I've used this site for many many years as I keep guinea pigs, but I've also gotten 2 kittens over the past 2 years too. One of them was this weekend.
The site is easy to navigate and filter, the messaging is never delayed and this new system of paying deposits/full amounts is really helpful. I'm not a cash in hand guy so it's great just paying with a card and not having to fuss with bank transfers, which always needs approval and takes forever.
I've only ever had one issue with a seller but that was resolved instantly. Otherwise, it's always been a very smooth process. Seller prices cam be extortionate but that's not the site's fault. The only annoying thing was the constant asking about insurance and having to click it away a lot. I'd like to have my own and that the site accepts that as a setting.

The whole process was safe and informative lots of advice and the 5 week insurance was very helpful

What can you say pets4homes are truly the best place to find your fur baby easy to navigate to the right breed your looking for it’s nation wide service too we just found our Dorset old Tyme bulldogs Nancy and cookie the planning this company does is second to none ! Easy transaction they do check the breeder out too you get all the documentation when your baby is ready they encourage you to go and see your pet in there own environment too the owner keeps you informed about there progress pictures videos etc all arranged through pets4homes I really hope people find there perfect pet through this company excellent

Having retired recently, I was now looking for a new dog companion to get me out and about. Having recently had a terrible experience with a supposed registered breeder I decided to do some in-depth research.
I came across Pets4Homes who matched my needs exactly. I receive regular emails from them regarding local and verified dog breeders who I can contact when I am ready to do so.
Pets4Homes gives me numerous options and choices from their very own selection and most importantly, they are trusted and reliable.

This is the second time I have brought a german shepherd via pets at home.
Both dogs came from family homes which I was able to visit, and meet their owners, and their mum, which reassured me as to how they had been reared and cared for. I would recommend any one to visit your web site when considering getting a puppy. Thank you

The most frustrating site ever.
Despite being so expensive to post a pet customer service its a huge joke.
I have paid £90 to post a litter with all their silly "busters" and then reported a obvious fake add which wont do video call with the "pet they have for sale" just want a deposit, they havent do anything to that fake add still there! Then they actually blocked my add they blocked legit seller who spend £90 for that pageamd blocked mine cause i repprted a fakr one...makes you think do they have own puppy farm sellers there???
Customer service havent come back to me over fews days obviously as want my money back or will need tk male a dispute with my bank,
Be vigilant people stay away from this scammers they will makes you to pay and then block your account!

I felt reassured that breeders/owners are fully checked before being able to sell on this site.
All money transactions are held securely by Pets4homes. So you pay your settlement price via the app and clicking a "confirm collection" tab. Once this has taken place, Pets4homes immediately pays the Breeder/seller.
All conversations take place on the app, these are saved incase there are any issues.
All in all, I felt confident that everything was secure

Keep our personal information free from prying eyes. You can see the pet or pets you are looking for in clear pictures helping us to decide for our next puppy or kitten or other animals. Pets 4homes make their website easy to navigate and easy to use. It’s clear on how to pay deposit or full amounts of the pet you’re going to buy. Pets 4homes also give advice on important things like can we see the mum of the puppy we are buying. If you need help they are happy to advise or help.

I thought the online process for ordering items would be easier that going to a Pet 4 Home store, the delivery process is an absolute joke!

I paid for express delivery but did not receive in the allotted deadline!

Final and last order, Amazon moving forward.

This looks like a great idea, putting sellers and customers together, unfortunately after a while the computer decides that the customer must prove their identity and produce a Driving License or Passport. That was too much for me so I pulled away.

Very difficult to get an add up and takes absolutely ages to be reviewed and made live, also had huge problems with the payment system, the person had to go home empty handed as it wouldn't work.
Don't show phone numbers if you can't choose to let the public view it if you want to, because this company won't let you anymore, the messaging service didn't work properly so I was missing people's enquiries. Very poor lack of service indeed, complicated and not fit for function, terrible..

£Trying to charge me 5.99 to post one add it used to be completely free then it went up to £1.99 last time I used
it let’s just say I had no one reply to my ad I wasted that money and now 599 per post I’m sorry but I will go to preloved and freeads that only charge 5 per year for as many adds as you want. Used to love petsforhome for adverts but no going to use now be ripped off
