I avoided my QuickBooks account because it felt like Greek to me, with SnapTax I am not afraid to look at my financials anymore
I started my business about a year ago and started using quickbooks. I was so confused getting it set up as math and accounting are definitely not my thing, so I hired a bookkeeper to help me get it going right and show me the ropes, but as a new business I couldn’t afford a bookkeeper every month, so I had to figure it out myself and it didn’t go so well. I got so much anxiety every time I opened quickbooks because it looked like a foreign language to me and I was so scared I was going to mess something up and get in trouble with the IRS. A friend recommended SnapTax to me as an easier alternative to quickbooks, and as you can imagine, even the stress of trying to switch and learn something new raised my blood pressure. But I gave it a try because what I had been doing wasn’t working. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to set up and import my data into SnapTax(total opposite of my quickbooks set up experience) and I ran into an issue as I was importing data and the company was really responsive and got me back on track. Once I got all my data into SnapTax, it was so easy to use and now I can see exactly what I need to pay and when. There are not a ton of buttons and pages and confusing things I don’t need. Even though I had a business bank account, I still had to put a lot of purchases on my personal credit cards and SnapTax handled that no problem, something that was nearly impossible in my quickbooks. Needless to say, I am so happy I switched, I don’t get anxiety about looking at my books anymore, I know its something I can handle in just a few minutes every month and that allows me to focus on my clients instead of worrying about my books!
