I have attended several first aid courses over the years, but this one was by far the standout, largely due to the fantastic instructor, Kirsty. Although first aid is a serious subject, the course was engaging and enjoyable. It is an invaluable skill to have, and I now feel much more confident that I could deal with an emergency should the need arise.
Trainer was active and enthusiastic about the training.
Overall it was a great experience got to learn lot of things which will not only help me at my work place but also in my daily life.
I found the training information all good and helpful.
But the trainer was a bit obnoxious ...whenever we asked questions he would look at us like we was stupid.
Then he got the hump if we didnt ask questions

Reply from St John Ambulance (England) - Training courses
The delivery of the course content encouraged much more interaction between the group and the trainer, which made the experience far more engaging. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Kerry is a fantastic trainer, and the small group created a great dynamic that encouraged discussion, participation and learning. I would highly recommend this course.
Attended the First Aid at Work' Requalification course The two days were excellently put together and maximised the student knowledge whist also updating on recent changes. The course lead Julie was excellent, informative and kept a great balance between skills, practical and assessments.
I went for the 2 day refresher in-person course. Sue was an incredible teacher, she made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident throughout the course, her teaching style covered all learning styles and she made subjects relatable and easy to remember. I hope Sue is my teacher again next time!
Paula was amazing at training us all in First Aid, I have learnt so much, and ready to face being a First Aider in the Big wide world and in the workplace. I feel confident that I could make a difference to some ones life.
The course and trainers was amazing, there was no question that was a silly question. And each module was delivered perfectly
Decent First Aid course in Preston with a knowledgeable instructor. Thanks, Nigel.
Mental Health First Aid Course (MHFA) completed- very good content well delivered by trainer over 2 days
I recently attended a Fire Warden Training course delivered by St John Ambulance. The trainer was professional, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the session. The course was well organised, easy to follow, and included plenty of practical examples that made the content easy to understand. I would highly recommend this training to anyone who needs Fire Warden certification. Thank you for an excellent learning experience!
Kathryn was a great first aid trainer. She explained everything really well and made everything feel comfortable when we had to complete the practical tests. I left feeling very knowledgable and ready to take on my role as first aider with confidence.
I did the first aid course with trainer Lisa. She was absolutely brilliant. Such an efficient yet lovely and kind woman. She was supportive, knowledgeable and made the course very enjoyable!! I would 100% do it again with Lisa!! The course covered everything and Lisa made it fun and entertaining so that it didn’t feel hard to take in the information. Amazing course! Amazing trainer, 5stars from me.
Recently received some Emergency first aid at work training from St Johns. This is the second time I have received training and as always, it was fantastic. Steve was extremely knowledgeable, humorous and used real world examples whilst delivering the content. Would highly recommend
Nigel was brilliant throughout the course and was very supportive. Nigel is very passionate about first aid and is a credit to St John’s ambulance!
