Simplehuman restored my faith in…

Simplehuman restored my faith in Corporations! After a small mishap, they went above and beyond to make things right and I sincerely appreciate it! So much so that I have just placed another order for the 10L stainless steel pedal bin as nothing on the market compares to this bin! Thanks Simplehuman!!

Having had our 58L bin for 5 years and…

Having had our 58L bin for 5 years and been very happy with it, it finally succumbed to its use and part of the opening mechanism broke. Happily though a couple of quick exchanges with simple human customer service and a brand new bin is on its way under warranty. Really good service and company.

Excellent customer service from Larrni

Excellent customer service from Larrni, Hannah & Renwil Mae the issue with my mirror was resolved easily with a few emails to establish the problem and a replacement issued promptly.

Kitchen sensor waste bin

After 10 loyal years, my Simplehuman kitchen sensor waste bin finally had to be replaced.

I have just bought the replacement online

I had to email the customer service department as I had forgotten to claim my 10% voucher and they retrospectively gave me a refund

such honesty.

Can’t wait for my grandchildren to start using the new bin.

The sensor is amazing. You don’t have to touch the bin at all

Highly recommend this Company, and of course, the Sensor waste bin

Warranty resolution

We had a problem with our bin and we contacted Simplehuman initially by telephone and they asked us to send information and photos. This was done today ( Monday ) and by the end of the day it was sorted and a replacement bin on its way.
The service was fantastic and big thank you to Renwil, Simplehuman, you should be very proud of your staff.
Keep up the good work,service like this is vital in this day and age.

Flimsy eyesore dishrack and poor customer service

I bought the dishrack cost £110 when assembled it was a flimsy plastic eyesore- attempted to return it and despite not even seeing it - Simplehuman claimed it was used and would not accept the return
Avoid this company- expensive plastic trash / and dreadful customer treatment

I have spent time today reviewing your case and can confirm that you raised a return request for our Steel frame dishrack. As part of the email communication with my team, you advised them that the dishrack has been assembled and washed. This therefore confirmed to my team that the item had been removed from the packaging and used.

Unfortunately we only accept returns that are unused and in their original packaging, as stated on our website.

I can confirm that our standard dishrack is predominantly stainless steel, with a plastic drip tray.

I wasted a morning of my time asking…

I wasted a morning of my time asking why I hadn’t received a code that promised 10% discount as a first time buyer. AI acknowledged it was the company’s error but asked me to wait for a team member to resolve it. It could possibly be that day or not. It was only after threatening to abandon my purchase that the code was instantly provided and I got the discount. Is that the company’s usual mode of operation? It doesn’t make for goodwill or for possible future purchases.

I wanted to just provide some context to the events that unfolded on chat.

I can see that you came onto our chat on Wednesday at around 11am. You followed the steps on our chat with the bot and after you provided some context that you had signed up as a member but not received your 10% discount code, you were transferred to a member of my team.

They proceeded to run through the usual checks we do with customers to ensure the code hadn't got stuck in your spam folder. After the initial checks they reached out to the wider team to check our back end systems to see if a code had been sent, this can take a few minutes so I'm sorry this caused a delay.

We were able to see from our back end system that a code had been generated when you initially signed up in 2025 when your account was created with us. This initial code expired due to the time between when the account was created and when you contacted us to use the code.

We then generated a new code for you to use. I can confirm that this was sorted by my team within 8 minutes of them advising they needed to check with the wider team and the new code was sent to you.

I have also reached out to you directly to provide some explanation and if you have any further questions please do let me know.

A fast and generous service.

A part broke on my bin. They were unable to provide a replacement so, despite being well out of warranty, sent me a new bin. Everything was resolved in just a few days.

Fantastic service

I had a small issue with a triple dispenser over 2 years after purchase. I contacted Simplehuman and within 2 hours a replacement was on it's way. Fantastic service. 5 stars +++.

Extremely fragile mirror

My light up compact mirror broke after gently rolling off my low bed onto a thick pile rug. Contacted customer support to be told no parts are available as only sold as a whole unit, then a second email stating it’s now been discontinued anyway. According to simplehuman it’s not covered under the 5 year warranty as it was an accident, not taken into consideration possibility of poor workmanship. Been offered 10% discount on a future purchase, which is insulting.
In my opinion this mirror was incompatible for normal life and extremely poor quality. Possibly the reason for it no longer being produced.
Please be very wary before purchasing from this company.

Outstanding customer service

I had a problem with the plastic internal bin so contacted their customer service dept. I received an email within 24 hours and less than 3 days later they had replaced the whole bin! I have to say that their customer service was outstanding, I just expected to get a replacement internal bin but no, they sent me the whole unit. Excellent service all round.

Reached out regarding parts for my bin

Reached out regarding parts for my bin, Simple Human. Came back to me within their time scale, unfortunately couldn't help with my bin lid due to age ( probably over ten years) offer 10% off a new one. Looks like they are cheaper on Amazon anyway.
Will by another bin, not cheap but it did last.
