Absolutely horrible experice. Some people who probably know the manager are connecting to the sound system and are playing very loud and unpleasant music. They have a very threatening behaviour and look unfriendly to approach. This happened second time now, with the same people. Contacting the office did nothing.
Just to be clear, this is not about the usual gym type music being played in the gym. The music is either aggressive drill type rap or religious arabic songs, typical of what you'd hear in a vape shop on a shady street.
Avoid if you can

Men Changing rooms
Men Changing rooms, absolutely disgusting. Infestation of sewage flies especially going to shower. Employers don’t seem to care and nothing being done. As a multimillion pound company they should be ashamed of themselves. If you are a person who likes to use the showers etc. don’t join this particular gym. Disgusting and unhygienic.

Very dirty
I go there often. Good machines and good layout but it’s so dirty. Around machines it’s covered by chunks of dust. I have never seen any staff member clean. In the sanitiser dispenser there is soap which makes your hands disgusting and sticky!

PureGym is overpriced at around £50
PureGym is overpriced at around £50, especially considering the quality is below average. The bathroom facilities are disappointing—they look like uni kids live. Very dirty, which is unacceptable for an adult gym where you’re charging 50 quid. The staff can be hit or miss; they aren’t that friendly, but there is someone named J who is genuinely helpful. The only real benefit is the 24-hour access, though even that can be unreliable at times. Overall, not worth the cost or the hassle.

"DAYPASS" is single use only
I bought a "daypass" for the Gym at Canary Wharf. Once inside I realized I had forgotten to bring a towel, so I left and returned shortly afterward.
I could not use the same passcode to get. I got an error saying that my pass was already active and the doors wouldn't open for me. I tried several times without success.
I then had to buy a new pass to get back in.
Also note that I had to use a different email address because the website wouldn't sell me a second one on the same email address.
I think the term DAYPASS is misleading as it seems to only be single use rather than access for the day.

Just way too expensive for a day pass
Just way too expensive for a day pass - how does it make sense to spend £14.99 for an hour in a gym. I would attend more often if it was even half that or even £10, so PureGym are missing on my business by making it so expensive. The monthly fee is £38.99 so how is it fair to charge £14.99 for a day. It's ridiculous. And it's not like the gym is paying more by one person being there for for an hour. There is no receptionist that needs to check me in. Luckily for PureGym I'm on a quest to get healthy and muscular, otherwise, as a normal person, I would have turned away after finding out how much it was.

Please avoid this gym
Please avoid this gym if hygiene is an important factor. Gym equipment is decent, but the men’s changing room and showers are disguising as there is an infestation of sewage flies as well as a disgusting smell which has been going on for 4 yrs plus. Only reason I use it, is that I work in the office twice a week and use during lunch times or I would fully avoid it. If there are other close to you, I would suggest to use an alternative

This gym is disgusting
This gym is disgusting. I recently joined, and this morning was my first time there. The whole place is just filth. Surely there have to be some kind of health & safety standards in place for gyms to operate. The equipment is dirty, the windows and shelves are full of dust and flies and the changing facilities are beyond acceptable. The floors are ridiculously dirty, all of the sinks and toilets and sides are full of dead flies. The floors & walls in the shower are just full of dirt and hundreds of flies on the walls. It's literally impossible to have a shower and feel clean after. I will be cancelling my membership with immediate effect and will be putting in a complaint.

I am writing to raise a serious concern…
I am writing to raise a serious concern about the hygiene conditions at the Canary Wharf branch. The toilets have a very strong and unpleasant odor, and the shower facilities are in such poor condition that they are practically unusable.
Despite reporting this issue to staff members at the branch, no action has been taken. Additionally, there are dead flies scattered throughout the toilet areas, which further highlights the lack of cleanliness.
As a paying member, I expect basic hygiene standards to be maintained. I kindly urge you to address this issue as a priority and take the necessary steps to improve the cleanliness of the facilities.
