I called them today to arrange replacement of a blown pane under guarantee, and replacement of another outside of guarantee. In a world of generally terrible customer service, this company is standout hero. They have everything right about knowing how to run a company people will (and do) trust. Everything they do is great - fantastic service all round, and fantastic management. The only place to go in Sheffield for windows. Pity there are not more companies who operate this way.

Had front bays and a smaller window replaced. Id not realised just how draught the previous ones had gotten!
Fantastic customer service from start to finish, I felt the price was fair, the fitters were excellent, hard working, polite and very tidy! I figured i would need to redecorate after the fit, but, they were so good you couldn't tell they had been replaced at all around the join with the wall. The fitters even pointed out i didnt need a sil I'd asked for and this reduced the overall cost.
We had unfortunate timing with the weather and snow! But the company took all the disruption in their stride and kept me well informed of delays.
Today, a beautiful bunch of flowers arrived as a thankyou, as someone who rarley gets flowers, this was a beautiful touch that really made my day! ( I would have left a brilliant review regardless of the flowers 💐)
Thankyou so much

Would highly recommend, Wesley the sales rep visited explaining and advising us on different things we hadn't thought about, had about a ten week wait which we thought it would be. The fitters John and Jack worked extremely hard turning up on time, very polite and courteous, tidying up not leaving any mess did an excellent job, finished before the scheduled time.

Thank you. The customer service from start to finish with Luke the sales rep and the fitters was amazing - they were all kind and personable. The quality of the doors is great too. We will definitely use Sheffield window centre again for future windows/doors.

Quick estimate visit after initial inquiry and a good priced quote, NO after visit sales pressure. Follow up site survey gave more options which we considered and discussed in depth. Not a long wait for fitting date and fitters turned up promptly and John & Richard did an excellent job, we're well pleased, thanks. Just had the FENSA inspector visit and he says everything is done correctly and a good job. Also said Sheffield Window Centre are an excellent company. What more do you want?

A fantastic company. They have fitted windows and doors for us - all good quality and an excellent service given. An overzealous delivery driver broke the front door letterbox. Sheffield Windows found the 10 year guarantee for the door issued in 2018. They came out today at time given and have replaced letterbox under guarantee- fantastic service - wonderful company:-)

Really efficient, professional company to deal with. No pushy sales people. Nothing to pay upfront, you pay in full when the work is completed to your satisfaction. The door they fitted is top quality. The fitter did a great job and left everything neat and tidy. He explained how to lock and unlock the door, how to care for it etc. We highly recommend Sheffield Window Centre.

The windows and doors were fitted when they were promised. The quality of the windows and frames is very good. The door quality is very good although the back door seems stiff and is much harder to open than the front. We have discovered since, that the back door is also sometimes difficult to lock but this is remedied by pushing on the door just above the handle while turning the key.
Whilst they were here, one of the fitters confirmed that he knew how to transfer the alarm sensor to the new door but after they had left, we discovered that we were unable to set the alarm at all. We called the alarm company who visited and discovered that the magnet inside the sensor was missing. Once it was replaced, the problem was fixed.
Overall, the experience was good but it left me slightly disappointed that the Sheffield Window Centre fitters did not leave the alarm in working order or mention that they were unable to do so.

Not interested in small orders. I simply wanted a single window replaced, got a quote and agreed to go ahead. They then added scaffolding charges, which didn't make sense. The window overlooks a flat roof extension, which they wanted scaffolding to the right and back of the extension, but not the left which is closer to the window than the back of the extension. They were unable to provide simple information about weight bearing, which I needed as my house was built in 1860s the drainage isn't to modern standards. Interestingly my neighbour is having roofing work and the scaffolding has been placed on the extension, which I had assumed Sheffield Window Centre would have done, rather than their "plan". I suspect the charge was added as didn't want the job. Other companies have said they don't do single windows upfront.
Staff were discourteous and repeatly didn't follow instructions about use of phone number.
As you can see from the response no common sense. If you need scaffolding for 5m away from the window, then why not 3m to the left, so no interest in employee safety. No response to why they couldn't give weight bearing of scaffolding, so I could assess if impact drains which aren't to a modern standard and they wanted the back scaffolding on a french drain (also a safety concern, as well as property). Rejected work due to where the scaffolding was not the actual scaffolding.
Edge protection would be fine, but I was told it was scaffolding around two sides of the extension, however you refused to give me the information needed to ensure your employees safety and my property i.e. If you put scaffolding on a drain that isn't to modern depth, might collapse or on the step. To quote your representative, "The job will require scaffolding to carry out the work" email 13-Jan-2025 12:43. At not point did you mention edge protection, you said it wouldn't be on the roof, which my initial thought and the argument that if you need on the back of the extension, but not the nearer left-side is a mystery. Please note the original response to this review Sheffield Window Centre also said scaffolding needed.
I think HSE wouldn't agree with your assessment, as I said you had no interest in safety 3m to right, but 5m to back needed scaffolding.

Left a review shortly after the work was completed. Not my upgraded conservatory and new roof is finally complete I just wanted to add an extra thank you to the amazing workmanship and fitters. I am soooooo happy with my new usable room. No high pressure sales pitch either.

If you are looking for the most professional, reliable and trustworthy window company in South Yorkshire then in my opinion there is only one choice.
Sheffield Window Centre have recently replaced all twelve windows in our house where both the quality of the frames and the workmanship is excellent. Their fitting team were efficient and respectful completing the work within the planned timescales and leaving our property clean and tidy.
Having researched the market beforehand it soon became clear that SWC are the strongest and most reliable player in the Sheffield area with continuous trading for almost 50 years. As a family run business their approach to customer service is first class with experienced and reassuring advice at every stage of the process.
I strongly recommend Sheffield Window Centre for high quality products and superb workmanship.
