Be warned.... Very expensive!!!
I phoned this company, believing it to be affiliated to a company that I had used previously. Yes, they were competent and seemed very professional, but retrospectively, I feel duped into booking an emergency plumber, for a non emergency situation... and was charged accordingly. I would now personally recommend contacting a local company via Checked and vetted or Trust a trade. I would definitely not use again.
Do not use at all costs.
Do not use at all costs.
The plumber did the work then said leave the morter to dry. When it didn't the next day the toilet was blocked. Several messages sent and was told we would get a call immediately. We didn't get anything then all contact was ignored by the company and plumber. Scammed out of £390, then had to spend to get dynorod to unblock it. The engineer said it was blocked by morter in the drain.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

Pay 180 today, we will do nothing, then pay 180 tomorrow
Engineer got here quite quickly which was good, but appeared to want my money from the get go. I had a leaking pipe which was affecting my ceiling, he recommended we cut 2 different holes in the ceiling starting with one where there was no wet patch. I convinced him to start at the wet patch where he miraculously found the leak. He then explained that he didn't have the part, so I've been left with a hole in my ceiling and a bucket underneath. The sick joke now being, he's gonna charge me another £180 to come back out tomorrow for what he's already told me would be a 15minute job. I phoned the call centre back up as the engineer told me it was more money for him to come out then what the call centre had advised and was then shouted at by a manager. When I called her out on her poor customer service she proceeded to agree that her company was bullshit. Google had them flagged as potential fraud and both myself and my poor poor bank account agree. Not very demure. Not very mindful. Very big rip off
Overpriced and Unexperienced - RIP OFF
I booked in to repair for electric shower unit via the call center and was provided a guarantee that the engineer make sure that the unit was working before he left - the engineer didn't have a clue what he was doing and wasted 40 minutes messing around with the mains unit - and then said the shower unit needed replacing - charged £144 for nothing - to made things worse quoted £288 to fit a new one which I have to purchase separately.
As I wasn't at home charged by my young daughter and didn't even give a receipt of the work carried out.
I reported back to the Call Centre, which said an area manager would contact me three days later, but I haven't heard anything.
I would never recommend this company.
Be aware of their antics; they are only trying to rip you off.

Spam Illegitmate Service Taking Advantage of Urgent Callout Needs.
Hi all.
I am a disabled young woman living alone. I feel completely taken advantage of.
The phone call was very suspect, but I was desperate. The call handler said it would be between 30 minutes to 60 minutes, but most definitely less than 60. I then got a call from a mobile number but it was a call centre not the technician, different person, confirming 60 minutes. There was a subsequent call only 5 minutes later, again, different person, different mobile number, in a call centre saying it’d be 80 minutes. All of these contradictions happened in such a short space of time, the barrier of trust was completely lost. It was late at night and I wanted to cancel. They told me I could not and that someone would be around to take payment.
80 minutes went by, still no show. Eventually the plumber turned up. Though he was perfectly nice, he did not have a ladder to get into the loft, where my boiler was. So this was not checked by the plumber.
The plumber felt it was not an issue in the loft, though he had not been up there to verify that himself. Again, perfectly nice man in behaviour.
He suspected it was another issue which is not plumbing.
I then had to pay £264 right there, despite the plumber actually CONFIRMING by showing me when he was offered the job, that he had not even accepted the job at the time of me wishing to cancel. There had been no call-out.
Furthermore, the plumber who was sent was all the way in Leeds, it was never going to be within 30-60 minutes.
Rifling through online reviews it is clear your service has a habit of making false promises, and taking advantage of those needing emergency call-outs and in vulnerable situations. You are spammy in your contact, and dishonest in your conduct. I do not wish for a discount on future services, I will never be using this service again. It is unjust to not allow a disabled woman to cancel a service which had not even been accepted by a plumber yet. It is ridiculous to have me then waiting into the night for someone to arrive under a certain timeframe, which was not fulfilled and couldn’t possibly have been given my location versus theirs. The issue was not properly vetted by the plumber. The plumber did not see the boiler to check on it, it was educated guesses in the middle of the night, with an unreasonable price tag.
I demand a full refund.
——- reply following your review response.
I am the landlord. It’s my property. I own it. It was not resolved. I answered every phone call, I’ve not been contacted since.
The advisor was only listening to the plumber, not to me. I was offered no refund. My review will stay on, I just want everyone to know they should avoid this company. Truly.

Very bad experience with this company
Should be 0 stars
Wish I had read the reviews beforehand, however this is impossible as they hide behind websites implying they are local plumbers. Once the callout was arranged we managed to identify the issue but were unable to contact the company to cancel the callout (despite being extremely easy to contact to arrange the visit). Plumber who attended proceeded to waste time to try to ensure a higher fee. We are left out of pocket of £260 and the issue not resolved as I asked him to leave when I could see the time wasting tactics. Would never use again and would advise all to be cautious of websites which appear to be local plumbers but then direct you to a call centre with rude and abusive staff

Steer clear - total scam - this company needs to be investigated by trading standards asap
As everyone else has said steer clear of this company they’re terrible fake scammers. When booking an appointment alarm bells starting ringing because the person dealing with my request was very aggressive and rude, corrected me several times, and asked for my address multiple times after I’d already given it. I was so unhappy with the customer service I phoned back pretty much immediately and said I want to cancel we no longer need your services, the handler kept pressuring me to give a reason and said he couldn’t cancel a manager would have to call me back. After I responded to their automated WhatsApp a few hours later I got a call from this “Manager” who again aggressively asked me why I needed to cancel, when I refused and eventually said we’d sorted the problem ourselves, they very rudely said “ok then” and hung up. Do not use this company - fake reviews and total scam but luckily their customer service is so poor hopefully people will figure it out like I did before they take any money.
Disgusting service- Would give 0 star if possible
Terrible, no transparency on the rate,. Someone from an Indian Call center called today, arguing with me, that they are not able to give a clear pricing over the phone, it depends on the technicians as to whether they charge VAT or not. I have never heard so much nonsense, it is very clear, they have no understanding of Uk legislation and lack total customer service skills. On top I had to ask at least 10 times or more for my VAT Invoice. I can only advise all good citizen out there, DO AVOID this company at all costs, you are bound to be ripped off and left fuming. The audacity to accuse me of having been informed ahead of it all. A very dishonest company there are plenty of honest and hard working companies out here who provide better service with better rates!!!

awful and fake scammers
awful and fake scammers. called in an emergency as water was flooding our downstairs. said someone was coming within 30 mins to 1 hour, we managed to contact the original plumber who did our bathroom and he came immediately. i tried to call back to cancel the appointment and couldn’t get through. they called me to say the engineer was on their way and they’d be there in 1 hour (1.5 hours after i contact them!!) and i said i needed to cancel and she just said “sorry the engineers already on their way so we can’t cancel” i asked if they could call and tell them not to come and they said they had no way of contacting the engineer? completely stupid and made no sense. i told them straight up we weren’t paying and to cancel. they argued with me and i knew this was ridiculous. like someone else said on here it sounds like it’s from a call centre not an actual company. complete scam who preys on people in an emergency. don’t use
Total scammers
Total scammers. Wish I could have given them no stars. Called them out to my mum as electrics kept tripping. Mum needs medical electrical equipment so Iooked up emergency electricians near me. This company popped up. I was in a panic so phoned them and booked. £180 and they would sort it. I'm more of an electrician than the bloke they sent out. Total con artists.

Never Use This Company!!
We had the misfortune of using this service on Tuesday 11th June 2024.
A pipe became dislodged in one of our bathrooms and water was pouring through our kitchen ceiling.
I turned off the water and my wife contacted them having obtained their details on Google.
She was quoted a £180 call out fee which also covered the first hour of labour. This seemed expensive but we had water pouring through the ceiling so agreed. We were told that someone would be with us in between 30 minutes to an hour.
An hour and a half later two men arrived. They apparently worked for Gas Repair in Rotherham. We told them the situation and the lead man, Usman Saleem, informed me that he would remedy the situation and also fit a new toilet flush device while he was here, as this was the source of the problem.
We left them to their work and approximately 40 minutes later they announced that they had finished. They showed me the toilet flush working and as water was no longer coming through the ceiling we were initially satisfied.
Mr Saleem then came downstairs while his colleague remained upstairs to clear up. He announced that the bill was to be £477. We were shocked at this as we had been told £180 for the first hour including labour. We expected the bill to be a little higher than this due to him fitting a new toilet flush but we know the cost of these to be no more than £12. We asked for an explanation and Mr Saleem informed us that as they had completed two jobs, including fitting the new toilet flush, then he had to charge two call out fees of £180. He said that these were not his rules but the rules of Professionals 24. He said that this was just the way it is. He was obviously lying and trying to con us so we informed him that it was certainly not the way it was going to be on this occasion. He said he would text the company for guidance and tapped on his phone for a few seconds. He could have been texting anyone or nobody at all. Less than a minute later he said that he could reduce the bill to £276. He then announced that the call out fee was £180 plus VAT. This had never been mentioned when my wife made the initial call, but Mr Saleem was adamant. At this point we strongly suspected that this was another lie but we simply wanted this man out of our house so we settled this bill.
Mr Saleem texted me a receipt which, when studied after he had left, did not feature any VAT at all. The truth seems to be a stranger to Mr Saleem.
Subsequent enquiries have failed to show anywhere that Gas Repair in Rotherham is VAT registered or even that this company is registered at Companies House at all.
As for the quality of the work carried out: the pipe that was originally leaking and causing water to pour through our kitchen ceiling is still seeping water but not sufficiently for it to come through the ceiling, although enough to leave a puddle on the bathroom floor; the toilet flush fitted no longer works. Water pours into the toilet cistern but never fills it with the water leaking straight into the toilet; we now have the additional issue that when any of our 3 showers are used, water pours through our kitchen ceiling which was never a problem before their visit; the same happens when sinks in those bathrooms are used. This was never a problem prior to their visit.
In fact, the state of the plumbing in our house is now so damaged that we have a suspicion that they sabotaged it in some way before leaving after we refused to agree to the initial extortionate invoice.
We will now have to engage another plumber to remedy all of these issues which will cost more than we had to pay Gas Repair.
We never want to see these individuals again and certainly don’t want them back to remedy their shoddy work.
Gas Repair are not fit to be sent out to unsuspecting members of the public. Their work is not fit for purpose and Mr Saleem's honesty is questionable to say the least.
Having now had the time to study reviews left by other customers, they do not inspire confidence and we would never have used their services if we had seen these in advance. However, we were faced with an emergency. The reviews left seem to demonstrate that our experience is not unusual.
Trading Standards have been informed of our experience.
If it was possible to leave less than a one star rating we most certainly would!

Scammers, scammers, scammers
Fake reviews on google. Booked an appointment with them, it all seemed a bit odd from the very beginning. Always look on trustpilot for honest reviews. I'm glad I did, one I couldn't find a website despite them saying t&c's could be found on there, 2 I got through to two different people, all with non-english accents. Turns out it's a call centre. I tried to cancel appointment, the people I kept getting through to kept telling me I'd have to wait for a manager to call back. That's when I got a call from an aggressive and rude guy. He kept telling me I couldn't cancel because he'd already sent the tradesman out. Lies because the tradesmen should of been local apparently, it's a small town, it's doesn't take an hour to get anywhere around here. Either way, I basically repeatedly said no and said if anyone turns up I will contact the police. Id told him that i read online they were a scam company. He said "contact who you like, contact everyone. Stupid b*tch" and put phone down. Should be reported everywhere. Probably scamming the elderly. Looks like the standard conversation goes as, £180 for coming out, they say all work is included and then someone turns up charging extortionate prices. Please report this "company".

Do not use this company
One star is too many. Sent an electrician to my elderly parents house who did work he was not qualified to do. They paid him over £1000 and then he couldn't provide certificates for building control. Lied to them and said he had sent it. Now with trading standards. Lots of stress. Won't see their money again. This organisation do not vett the "professionals" on their books and take no responsibility. Do not use this company - they prey on elderly and vulnerable people.
