RIXO’s story began in the London living room of best friends Henrietta Rix & Orlagh McCloskey, born from their passion for vintage. Our philosophy is to evoke a wanderlust & free spirit in all our wearers, filling a gap in the contemporary market with easy-to-wear, feminine shapes and high quality materials. Always inclusive, always empowering, we create a fusion of original hand-painted prints and timeless silhouettes to flatter every woman, irrespective of age, season, size, nationality or time of day. London Carnaby Street Rixo- chef’s kiss!!!
Hadn’t planned it but ended up with a really personalised shopping experience. The sales assistant really listened to me and simply brought me what she thought would work for me. I’m a size 12 with 32g bust so always assume dresses are going to be tricky.
Everything I tried was perfect, flattering, draped as though it was tailored to me. Has pretty much transformed how I’m wearing clothes and allowing me to be more feminine and playful with my wardrobe.
These are investment pieces that you’re going to wear and wear. Invest in yourself - and a British brand that’s being really creative.

I chose the Sandrine Poppy Jacquard dress from Rixo for my wedding day and couldn’t be happier. The bridal collection feels both current and timeless and I can’t wait to wear it when I tie the knot this summer!

The dress I ordered arrived quickly in lovely packaging. Love the print and it fits perfectly!

Absolutely love Rixo. The clothes are unique and beautiful. The fit is perfect every time. The perfect place to go to buy a dress for an occasion or just for day to day.

Designs are beautiful and the quality of the garments is great. The only downside is that they’re definitely designed for tall/taller people than me, so it’s harder to envision how an item will look after tailoring. The items feel so unique though that they’re worth getting tailored to fit perfectly!

My sister in law introduced me to the brand a few years ago. Like me, she is petite but has a fuller bust and I had a wedding coming up. The cut of the dresses are perfect, and I know I’m a size 10 or 12 based on the style of the dress. The prints are just timeless and the way the fabric feels and moves when you wear their clothes makes you feel a million dollars. I’ve a wedding in Ibiza this and I already have my Rixo ready to go. The good thing is they can be dressed up or down so I know I’ll get my moneys worth. I’ve also had some of their t shirts too which again are great styles cut and fabrics. On the rare occasion I’ve had to return an item, it’s been simple, straightforward with no problems.
I love brands where I know my size, the quality and that I’ll enjoy wearing the item again and again. My daughter, 9 has already chosen which pieces she wants to borrow when she grows up ! 🥰 x

Beautiful dresses but many don’t fit me properly as a petite woman. Even in the petite range they are often too low cut to be worn without my bra on display. Please increase the petite range and raise the neckline slightly! Wish I could wear them all!

I ordered a dress that I had been planning to buy for a long time and finally decided to purchase. Today I received a message that my order had been cancelled. I would like to ask how this can be considered fair and responsible treatment of a customer.
This is very poor service and unprofessional behavior. Under such conditions, it is impossible for a company to present itself as a trustworthy and high-quality brand when it treats its customers this way.
Please take orders and customers’ time and trust more seriously.
Thank you.

After visiting the Kings Rd store, where the customer service was very poor, I ordered a £500 dress on line. My first complaint is that’s outrageous to have to pay postage of an additional £4.95. All of their dresses are in excess of £150 and at this prices p&p should be included. I subsequently returned the dress - I now realise that their dresses are poorly made, poor quality fabrics and vastly over priced. They are living on their marketing hype.

I have been a loyal RIXO customer for years and own many of their dresses. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has ended that relationship entirely.
I ordered two Annina dresses in EU size 38. I am a size 38, which by standard international sizing corresponds to a UK 12 and a Medium. RIXO maps EU 38 to a UK 10 and Small. This is not standard, and it is not clearly flagged at the point of purchase on their website, which displays EU sizes only with no UK equivalent shown.
When I raised this, customer service was unhelpful and inflexible. The 14-day return window is wholly unreasonable for international customers. By the time an order arrives, is tried on, and a problem is identified, that window passes quickly. I was ultimately told nothing could be done.
My advice: if you love RIXO, order through Net-a-Porter or Zalando. Their return policies are significantly more customer-friendly and you will not find yourself €755 out of pocket with no recourse.
The experience is consistent with a pattern visible across other Trustpilot reviews here: poor customer service and rigid administration.
A shame. The product is beautiful. The experience is not.

Although I sent the dress back, the quality was beautiful and service was excellent.

Went to the Bridal Studio on King's Street in London and had such a wonderful experience trying on dresses. We were assisted by Lara who was super lovely and had great knowledge of the dresses, especially if I had to try on a dress a size too big or small (due to available sample size) and she would adjust the dress to tell me how the length or fit would look for my correct size. There was no apparent limit on the amount of dresses I could try and I found Lara's suggestions really helpful to try a range of things. Excellent customer service, I had a really positive experience 😊

I purchased the Clarice dress in polka dot and handwashed it in cool water after the first wear. The dye ran and I contacted customer service but because the tag read dry clean only and I didn’t follow that there was nothing they could do and I completely accepted that it was my own fault. I loved the dress so I re-purchased it and dry cleaned it after wearing. On the second time I wore it it became wet so I left it for a few days before taking it to the dry cleaner. When I looked at it again the dye had run again and the dry cleaners instructed me there was nothing that could be done to fix it. I have now paid €570 for two dresses - i got two wears and now have no dress. There is obviously a significant quality issue with this dress! I would advise against purchasing.

My brother is getting married & I have just turned 40 & I have really struggled with getting a special dress for this occasion as I don’t feel comfortable in anything anymore & all my go to companies have slowly disappeared over the years. As it was my only brothers wedding, I thought I would spend a bit extra on a dress than I can really afford, so turned to Rixo as I feel the dresses still feel young & stylish but still suits a 40 year old woman. Ordered several, decided to keep one which was the best option I had tried on, still not 100% comfortable in it & not a typical wedding outfit but nothing else suited me as well so sent the other few back straight away. Rixo then released some more dresses & one of the new range looked perfect, I could imagine what I was going to wear with it, which shoes etc so I went to see about returns for the first dress & realised it was only a 14 day return period & I had had this dress for 16 days - so 2 days over. I emailed Rixo customer service & explained that it was an important event & they would 100% still be getting a sale from me whichever dress I kept & asked if they would honour a return, although a few days late, so I could try the new season dress. They emailed back saying they completely understood my situation but they would not accept the return. I know it is meeting their return policy but they would of still been getting a sale & I was 2 days over for a dress which still had tags on that they could still sell, I had only tried it on briefly once. So I am left with a super expensive dress that I feel isn’t perfect for my brothers wedding & I have that feeling that we have all had where I know something else would of looked better & I don’t have the type of funds I can just order the second dress as an extra, which they said I was welcome to order in their email. I have cried about it, which seems silly but I just wanted to look my best, which is very rare these days with how I feel about myself. Because of this blanket no response, I would never use Rixo again. No compassion, no understanding - just a solid no.
