Not worth the price

While I was happy with my family tent, the quality of their lounge shelter was utterly disappointing: a slight wind bent all the poles at first usage.
As I found this not normal (factory quality issues can happen), their answer was "nope it's not guaranteed" and their offer to replace the poles costed more than a new one at their competitors.
So to me, not worth the extra cost if at the end of the day you have entry-level quality.

15cm Dreamhaven mattress inflation issue

The self inflating 15cm Dreamhaven single mattress I received does not self inflate properly on its own. Having just bought one it requires a pump to get it properly inflated. In order to use the pump you need to purchase an FHF pump adapter. It is also much easier when deflating the mattress to use a pump. Fortunately when I first came to use the mattress I was able to borrow an FHF pump adapter from a friend who was with us on the camping trip otherwise I would have struggled to get the mat properly inflated. Outwell are currently selling these Fhf pump adapters on their website for an additional £4.49 which given they are an extremely simple to manufacture piece of plastic is very disappointing if you have just spent the recommended £166.99 on their mattress.
The instructions state to aid self inflation they recommend storing the mattress inflated but to me the whole point of an inflatable mattress is to inflate for use and deflate for easy storage.

Once inflated I found the mattress performed very well and was very comfortable it’s just very frustrating that to get the mattress properly inflated you need to buy an adapter. I think Outwell should consider supplying these adapters as standard with this mattress rather than making it a separate purchase to avoid future customer disappointment.

Outwell Sleepin Double 10.0 cm self-inflating mat

My Sleepin Double 10.0 cm self-inflating mat started leaking air during the first season of use at the valve mounting location. First on one side of the valve, then on the other.
I put patches in there, but I left dissatisfied with the quality of the product.
I do not recommend it for purchase.

Worst customer care

We have two of the most expensive tents from Outwell, from the SATC inflatable line. We also have a lot of furniture, airbeds, chairs, etc. For the tents we must use a pump. We purchased the most expensive electric one also from Outwell. The tube of the pump was broken. I sent a request to buy the tube (not for free of course!). I do not received any answer for 4 weeks. I called them... Than no answer for another 3 weeks. Then I called them again. So after almost 2 months I received an email from the customer service saying, that this is not in production anymore, so they cannot replace it. 1st of all: they MUST provide service for products they are selling AND this pump is still in their web-shop! So I purchased the same pump since we liked to use the tent.

So very bad customer service and a big lie! They simply do not care!

Paid extra for faster delivery (within 2 ti 3 working days) and air mattress arrived over a week late. No response to email sent to Outwell expressing urgency due to camping trip.

Had to purchase elsewhere.

Product seems good but delivery and customer service a joke.

THE worst company I have ever dealt with

If I could give a zero I would. I think Outwell have to be THE worst company I have ever had to deal with. Their customer service team is beyond awful!!! We ordered a part for our tent. Part dimensions were incorrectly listed on their website so we returned the item for a refund. I received an email a few weeks later to say they wouldn’t be refunding it because we’d used it. Two lines, no explanation. We hadn’t used it. It had been returned unused and in brand new condition!! I disputed this and even provided a screen shot of a purchase we made for the correctly sized item the day after we returned it but nearly EIGHT WEEKS later I still haven’t been fully refunded . It’s been a complete nightmare. I’ve been ignored, fobbed off and lied too. They just don’t respond to emails and when they do it’s to tell you they are “looking into it”. Just last night I had an email to say your item has been refunded - thank god I thought - but when I checked they have only part refunded me with no explanation as to why!! So I assume this will be another two months of me still trying to get my money back. How this company are still trading I don’t know. Well actually I guess they are making a good profit because they unlawfully keep peoples money AND the items they have returned!! Please be careful when shopping with them because if you need assistance or want a refund it will be a long, stressful process!!

Unfortunately I can't select 0 stars

Unfortunately I can't select 0 stars. I am very unhappy from the customer service of this company. I bought two chairs "Seaford Ocean" one blu and one green.
I was using only blu and my wife green one. I bought them on holidays in Croatia. I decided to buy because I am 112kg and they are described by the Outwell as for max 120kg. Unfortunately already after couple of uses my chair was broken. The plastic under the arms wasn't strong enough. I managed to exchange it in the shop where I bough it. This year I started to use it again. Unfortunately the same happened. It is definitely problem with the design of the chair as it is always breaking in the same way.
As I live in Switzerland I contacted the service to explain the issue. I send a pictures to illustrate it. They ask for proof of purchase. I sent to them, but they asked me to go to Croatia and deal with the retailer there.
As a global company they could deal with this issue directly and organise refund. Unfortunately they are not willing to help even if they mislead customers wrongly describing their product.
I do not trust them any longe and do not recommend. Stay away from them.

Great service - ships from Denmark

Great service, just wasn't obvious that items bound for the UK ship from Denmark! (Allow a few extra days) Thus table was unpacked and loaded straight into the camping trailer - 5 mins before we set off! Table is sturdy and a great size for us.

Very bad experience with the quality of a tent. Money thrown away

Hello.
I bought a nevada 5 in 2019. That same year my partner, daughters (5 and 2 years old) and I went on an outing. Everything went well as it didn't rain.
In 2020 we didn't use it for reasons you can imagine.
In 2021 we went on another outing where it rained on us for 30 minutes one afternoon while we weren't at the campsite. When we returned the whole tent was soaked inside and all our belongings were wet. At that time we informed the supplier but he told us that they needed graphic evidence and that the guarantee had ended. We didn't send any photos because we didn't think about it while we were trying to dry everything out worried about the situation.
In 2022 we went on another outing but it didn't rain and there were no problems.
In 2023 we didn't use it.
This August we used it and it rained a little during the night and water got in again. This time we did contact them with graphic evidence and Outwell responded that the guarantee has already expired.
As of today, we do not trust the tent and we are going to have to get rid of it. Clearly the problem is in the entire outer layer of the tent because it leaks on the entire surface. In addition, we have observed that all the inner seam protections of that layer are in poor condition and many are peeling off. We understand that our complaint is not covered by warranty, but they should have a more extensive warranty on the materials or the integrity of the tent. It is clear that it is a manufacturing defect and we assure you that it is not due to misuse or ageing.
We have had experience for 30 years using different tents (all much cheaper) and nothing similar has ever happened to us. I would never recommend Outwell for buying a tent.

No spares at ECOcool Slate Grey 35 12V/230V

Unfortunately I have informed by customer support that there is no spare electrical parts for the ECOcool Slate Grey 35 12V/230V fridge
It is a very expensive fridge which has to be supported by manufacturer in electrical parts
I am very diassapointed by that approach of Outwell Company

Outwell camping eqipment

From the manufacturer Outwell, we have so far ordered the Nevada 5P tent (now in its third year), this year also the Summer Lounge L. From the German distributor Goya, four chairs and a portable fridge for camping.
Delivery is quite fast and correct. I noticed that the packaging of the boxes in which the goods are located is not very well secured and taped. It would certainly be good to improve.
12.7mm fiberglass pole are not very durable. One pole cracked and reason is bending due to the strong wind, because the metal joints are to blame for the damage to the fiberglass material. This can be improved.
I complained after a year on cracked pole, they accepted the complaint, but service dept.reject to send spear and said they had no replacement and that I should contact one of the distributors.
The materials show that they are good and well designed. They can be cleaned well and the quality is recognized.
