Absolutely disgusted by this company…

Absolutely disgusted by this company and their sister company guestreservations.com. Our mum died unexpectedly the day before our 1-night stay. I still called them mere hours after she had passed to let them know the situation and to give as much notice as I could. I also contacted the hotel directly. The hotel were fine with a refund. Expedia were happy with a refund. But Guestreservations.com and their 2nd “middle-man” have decided not to honour a refund and have not even given us a chance to provide a death certificate to prove we are not lying. The company demonstrates no ability to show compassion in extreme cases it seems. Such a vile company. We need the money to help pay for a funeral so this has just added to the stress of the situation and they simply won’t help. Avoid.

Can I give it no stars

Can I give it no stars? First, I didn’t realize the prepaid express deals through Priceline give the rental car company, the option of not honoring the rental agreement, while still allowing them to keep your money .
I think it’s insane that I had a prepaid reservation and showed up at the car counter in the airport and was told they didn’t have any cars. It was at our own expense to Uber to our hotel and Uber back to the airport the next day with the hope that they would have a car then ($80). Only to be giving an unroadworthy car. We experienced a flat tire because a piece of the tread came off the tire. The mechanic told us how lucky we were it didn’t happen on the highway because the tire would’ve blown. Then he went on to tell us that neither of the front tires on the car were roadworthy. For our inconveniences, and literally putting our lives in danger, Fox offered me a $25 credit on my next Fox rental car (limited to the next 12 months) as if there would ever be another Fox rental from me!
Priceline supported Fox’s position saying they can’t help that they partner with scum, Fox has the final say so on making reparations or not

Double check your bookings with hotel

I’ve booked on the two hotels with Priceline. And then both hotels Priceline screwed me over because it sent over reservation for two adults and totally dismissed. My two children which I had reserved and written down on the reservation. I have evidence of it and they still choose to ignore it and say you should’ve read the fine print and say that additional guest will be charged for. Which I understand if I had additional guest. However, since I’m booking only for four people on the price is showing me for four people. It is logical to assume that that is the price for four people. However, when I get to the hotel, they always say that Priceline only sent request for two. And I am forced to pay for breakfast and sometimes even for stay for my kids. This is an unacceptable and corrupt behavior. I will look into bbb.org to report them as well. Be absolutely beware. Make sure you get totally refundable and double check that the hotel got the same reservation that you requested.

Priceline's Poor Customer Service

I have been a loyal Priceline customer with multiple successful bookings in the past, which is why this experience was especially disappointing.
On March 24, 2026, my nine-year-old son and I booked a hotel room through Priceline. When we arrived, the front desk informed us that all air conditioning units at the property were not working. In Arizona heat near 100°F, staying there was not a safe or reasonable option, especially with a child.
The hotel provided us with a cancellation/refund receipt, and we were forced to find last-minute accomodations elsewhere. We never stayed at the hotel or used any services.
After more than two months of repeated communication, providing documentation, and speaking with multiple supervisors who assured us they would help resolve the issue, Priceline ultimately denied our $58 refund.
This was a circumstance entirely outside of our control, and the hotel's inoperable air conditioning was never disclosed at booking. Had we known, we would have booked elsewhere.
Very disappointed with how this was handled and hope Priceline reconsiders situations like this with greater fairness and customer care.

Exploitning US Veterans

★☆☆☆☆

I booked a hotel through American Forces Travel, which is operated by Priceline, and had one of the worst customer service experiences I have encountered.

This was not a cancellation. My wife and I checked in, entered the room, and attempted to use the accommodations we paid for. We encountered excessive noise from other guests, what appeared to be black mold in the bathroom area, and evidence consistent with bedbugs.

Before asking for a refund, we requested to be moved to a different room. The hotel refused. The problems continued. We then requested a refund and were ultimately removed from the property.

The entire encounter was recorded on video.

Afterward, Motel 6 Corporate informed me that information entered into the hotel's internal system prevented them from assisting me or reviewing the complaint. When I contacted Priceline through American Forces Travel, I expected someone to review the facts. Instead, Priceline repeatedly treated the matter as a cancellation dispute.

I never cancelled.

I checked in, occupied the room, requested a room change, reported concerns, and was removed from the property.

Priceline was informed that:

* We checked in.
* We requested a room change.
* The room change was denied.
* We were removed from the property.
* The entire encounter was recorded on video.

Despite this, Priceline continued to rely on cancellation policies rather than addressing whether the lodging services purchased were actually provided.

As a disabled combat veteran, I used American Forces Travel because it is marketed as a benefit for veterans and military families. Unfortunately, my experience suggests that when problems arise, you are dealing with a third-party booking company that may be more interested in enforcing policies than investigating facts.

Trip #: 353-307-953-95

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Priceline or American Forces Travel.

Pathetic customer service & no reliability

We booked hotel stays thru Priceline and unfortunately couldn't make it due to last min information to carry visa documents for security check points. We informed Priceline well before for cancelling 2 nights stay. They are dealing with 3rd party partner (mostly Expedia) and due to this , there is lot of delay in resolving any issues. The 3rd party partner is not even reachable to Priceline for giving any answers. Due to this we lost refund for 2nd night too which we would have definitely received if we made booking directly with hotel .Their customer support is pathetic and its takes forever to actually reach and talk to any human. They don't keep track of any communication that has happened on case and every time you need to repeat story. They promise to give an update after discussing with 3rd party partner but never call back.so you keep chasing them.at times , partner or Priceline sounds lying about situation where as directly hotel will be more helpful. I would not at all rely on this agency and its better to go directly thru hotel Or some other reliable sources.

I recently booked a room it was the Extended stay at Brandon, FL, The building was not like the pictures in the priceline page, the building was dirty, I went inside my room and the room had bugs on the floor, a Waterbury in the bathtub, the German roaches crawling over the furniture, I got my things and left the room, the Manager did not want to speak to me and the girl at the front desk said the manager wasn't going to refund my money, I called priceine and it was worse, they did not care what I passed through even if I had been a loyal customer for years, as VIP and they cannot make an exception and refund my money, they lost me as a customer. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND A HORRIBLE OVER ALL EXPERIENCE!! I HAD TO PAY TO STAY AT ANOTHER HOTEL.

How to lose thousands of pounds to expert liars.

April 2026 I booked and pre-paid accommodation at Home2Suites in Orlando through Priceline.

March 2026 upon arrival, it was clear that I had booked the wrong Home2Suites address, and I swiftly re-booked the right one ( couple of miles away).

The Hotel manager and desk staff were delightful and helped me speak to Priceline to explain the mistake and authorise a refund.

Priceline assured me by phone upon arrival (call on loud speaker and witnessed) that a refund would be processed within 48 hours since the hotel manager authorised the waiver, both verbally and in writing (email). He was very understanding and helpful.

That was over 3 months ago.

Since then Priceline have refused my every attempt at refund, stonewalling all 'evidence' of authorisation by the manager; lied, deflected, and shifted the complaint around different agents - each new agent now starts from scratch.

It's so outrageously wrong. They are ***very accomplished at avoiding refund***.

I now know they have a terrible reputation. I will never make the same mistake. And wish to warn anyone looking for a cheaper hotel price, to think again.

Had I booked directly through the hotel chain, a refund would have been instant.

I cannot stress the disgusting and outrageous nature of having to deal with such underhand tactics and losing £1,800 to what I believe is criminal activity.

AVOID THEM!

Priceline took advantage of 77 year old…

Priceline took advantage of 77-year-old Heart attack and 2-time Cancer Survivor doing a once in a lifetime hunt set up by friends of mine.
The flights went well but the car rental was sublet to York/Inbocars car rentals that FORCED insurance that was not needed. Proof of insurance WAS SUPPLED by me.
It was 10 AM in the morning and I had a choice of ruining my hunt of a Lifetime or giving them my credit card to be TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!
NO ONE SHOULD USE!

Misleading, fraudulent and dishonest company!!!

They 100% know that the Collision Damage Protection they offer is fraudulent and dishonest. They know, you won’t be able to pick up your car rental without paying the rental car company’s own insurance. They are knowingly misleading you to steal your money. Then they make it hard for you to cancel that insurance and get a refund AFTER it did nothing. You’re stuck with paying that one and the one Priceline offered which they market it as “you won’t need to pay anything else and you can give them a hard NO” THAT is completely false. I tried calling them while on my vacation and the AI bot says “I can help with refunds and cancellations which is faster than talking to agent”. She denied me so I called them as soon as I got home. They claim that the bot told me to talk to an agents (false) and now they can’t do anything because it’s been more 72 hours… THEIR AI BOT IS DENYING EVERYONE AND THEN THEY BLAME THE CUSTOMER FOR NOT TALKING TO AN AGENT (while on vacation) RIDICULOUS!! I will NEVER USE them for anything again!! Stay away from them! Horrible customer service. I would rate them zero.

nightmare . horrible . junk company

we are talking a nightmare . if you want to suffer - take this company . I will never order from them anything . i spend 7 days and more than 20 hours on the phone for something that with regular air carrier would end in 10 minutes . 7 days with phone calls that last 2-3 hours . they don't sell their tickets . they don't even sell air carriers tickets . they sell 3rd party travel agent tickets . if you need to change something they need to send email to that 3rd party who after that needs to send email to the air carrier who replies with email to the 3rd part who will return email to priceline and by than the offer will not be valid anymore. beware

Booked a rental car through Priceline…

Booked a rental car through Priceline and when I showed up to pick it up, Enterprise told me the car wasn’t available. No warning, no notification from Priceline, nothing. I spent the next 4 hours going to multiple locations just to find a decent car, completely ruining 4 hours of my planned itinerary. Priceline confirmed a reservation with a partner that couldn’t fulfill it and left me to deal with the fallout on my own. If you are booking a rental car through Priceline, don’t assume the car will actually be there. Very disappointing experience from a platform you should be able to trust.

If i could give 0, i would

If i could give 0, I would. This company definitely scams people. I'm in Canada and I had to book for a funeral and i thought I was paying in Canadian $ but no i got charged twice because it was in USD and they wrote it in fine lines where people barely sees it and then told me there's nothing we can do.. will never use this company again. Just good for scamming people.

This has been one of the worst booking…

This has been one of the worst booking experiences I’ve ever had. First and foremost, half of the staff seem like they don’t know what they’re doing when it comes to fixing problems or helping customers. Every time I asked for assistance, I either got transferred around, given different answers, or no real solution at all.
I officially booked a flight twice, only to later find out the flights were not actually available. At no point during the booking process was I properly informed about this. Then, when I called to ask why my flight had been canceled, nobody could give me a straight answer.
To make things even worse, one representative actually hung up on me while I was trying to get help. That level of customer service is completely unacceptable, especially when people are spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars on travel.
The entire experience has been stressful, frustrating, and extremely unprofessional. I would seriously think twice before booking through Priceline again.
