They don't tell you but items are dispatched from Denmark, and it takes at least a week for them to even leave Denmark. There is nothing made clear during the order process online that you should allow extra time for the order to arrive. It's a .com website and nothing to suggest a foreign service unless you go looking for it. Also, their FAQs pages are literally non-existent - all the links from their UK customer service webpage redirect to their homepage.
I ordered a stove a week in advance of a camping trip and on the day of departure it is still in Denmark. Bloody useless. Do they somehow think that if they hide this critical information that you simply won't notice it takes weeks for your order to turn up?! Pointlessly misleading, and destroys any and all trust in the company. I can't even complain directly because there is no contact us page on their website (redirects to homepage).
Finally, I opted out of marketing emails and they STILL send it to me. What do they think, that by ramming adverts down my throat that I don't want, and tricking me into making purchases that I can't use, that I'll want to buy from them again?!?

I wanted to buy a second tent. But Outwell refused to answer my questions. I tried to contact them for 6 weeks! No answer.

I love Outwell gear for camping. It's incredible quality. This purchase was fab, vv happy.

Dreadful customer service, boght a privacy room , new model which doesn’t fit as stated so asked for better pitching instructions in case we were doing it incorrectly and also told them what the issues are .( I have looked at the only decent video on YouTube in German and still non the wiser ) Reply was to contact where we bought from and that’s it … which I have done who referred us to Outwell . Now stuck with an awning that we can’t use as shown ,and getting no where
Supplier we bought from will take back but with a restocking fee of 25%….very expensive mistake and won’t buy from again

they were very quick to post the goods but one came faulty and it's been 3 working days not including the weekend for them to respond to my complaint, not sure who is working at customer services but I'm getting nothing back from 4 attempts of contact otherwise would of been 4/5 stars

We purchased 3 large air tents, all were destroyed in high winds in Wales, ripped beyond repair and disposed of on site. We all had nothing but trouble with air beams bursting, losing pressure over night having tents collapsing. All three tents didn't last more than 24months and only used three times. Waste of over 3k. We are seasoned campers for 50 years and we're so disappointed with these Outwell tents. We have had many high winds in Wales and slightly damaged tents, but all survived. Our 3 families camping days are over. The other manufacturers tents and friends on same field all survived with no damage or collapsing. The air beams are a good idea, but the hassle and troubles we all had, replacing some beams was too stressful and I would recommend you steer clear of Outwell tents, don't say I didn't warn you.

I bought the wrong chair (Ontario instead of Melville) as a gift for my husband several months ahead. I wrote twice to ask about the possibility of an exchange showing the payment from my account since I no longer had the receipt. Unfortunately I never received a response. Such a shame since all my dealings with outwell have been excellent (tent, chairs)
I went online to buy a new chair and it was not available but I had the option to reserve it. This I did and have since paid for and received it. This all went very smoothly as usual.

Had an issue with a tent and they resolved it very satisfactorily.

It took over a week to arrive with no information...it just turned up!

While I was happy with my family tent, the quality of their lounge shelter was utterly disappointing: a slight wind bent all the poles at first usage.
As I found this not normal (factory quality issues can happen), their answer was "nope it's not guaranteed" and their offer to replace the poles costed more than a new one at their competitors.
So to me, not worth the extra cost if at the end of the day you have entry-level quality.

Received the product quicker than expected- happy with the delivery!

The self inflating 15cm Dreamhaven single mattress I received does not self inflate properly on its own. Having just bought one it requires a pump to get it properly inflated. In order to use the pump you need to purchase an FHF pump adapter. It is also much easier when deflating the mattress to use a pump. Fortunately when I first came to use the mattress I was able to borrow an FHF pump adapter from a friend who was with us on the camping trip otherwise I would have struggled to get the mat properly inflated. Outwell are currently selling these Fhf pump adapters on their website for an additional £4.49 which given they are an extremely simple to manufacture piece of plastic is very disappointing if you have just spent the recommended £166.99 on their mattress.
The instructions state to aid self inflation they recommend storing the mattress inflated but to me the whole point of an inflatable mattress is to inflate for use and deflate for easy storage.

Once inflated I found the mattress performed very well and was very comfortable it’s just very frustrating that to get the mattress properly inflated you need to buy an adapter. I think Outwell should consider supplying these adapters as standard with this mattress rather than making it a separate purchase to avoid future customer disappointment.
