Pirate's Grog Rum Reviews 

First bought a bottle (almost) 10 years ago, still an incredible rum that makes a great gift or drink for a special occasion.

Or at least I never thought I did. 29 years in the Navy and every splice the mainbrace a mate got my rum ration...

Not any more. Pirate's grog has turned my view completely around. I bought 6 bottles of my choice and have tried them all.
Wow, just wow! They're so good I don't even mix them, that would be a waste, most of the time I don't have ice, I just let the flavour develop from sipping slooooowly, I find the flavour comes through best that way. My favourite has to be the wild cherry, you certainly popped my cherry (rum!)

Firstly , very speedy delivery, even given it came by Evri. Well packed.

Bought the Cherry Spiced and the Ginger Spiced.

Cherry one is stunning. Rich cherry flavour. Not too sweet.

The Ginger one I wasn't so sure about at first but it's grown on me. Rounded and warming without being overpowering.

Will order again.

Two bottles into the Pirate’s Grog six-bottle subscription and I’m already impressed.

The 5 Year Aged Rum is incredibly smooth with a rich caramel flavour and a lovely warmth without any harsh burn. It’s easy to sip neat and clearly a high-quality base spirit — which makes sense knowing it forms the foundation for their spiced and flavoured rums.

If the rest of the subscription is anything like this first bottle, I’m very glad I signed up.

Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a smooth, well-crafted rum. 🏴‍☠️🥃

Never liked rum before. Always been more of a vodka person. My partner loves rum but it even the smell made me feel ill, but I got him the mini trio box and tried them and loved them! Especially the no.13 limited edition rum. The bottles are stunning and will be repurposed as soon as the rum is gone ❤️

Lovely aged Rum with Vanilla notes.

The non alcoholic rum is beautiful with a bit of a kick and it's lovely with pineapple.
The spicy rum is excellent taste

As described and quickly shipped. I'd not hesitate to buy again.

I went with the banana and toasted coconut rums. The Banana was amazing, very subtle flavour and not sickly like I thought it might me.

Now the toasted coconut! From the first sip I was transported to a desert island with fare haired maidens singing and dancing around me while I adjusted my pirate hat. From there I made my way to my ship and set sail, high fiving a shark as it passed by. Feeling the sea wind whip through my long braided locks, I sipped on pirates grog steering my crew on our next adventure! Sadly this was all in my mind when I realised I had actually drank the entire bottle of rum and promptly ‘fell asleep’ on my front garden in my underwear after apparently trying to ‘sail’ a trolly I acquired from the local Tesco.
What I’m saying is the toasted coconut rum is bloody amazing and they should make it a permanent flavour!!!!

Magnificent rums from a superb company. Got 3 different bottles for Christmas from my son. All three have such different but amazing flavours. Had to buy some more. Bought the toasted coconut and another bottle of spiced rum. Can’t wait to try the new coconut one.

Super quick delivery and very well packaged, opened the Spiced Rum first and the only downside is that it tastes too good, almost a half bottle gone... Oops 🤣

This was my 2nd bottle of the Black 8 coffee rum…if you like coffee and you like rum…you will love this one. Also ordered the toasted coconut rum as it’s been out of stock for a while…not tasted it yet…saving it for the warmer weather to enjoy in the g-Ahharrr-den, but sure I’m in for a treat. Orders always arrive really quickly and well packaged.

Gifted a 6 bottle package for Christmas and am 2 months down and am certainly not disappointed. The first one (5yr rum) was good quality but the second one (spiced) is certainly a step up from any spiced rum I have had before! Looking forward to starting the Wild Cherry one very soon 😋
