I'm so disappointed with this dress
I'm so disappointed with this dress. I'm not happy at all with the quality of the dress for the price I paid. It feels like it would easily rip and is see through. For paying over £300 I expected much more. It also came with a stain on the collar and very wrinkled. And the parcel had been left lying outside my house on the steps - again for the price I paid I don't think this is acceptable. Really disappointed as I bought this to wear for the day two of my wedding but I won't now due to the material.

Really beautiful clothing but customer service is lacking
Really beautiful clothing which I love and generally of a very high quality. Customer service though is quite poor. I bought a linen top/vest in the Kings Road store which had a fault and communication via email/phone call was none existent I had to go into store to speak to someone in person. In store they were quick to exchange the item but then when I got it home I realised this item also had a fault.

I bought five different dresses, and the quality is outstanding! Their vintage designs and unique prints make my outfits perfect for any occasion. The in-store experience was amazing—the shops are wonderful, and the visual merchandising is something worth seeing at least once!

I bought this beautiful dress for my godson’s wedding this July.I’d actually started looking back in January and had a few RIXO dresses in mind, but I just couldn’t get this one out of my head, so I finally took the plunge and bought it the Marni blue Backless satin dress .
I’m not the smallest, so I was really hoping the size 14 would fit. When it arrived, I was over the moon with how flattering it was. I felt like a million dollars on the day and received so many compliments.

Rixo for everyone…
I first met Henrietta and Orlagh back in 2017 at the BFC when they won DHL’s Fashion Export Award. I actually created the award programme and spent months reading thousands of entries. Even then, RIXO stood out as a brand with huge global potential.
If I’m honest, I never imagined it would be a brand for me. Two pregnancies and one lockdown later, I’d convinced myself RIXO wasn’t made for women with boobs, hips and curves.
Fast forward to 2026, and I bought my very first RIXO dress at Bicester Village… and I was completely bowled over.
From the glamorous changing rooms (proof that attention to detail doesn’t stop, even at the outlet) to the inclusive sizing, I couldn’t believe how good I felt. Can designer fashion really be for everyone? Apparently, yes.
I found a beautiful dress that celebrated my figure instead of making me feel I had to hide it. I wore it to BST Hyde Park and was stopped so many times with compliments.
The very next day I headed to the King’s Road flagship store. Ladies, you’ve done good. The store is an experience in itself. That gorgeous sunken bar had me wanting to sit down and celebrate. It genuinely feels like Harry Styles or a supermodel could stroll in at any moment.
Long story short: stunning prints, beautiful craftsmanship, and sale prices that make stepping into the #RIXOHuman world feel genuinely accessible.
I’ve since ordered two more dresses ready for my 50th birthday holiday, and for the first time in a long time, I’m excited to get dressed.
I’m incredibly proud to have spotted RIXO’s potential all those years ago—but even happier to have finally discovered it’s a brand for me too.

Really disappointed
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience.
I purchased a skirt from Rixo at a premium price, expecting the quality to match the brand’s reputation. After wearing it only twice, the fabric had literally worn through in two places, leaving two holes in the skirt. This is clearly not what anyone would expect from such an expensive garment.
I went to the store hoping they would help resolve the issue, but instead I was simply told there was nothing they could do and that it was all my fault.
My family owns retail stores in Italy, and I know that when a customer comes in with a genuine fault, you do everything possible to make it right, whether that’s replacing the item, repairing it, or at the very least offering a refund. You certainly don’t send the customer away empty-handed.
What disappointed me even more than the poor quality of the skirt was the complete lack of customer service. For a brand that positions itself as premium, I expected both better quality and better after-sales support.
Sadly, this experience has completely changed my perception of Rixo, and I will think twice before purchasing from the brand again.

Be aware of difficult returns
Dress was not at all as shown and the returns process was over complicated and expensive. They state returns are via the post office and you pay £4 for them to process. But actually the post office don’t accept the return you have to take it to a Royal Mail distribution centre. The only one near me is 3 miles outside town in an industrial estate- impossible to access via public transport. Really wish I hadn’t ordered it, especially as the item was not at all as described, it feels unfair to have to pay to return. I have sent them a message including photos of the item clearly not as described. I wouldn’t order from them again even though their website and photos look lovely, it just doesn’t match in real life!

This is the standard returns process, so there's no need to take your parcel to a Royal Mail distribution centre.
