Technician was great! Arrived promptly and undertook the work in a professional and efficient manner. BUT i was charged over £800.00 for 3.5 hours work, I managed to get this reduced a little. The company operates under a number of different brands and lacks transparency in the contract terms and fees that will be charged. According to their supply terms and conditions, The initial call out contract should be the fee quoted at the time of the booking. Anything after that is what they refer to as the repair contract and an estimate provided and agreed before this work commences. This didn’t happen! And they wanted £240 per hour. Breaching their own terms and conditions! Caveat emptor ‘buyer beware’ has never been more applicable here. They take advantage of customers having an emergency. They clearly spend a lot of money on Google rankings and marketing technology. I will never use them again and their technician was clearly embarrassed about the fees he had to charge, but he was contractually obligated to use those fees. Avoid unless you are willing to pay through the nose. I was lucky to get a good plumber (technician) many are not.

So I needed to call an emergency plumber for a leaking toilet pipe at 2am on the morning. I had just got back from work and was panicked into taking the service of the first company to answer.
Unfortunately that happened to be this company. They told me the cost was going to be £264, I thought this was steep but with little option I agreed.

An hour later a 'plumber' turned up and told me before he would do anything that the price would be £645. This was 3am, I was tired and not thinking straight as every towel I had was soaked through so I told him to get on with it.

Five minutes later he was finished and told me that I had to pay him by bank transfer, he then took my phone and put in his own bank details rather than that of the company.

When I clicked send a warning message came up telling me they couldn't verify the account but he coerced me into sending it anyway.

I feel like this is all my fault for being so stupid but all in all the experience has left me broke and violated of that makes sense.

Absolute scammers. Never call back. Plumber came and destroyed my bathroom. Then he said he’d come back the next day to sort it but never did. The company will not call me and their team always say a manager will call back. I’ll be reporting them to the police and the plumber for criminal damage.

Had faultless service. The plumber sent out was a nice guy who fixed our leaking input pipe to our washing quickly and efficiently Charged what was quoted plus £7 for a part.
If I had read the negative reviews before ringing them would not have gone near them. Problem seems to be with the trades people. Consider myself lucky got a good un.

Total scammers. They convinced me into booking a service and then denided me the right to cancel it. I was not provided with the contract or with details of the contractor. They use fake Google business accounts to make it look as legitimate company, which they are not. I contacted the citizen advice service to inform about their practices. Shame on you!
Now they are not calling me back, and fail to provide with any informations.

If I could have given less than 1 star I would have. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Rang New Year’s Day as had a leak leaving us with no hot water or heating. Was promised someone out within the hour. 7 hours later.. no one has turned up. Every time I called to chase was told someone will come back to me, but no one ever did. If I was told no one was coming out I could have booked someone else. Then I get a message today to say no one available! 2 days later!! Absolute jokers!!

Please do not use this company they have scammed us out of £180. They sent an electrician round to look at our shower told us it was broke and we needed a new one. His name was Darren Minto. He was here less than 30 mins. Took £180 via bank transfer then never came back. When we ring the call centre all they say is they will pass us through to an area manager! This has been the same response everyday since yet no call back. This electrician is also nowhere on Google or anything just a Facebook profile. They are clearly a scam company out to rip you off please don’t use them!!!!!

Took our postcode down incorrectly and sent our plumber to an address in Stoke on Trent when we are in Hertfordshire. Call handler was even given phonetic alphabet of postcode and still got it wrong. Had phone call from plumber saying he was outside when clearly he wasn’t, as he was in Stoke on Trent and I am in Hertfordshire. In the meantime we have water coming out of a pipe and unable to stop it. Wasted an hour when we could have got plumber much sooner. Promised a phone call to by management but still waiting. Do not use this company, they are a joke!

Do not use this Company. We are taking legal action against them. I asked for a plumber. He came out within 45 minutes and yanked at the pipe, breaking my mains feed! He then charged £180 for the pleasure after leaving us without water! It has cost over £1000 so far and a new plumber cannot fix the fault. Been told 8 times that an area manager will call back but so far nothing. I have kidney problems and have no water at Christmas. This firm are nothing but cowboys DONT USE THEM!

Absolutely shocking.

Electrician came out and did the job, but neither the electrician nor professionals 24 were willing to provide and invoice, so I was unable to claim back the money spent.

Save your time and money – steer clear of this sham of a plumbing company. Their so-called professionals arrived within 45 minutes, but their diagnosis was completely off the mark. Initially quoted £180, they conveniently sprang an additional 20% VAT charge after the hour was up, a detail conveniently omitted in the original quote. Fortunately, the initial plumber directed us to a competent professional who rectified the issue at a more reasonable cost. Don't place your trust in this company; seek reliable alternatives for your plumbing needs.

Con con con! Please please read this before using this company, don’t make the mistake I made! In panic I used the first number I could come across and now I am paying the price! The plumber didn’t even have a plunger and spent half an hour at the shops buying one, to which I was charged of course. The ‘plumber’ wasn’t even at my house 10 minutes and I got charged £240. He tried to ask for £340 but I refused and somehow it quickly became £240. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Disgusting service to tell me that I need a specialist service nothing that can be done due to a leak and the company charging astounding amount to come out to say nothing to be done
For a manager to tell me cannot have half my money back for poor service puts the phone down on me disgusting

Local guy (Chellaston Derby) Matt Baxter came really quickly to deal with our leak that I had inadvertently caused by checking the heating pump. Brilliant service and he sorted it promptly and professionally.
Price for call out is only reason for not giving five stars
The call was handled professionally and inevitably the review is biased towards the tradesperson.

Very bad, we had an emergency appointment booked waited 2 hours over the expected time of arrival with no one answering calls ect. Said I wanted to cancel then they proceeded to try and book me in for the next day. When I said it was an emergency and needed a guy ASAP they tried to get me to pay a cancellation fee after repeatedly hanging up on me. In the end I had to block all their numbers as relentlessly calling.

One to avoid at all cost.

Avoid at all costs. Tried to cancel plumber appointment after an hour as fault had been resolved, the appointment was for 2 days time so not cancelled at short notice. They became aggressive and demanded a call out fee, when I refused they hung up on me. They had not quoted the need for a cancellation fee or indeed any terms and conditions. They operate under several names including Tom Plumber 24 which is how I found them under a Google search, this gave the impression I was dealing with a local plumber.

Avoid this company at all costs.

This is a fraud website with numerous business names advertised on google.
Mostly emergency services for plumbing, heating and electrical.

They work from a call centre and subcontractors. The charges are very high anywhere between £400 to £1000 pounds.

No invoice is provided also sometimes ask for deposit.

With our experience they scammed us for £400 plus points to just change a bathroom tab .

Absolutely disgraceful company! The electrician strung out a simple job from 1hr to 5hrs. Charged £1250 and still left a burnt out socket wired up. I had to call a different electrician because this guy messed up the wiring and could t work out his own error. I am trying to speak to management and no one calls back. Stay away from this company.
