. I managed to get my own contractor and it is resolved. Even back in 2017 boiler issue. 5 call outs ( approx) Triple the cost of a boiler. No consultative, "it may be worth getting a new boiler" When I had issues I was clearly told that its not a big deal if you don't renew the contract. "It's not a million pound property" I Just kept with them as I was far away and had a new baby.
The cost now of fixing the leak and the damage if resolved from the start has now cost me £6400 plus not been able to sell my flat. I also had monies taken out of my account 300 pounds for tax as Iive abroad with no communication even though I manage this with my accountant. No email just taken and then once I found out it I got a form signed. The icing on then cake was after all these issues this month.... me solving the issue with my contractor and dealing directly with tenants, clearly upset and where it was notified "my contractor was only person who knows what he is doing" got my contractor to fix loads of things in the apartment new hob, handles, Lights etc... that was not reported.I was then charged this month a full property management fee, 60 pounds admin tax fee plus the tax which my accountant is dealing with. £600 Throughout the 9 years, I blame myself as I should have changed but felt I was in good hands and just paid what was needed in response everything, really in good measure. I knew there was a leak but felt it was fixed. It was only Novemeber/ December I was told that again a problem. It was not done properly. The damage on the wall was so bad that could have been preventable.
Sales team: really good and proactive. I put the flat on the market as was advised with new laws coming in. No offers. Photos that were taken had plates and washing to the side. 15 viewings. no offers. It was only when I saw the reality, the damage down on the walls when I asked a sales agent to send to me. I was disgusted. I took it straight off the market. Alot of time wasted on all sides.
We had a great experience with our estate agent, Sam. He was professional, responsive and communication was clear and prompt. Very easy to deal with.

I would like to thank Emma Wheeler for an excellent service and very friendly and professional. Emma answered all my questions, explaining everything very clearly and calmly. I highly recommend the Teddington Office team.
We are extremely disappointed with Snellers. The property was misrepresented — shown in poor lighting without electricity, disadvantaging my uncle with weak eyesight. Serious issues existed from day one: a faulty electric meter, broken bed and wardrobe with mould/damaged mirrored doors, visible wall cracks, ongoing mould and damp, a rotten fridge, a leaking/toilet seat, parking fines despite our allocated space, and general health and safety hazards. These raise questions about why a 3-year contract was required and whether valid health and safety certification was in place.
Our family circumstances changed drastically: my uncle developed gangrene, spent seven months in hospital, and lost a leg. The property’s poor conditions may have worsened his health. Despite this, the agency showed no empathy, was hostile, and prioritized financial gain. When communicating with the landlord, it became clear that the agency had been dishonest — they misled him about our intentions while continuing to show us other properties.
We were forced to pay double rent due to delays in confirming early termination. Despite fully vacating the property, we are still awaiting confirmation of termination and our full deposit.
We request clear justification for: the agency’s commission, the 3-year contract on a faulty property, showing it without electricity, unresolved parking fines, ignored urgent repairs like the leaking toilet, and the validity of health and safety certification at the time of letting. Evidence, including photos and messages, has been uploaded. This unprofessional pattern aligns with other 1-star reviews.
For the agency, we suggest books to improve professionalism, empathy, and kindness: How to Win Friends and Influence People (Dale Carnegie), The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari (Robin Sharma), and Emotional Intelligence (Daniel Goleman).
We hope this feedback encourages accountability, honesty, and better treatment of tenants in the future.

Disgusting abuse of power.
Willingly took references and holding deposit for a flat following a viewing.
Then allowed the landlord to withdraw it from under my nose, leaving me with nothing and nowhere to go.
Avoid at all costs as a renter. Landlord pulled the rug from under them. Don't be fooled.

They arranged viewing without permission.
Failed to respond to requests to withdraw marketing despite contract ended.
Asked for keys back. Told to collect and bring ID.
Cowboys.
Kelly Baldwin helped to resolve a longstanding issue which had been the bane of my existence. I can’t commend highly enough how much she persevered until everything was resolved. She kept me informed every step of the way and was a real pleasure to deal with!

I have been working with Snellers to manager property for over 10 years. Kelly Baldwin runs a very professional team and I would recommend Snellers to other landlords.

This is a review of the Teddington Management Services. They are are the worse company to deal with and completely incompetent. They have failed to run a section 20 notice in a compliant manner and it is now all the freeholders fault (I have obtained legal advice to confirm it is not). They have not advised in accordance with their role as a management company, they ignore emails even after numerous chases, they only answer emails partially and completely gaslight customers. The time to reply is unacceptable when asking for information that should be readily available. It took 18months to get roof works started and now we have issues with the work/supplier and Snellers are not representing the freeholders correctly. When the supplier says they are not returning they have said ok. I have already taken them to the ombudsman once for this project and with the service currently being provided will likely need to do the same again.

This is a review for the Teddington office. I cannot believe how many emails this company sends out that are incorrect! It is incompetence at the highest level. I would never recommend them as they 100% can't get accounting correct and write emails that are impossible to understand. Not a one off but going on for months.

Snellers Twickenham Office is very competent to find qualified tenant for you without any hassle. Their service is great, professional and very efficient. The only point worthy to mention is to fully review contract and propose any questions if any query before sign. Very organized and professional team.

Snellers have been letting out our property for 15 years whilst we are offshore and the fact that we are still with them speaks volumes. They have been great at vetting tenants, collecting rent on time and have helped with renovations in our absence.
More recently we have been dealing with Geeta and I would like to thank her for all her help and responsiveness.

Property managed by Snellers and recently Shaun has taken a lead role as our point of contact.
In the short time Shaun has been overseeing the management of the property, he has been efficient and dealt with matters in a timely manner. We hope this continues going forward and look forward to a long, mutually beneficial working relationship.

Snellers manages the property that I intended to purchase. I was asked to complete a pet consent form for a fee of 144 GBP. Multiple emails to Pryce at Sellers did not receive a response. Finally, contrary to the terms of the leasehold, I was told no dogs allowed. I asked for a refund of the fee since there was no reason so submit a pet consent form for a dog since dogs were prohibited anyway. No response on refund.

I have used Snellers St Margarets as a letting agent for several years to fully manage my properties. I recently had a complicated maintenance issue which was handled by Geeta Sharma and I was very impressed with the way she proactively managed the situation, communicating between myself, the tenants and various trades to resolve a time sensitive issue to everyone's satisfaction.

I've had dealings with various property managers within Snellers since inheriting the flat from my father that they have managed for years. It's currently Shaun Brayshaw, who has been prompt, efficient and courteous in dealing with my queries and assorted issues. I can recommend the company based on many years of family experience.
