Despite clowning about from a colleague who has the need to constantly crave attention. The teacher did not get flustered and relayed the necessary information to the rest of the class.

Wonderful Training amazing First Aid training in Milton Keynes

Just passed my refresher full certificate, very easy to understand just enough detail for me to know exactly what i need to do and when to do it. where the training was held, very accessible and easy to find and decent premises. our trainer was jake ketcher, very knowledgeable very calm and collective, he made it easy to understand in a well presented way. he makes you feel competent that in a real life emergancy i know what to do and could save someones life.

The course had online learning prior to a face to face days training. The combination worked well. The trainer was full of knowledge and he made the course interesting and enjoyable

Overall, it was excellent, especially the second day of training. The second day of my first aider at work re qualification was excellent. The trainer was brilliant with excellent knowledge to impart. We did lots of practical work and quizzes and I felt confident in all the written questions and practical tests for the assessments.
We had a different trainer on the first day. This trainer was lovely but missed some parts of the training - specifically DRABC and other acronyms. Most importantly, we had been trained to do a log roll just to be informed on the second day that this has been taken away from the first aider role and that we may not do this as guidance has changed. I’m very grateful to our second trainer as otherwise I would have completed the course thinking I should do this in an emergency when I suspected a spinal injury and a person is choking/vomiting when I should not. However, those things aside, it is excellent training but maybe does depend which trainer you get, as the one on the first day clearly was not up to date on current guidance, whereas the second trainer was first class in every respect.

I have been on two MHFA training and St Johns was by far the better course. Vey interactive. We were up and about, plenty of discussion. Much better than sitting watching slides and have a trainer describe what's on them. Would definitely recommend anyone to take this course.

I recently completed a First Aid course with St John Ambulance and found the trainer to be absolutely fantastic. Their explanations were clear, practical, and engaging, and they created a supportive environment that made learning easy and enjoyable.
One area for improvement relates to the training room. The space was quite small, and during the training practice we had to occationally lie directly on the floor. For future sessions, providing mats and ensuring a larger room would make the practical elements more comfortable and safer for participants.
Overall, the course was excellent, and with a small adjustment to the room setup, it would be even better.

The Training staff were excellent at explaining the course content

Such a great training day. We came across feeling confident in our ability to help and provide first aid, and having learnt so much. The instructors were patient, welcoming and knowledgeable - it was brilliant.

I had fun while learning how to deal with emergency situations at workplace, The trainers are professionals and well qualified. The experience was really amazing and got to learn lots of things that can help people a lot.

Wasn't as practical as previous courses I've had for Fire Marshalling

Excellent trainer. Went to him and explained ive got autism and adhd and he was very attentive and kind. His frustrations started to show though later in the afternoon and it was obvious he'd run out of patience for a few people. Enjoyed the day otherwise
