Our P5 had a brilliant experience. Staff are excellent and activities were fun! Well done Team PGL!!!

We had a fabulous week at PGL Dalguise, from our warm welcome to our departure. All of our activities were well organised and enjoyable. Every member of staff was helpful and enthusiastic and our Group Leader, Lucy, went above and beyond every day making sure that everything was running smoothly and our children and staff were happy and kept busy.

We have been visiting Boreatton Park for over 30 years. The centre is fabulous. Accommodation is always first class. The facilities are brilliant and staff and instructors go above and beyond to make sure that our children have an experience they will never forget

The location of this PGL is in an absolutely fantastic spot right by the estuary.
The activities on offer are amazing and even though they are secondary school students they were totally engaged and interacted with all activities on their plan.
188 students thoroughly enjoyed it this year and this is why I will be returning what a fantastic opportunity they have had and they all loved it.

Excellent facilities in a beautiful part of Scotland to enjoy many great outdoor activities! Our Guides & Rangers had a great time trying new activities and gained fabulous experiences & made lifelong memories at PGL Dalguise. Every staff member was exceptional, rooms were clean, food was delicious and plentiful, a wonderful weekend away for all!

All the staff were very helpful, nothing a problem. The rooms for the children and Adults were clean and comfy beds ,
the activities suited the groups and the Canteen food was excellent so many choices and they catered for allergies, religions.

Simply fantastic experience for our pupils and staff. Our recent visit to PGL Boreatton Park was excellent. The staff were warm, encouraging, and highly skilled at creating an inclusive environment where every child regardless of confidence level or special educational need felt able to take part. Activities were well‑organised, safe, and thoughtfully adapted to ensure no one was left out. It was wonderful to see pupils push themselves, support one another, and genuinely thrive. A fantastic experience that truly embodied inclusion at its best.

Our school has been using PGL for our residentials for a number of years. Their customer service is great and all the staff are helpful. Our year 5's recently visited Marchants Hill, where they stayed for 3 nights. The range of activities were amazing, with majority of children experiencing the activities on offer for the first time. Children and staff feedback has been extremely positive and are looking forward to their next adventure with PGL to Little Canada.

We had an amazing time at PGL, and all our young people thoroughly enjoyed their weekend! The instructors were fantastic with our group — always kind, friendly, and incredibly patient as they taught and supported the young people through the activities.
The food was also excellent, and everything was very well organised. Mia was especially helpful, and the whole PGL team really went above and beyond to make the experience special for our group.

I took a class of P7 pupils to Ford Castle in March 2026. The setting is incredible and the kids were excited to be sleeping in a real castle. All the staff involved with our residential experience were superb and were happy to help with whatever request we had. The children enjoyed all the activities provided by PGL and the instructors were very good explaining the activities to the children and encouraging everyone to 'have a go!' Already booked for next year.

PGL Newby Wiske is fantastic place to visit for a residential. There is a great selection of activities which are both challenging and achievable. The staff are very well trained and knowledgeable about their activities. They have boundless energy and enthusiasm and offer a great deal of inspiration to the children. The accommodation is clean and very well maintained. The meals were plentiful, with a good offering of fresh salads and fruit.

Great booking experience with all information to hand in the booking portal to support staff and parents. Supportive and knowledgeable staff during booking process.

Centre was well managed and organised. Our group leader was always on hand to support our group with all aspects of our stay. Accommodation was well appointed for both staff and pupils. Catering was excellent with a wide and varied choice of food and changes made for those with dietary needs.

Activities were well organised, with knowledgeable instructions and high safety standards. Small groups to access activities so pupils got to take part without waiting too long.

We visited PGL Osmington Bay for an A level biology field studies course. The staff that facilitated the course were excellent and engaged well with the students. Our students had a brilliant time and made great progress.

Fabulous trip - staff took care of our sixth form students from the minute we arrived until we left. Well organised with great facilities. Classroom resources were great for teaching. Rooms were secure and heated and we were well fed. The activities were safe and so much fun. Our students were exhausted and had such a good time. Booking again for next year! Highly recommend.

There were 94 of us in two coaches. The young people had a fantastic time and the travel on coaches was a long way but helped to foster a team spirit.
The leaders were well looked after and everyone of us had a great time.
PGL took care of everything for us and made the administration much easier than if we’d done it ourselves. Having a whole corridor allocated to us made the management of the young people easy too.

PGL were great in helping me plan in the run up to the event, gave us an amazing price. Once we were there, we had an absolutely incredible weekend! All the youth loved it, and got to try out lots of new activities
