I got a very quick and polite response from Courtney when I enquired how to register my new Redring shower. Basically, just keep the receipt to show, if needed, for 3 years. Excellent communicatio... See more

I purchased a red ring pure shower in February 2024
The shower was fine nice and hot and was fine until early November 2024 when one of the power settings broke down so lost its temp.
It came with a two year guarantee so I called the company and arranged for someone to come unfortunately there was little miscommunication and it took quite a while before I sorted it out however after speaking to Kai she was incredibly helpful I ended up being sent a new replacement item which I installed and now all is fine.
A little rocky to start but great once I got sorted.

Wish there was a minus I could put I front of the 1 , bought a handwash sensor unit for the pre school I run , wouldn't stop, got another worked for one day then stopped contacted Redding had to fill in a repair under guarantee form , proof of purchase waited for engineer , but no contacted them engineers don't mend those heaters will send you another and arrange for the engineer to fit. Replacement arrived contacted Redding no the engineers don't fit them Why are businesses so useless totally no confidence in the third heater working after having to spend £60 a time to put in and take out.

Under sink heater leaked within 6 months, customer service replies to emails approx 2 weeks each time. They failed to honor any warranty and I'm now going to take legal action.
This. Company are making sub standard units and could not care less what happens after purchase.
Appalling service. Counter top hot water boiler just out of warranty. No repair service available and couldn't care less. Don't buy from this company.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY, PLEASE read all reviews on this website and all are 1 star - 2.4 and that says lots
In total I’ve paid for two boiler units and new parts, Pro boil boiling tap (reditap) and both have leaked. 1st one was advised by customer service to pay for new centre part at £90 from authorised dealer by Redring and within two weeks cupboard flooded inside yet again. So then bought new boiler unit nearly £300 and 9 months later same situation and yet again advised new centre part required for the same amount of money. You do receive guarantee but unit doesn’t last that length of time and then the problems start The company know this is a problem but still persist selling the unit. Please note I descale every month so that’s not the issue.
The result don’t bother buy elsewhere pay more and get product that lasts, for myself cannot afford to buy again the cost has been too great and due to age and living on my own, but in purchasing this I believed would save on electricity in the end cost more money. Please note no cost me review has been replied too by this company (says a lot)!!!! One last thing my new kitchen cupboard from Howdens also needs replacing due to very bad water damage, if was able to add phots you would be appalled.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY
Replaced a wickes 7.5 kW shower after 4 years of constant use with a 7.5 kW Redring and its failed after less than 3months the problem is with the water flow switch not turning off
Much the same as other reviews, sadly on having a kitchen refit 3 years ago , included a Redring under sink Reditap water boiling unit. Along with a special tap required, very expensive, around £800. Plagued over the years with plastic pipe connecters leaking, however now boiler unit is leaking, obviously a seam in the water container is split.? For that kind of outlay you expect it to last longer than 3 years. Guarantee is only a year, complete waste of money, BE WARNED. Take my advice and make do with a kettle.
Our Reditap has stopped heating up light on but not heating.
If your unit is out of warranty then basically you're on your own, ours has failed to heat up, I contacted customer (NO) Support and was told its out of warranty so they won't send out or let me pay for an engineer. Stay away from this company at all costs.
4 years ago I had my kitchen refitted and thought a boiling water tap was a must, so included it.
I would not do so again, it was noisy, spluttered water, not boiling and using electricity unnecessarily.
4 years on the last 3 months or so it has leaked, drip to start with getting worse. Plumber ordered 2 spare parts (£66). Fitted and then found the tank itself had gone.
I am not throwing away more money on this vastly expensive poor piece of equipment.
A new tap is on its way and a new stylish £30 kettle arrived. Sometimes the old way is the best.
I would only be tempted again with a guarantee that reflected the massive investment in such hardware, including the labour. Otherwise no thank you, just not worth it
I have a new electric shower just under two months old. The shower continually drips after use. I called the company and they have said they can ask an engineer to attend but, there is a potential call out fee of £120 (Inc vat).
The product only cost £99...
Basically the guarantee is pointless as the potential costs are greater than the initial cost.
I might as well buy a new product
Installed two off Redring water heaters. There's been a couple of faults with both. Biggest issue is getting engineer to site. The engineer will call with no caller ID and then wont leave a phone number to call back. that's now twice they have done this because the engineer cant locate the site, although they did manage to find it in September. The fault has been reported 6 weeks ago . the service side is shocking. Certainly wont be recommending Redring to any of my other customers. Should have stuck with Zip Boilers.
First tap installed December 2019, failed after 6 months to be fair they did send a new one. Second lasted slightly longer again they sent replacement saying it was the last one. Third has stopped working now. I would be disappointed if the first one had only lasted 2 years so having had 3 stop working in that time I will be buying a kettle for £20.very disappointed
The Redring Reditap boiler tank to support the boiling water tap is so poor it’s unbelievable!
Boiler tap installed Aug 2019, 1st tank failed July 2020, replacement finally sourced & installed Sept 2020 & this 2nd tank has failed in Jan 2022, 16 months after initial installation!!! Replacement cost of tank alone is £300+
Poor quality. Needs a lot of maintenance when used in hard water area (even with a water softener cartridge installed on the inlet) . The spare parts are usually on backnorder and are extortionate (and I mean extortionate). I recently had to buy a new overflow valve. Over £50 for a couple of bits of plastic. The tank seal has just gone, so I'd better take out a new mortgage to pay for that.
The only positive is the customer service department. They quickly diagnose your problem and can give you the right part number and where to order it from. They would be good, though. I'm sure they have had a lot of practice.
Shower valve failed out of warranty, called the helpline and a very helpful lady (Natasha) confirmed the diagnosis, identified the part and now it is on its way! It took all of eight minutes.
The measure of a business is mostly about how it performs when something goes wrong.

Update: New part arrived a few days later, quickly fitted and now we smell nice again!
Redring reditap 3in1 purchased in 2017 water unit failed in 2019 contacted company unhelpful and no spare water unit so whole thing needs replacing tap and all wasted 500.00 pound cost so please beware as no support from company at all so shop else where and buy a better product
